After a messy divorce, Muse A, a witty and warm-hearted designer, returns to work at a large corporate firm, determined to keep her head down and pick up her life. But then there’s Muse B, the charming, quietly funny Vice President who in the office behind her — and wears a wedding ring.
It starts innocently: shared laughs during meetings, subtle glances, a habit of arriving at the coffee machine at the same time. He compliments her designs and acts as a mentor, she enjoys mocking his bad jokes and softens his corporate demeanor.
The tension between them rises over time until they lose themselves in it…let’s plot the rest.

hey, tags! just looking for someone(s) to write some m/m plots with, preferably on discord (tumblr&email work too). i have some plots listed below -- mostly modern settings with supernatural themes. feel free to dm if you like any below, or have an idea of your own! thanks xx
001.) supernatural/magic/crime theme
Muse A is a demon-for-hire that “ promises to solve your case, or your soul back 100% guaranteed ! “ Muse B is a satisfied client that just unexpectedly passed. Upon opening his eyes, B finds himself in A’s office with a cold chain collar around his neck, and a stack of files thrust into his hand. A tells him to get to filing before they both have to hear their next clients tale of woe. This is the beginning of A and B’s partnership and the insane jobs they are hired to do.
002.) dark souls/mmorpg/fantasy theme
It’s been three days since Muse A has been locked in this dungeon by its beastly inhabitants. Awaiting to be eaten, A hears the wail of one of the beasts and the squelching sound of a weapon sinking into flesh. Muse B, a seasoned adventurer, was lured here by the promise of treasure, but instead found a live captive. B rescues A as long as he promises to be his sword. The two become a party and go forth to find treasure and other precarious situations.
003.) incubus/supernatural/kinda cute theme
Muse A is an incubus that doesn’t really think much of humans as anything but cattle. Out on the town for a meal, A starts chatting up Muse B at a bustling club. Finding themselves headed towards B’s apartment so A can eat away at B’s energy, they’ve somehow swapped numbers? And made plans for . . . a date? A finds B peculiar, and is just very confused about his feelings, but still, a demon has to eat. Hopefully A doesn’t accidentally kill his new date.
004.) sci-fi/firefly/voltron theme Muse A and B are two members on a run-down spaceship that always seems to find trouble. Then again, when it comes to pillaging abandoned crafts and exploring menacing planets … you tend to find your fair share of danger. A and B are always ready to jump into the fray. Whether it be to find a new signature firearm for A pose with, or uncovering technologies of forgotten civilization for B to decode, the possibilities are endless. Of course, getting into bar fights is just as common.
005.) magic/fantasy/supernatural theme
It’s been a few months since Muse A broke up with their possessive ex, and after too many unexplained coincidences, he’s sure he’s been cursed. From worms in his bed, to tacks in his shoes, there’s no doubt. Unable to break it himself, A finds a new magic shop that’s recently opened run by Muse B. Enlisting the help of the witch, A agrees to help. Sadly for B, his ex sends one spell after another, and keeps finding himself at A’s shop. But, even after the curses stop coming, he can’t help be drawn in by the smell of incense and the company.

For behold, the LORD will come in fire, And HIS chariots like the whirlwind, To render HIS anger with fury, And HIS rebuke with flames of fire. For the LORD will execute judgement by fire, And by HIS sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many. - ISAIAH 66:15-16
i. map
genre: dystopian, scifi, futuristic, nuclear apocalypse, based off “z for zachariah” setting/time period: near future; post-nuclear war america pairing: any pairing is fine, these characters are written as genderless. character dynamic isn’t inherently romantic. it can be romance, friendship, enemies, some combination of that, etc! type: 1x1 status: OPEN
ii. setting/backdrop
It has been over two years since war erupted in the world, casting the earth into a pitiable, dark silence as it rotted in its newfound toxicity. In the fallout, communication was utterly lost -- leading what few survivors who remained to wonder if they were alone in the world. Those who still lived were found amongst bunkers beneath scorched earth; cast into a sunless existence with ever-dwindling supplies. It was not long before many began to take their chances in the world above, where radiation poisoning awaited. It became clear that two options remained: die in the world below, or the earth above.
Or, discover eden: a fertile 7-mile valley seemingly untouched by radiation.
In the wake of nuclear fallout the valley is a veritable paradise; complete with woodlands to hunt in, a fish-filled lake, tilled farmland and livestock, a small corner-store still containing supplies, and an attached gas station where oil is still able to be readily harvested. The valley has only one hint of the destruction of the outside world: another stream separate from the valley’s main lake, made radioactive by its origins in the world beyond.
To find it would mean to risk losing everything on the possibility of gaining it all back.
iii. character backgrounds
Character: “A” -- “Faith”  Age: 20+ FC Suggestions: Zoey Deutch, Noah Centineo, Booboo Stewart, Tom Holland, Brianna Hildebrand, Alycia Debnam-Carey, any FC works/open to further suggestion.  Status: Open. My preference is for this role, but I will write either.
Born and raised in the valley, A was reared to think of the 7-mile stretch of land as both a gift from God and an extension of themselves. A’s family had farmed the land in the valley for generations on end, and the wooden church house down by the lake -- where A’s father served as preacher -- was built with their grandfather’s own hands. Life was peaceful and cyclic: early mornings dedicated to working the land or attending school, and evenings often ended with their father’s mass where A played the church organ. This was simple, if not at times stifling -- and though A loved their family and the friends they had amongst the small school they attended outside the valley’s reach, they sometimes found that they desired some level of independence.
War came before any semblance of freedom could be attained, and A hunkered down with their family while the others who lived in the valley fled, and prayed for survival. God will protect us, A’s father had said. And if it’s our time to die, we’ll go to Him. When the war cleared and the valley remained somehow untouched, A’s father called it a miracle, and another gift from God. With no other explanation, A was inclined to agree. The family remained together for three months before A’s father announced that it was time to leave the valley on a rescue mission to find others. Despite A’s protests, their father remained steadfast: God has put us here for a reason. We have to save others. Without room for argument, A watched as their father and elder siblings departed, leaving A to tend the farm with their younger brother.
Within days, A’s brother fled the farm to go after their father. A thought to go after him, but was ultimately too fearful of the radiation to give chase. A wanted to believe that their brother found their father and that they would all be home soon. When one year went by, A believed they died. When another 6 months went by, A believed that everyone had died -- and they were very well the last person on earth. This fear was cemented when, while hunting in the woods one day, A accidentally shot a man who had wandered from the outside into the valley. Out of fear, A ran back to the safety of the farmhouse after shooting the man. Throughout the night, A was almost certain that they could hear the man screaming for help. When they went back to the woods days later, they found the man some distance away from where they’d shot him: mauled from animals and dead. A shallow grave was made for the dead man, and A solemnly resigned themselves to the truth that there had only been one other person left in the world -- and they’d killed them.
Character: “B” -- “Logic” Age: 30+ FC Suggestions: Bob Morley, Gina Rodriguez, Steven Yeun, Evan Rachel Wood, Sean Teale, Diana Penty, any FC works/open to further suggestion! Status: Open.
Born with a gifted intellect, B was raised with a high emphasis placed on logic and reason, and all things quantifiable. Their tendency to excel inspired a slight attitude of superiority, which led to B rubbing the wrong way with classmates, but it did not bother them much. So far as B was concerned, they did know best -- they couldn’t help if others disagreed. It was a surprise to no one at all when B went on to pursue an engineering degree, nor was it a surprise when they completed their doctorate was completed before the age of 25.
When war began, B was brought underground to a military bunker with other survivors. Their skill-set had made them essential, and in the aftermath of the bombing B was tasked with leading the team charged with designing radiation-resistant suits. Over the course of a year and a half, B worked with a team to try and create something sustainable. Over that same time, B watched as members of the team grew fed up with life underground -- some choosing to end their lives by traveling out of the bunker without the safety of the suit. Though B continued to work, they found that they too were growing sick of the underground. When a successful suit was finally made available, battle quickly ensued amongst the remaining members for who would have it -- and it was ultimately B who won the bloody fight, killing the others and escaping out into the outside world with the suit and medicine to fight off radiation sickness.
While in search for somewhere free from radiation, B was left to reckon with the horror of what they’d done for the sake of gaining wretched freedom: a nuclear wasteland filled with the dead and dying. Along the way, they encountered people suffering with radiation and begging for death -- and on occasion, they felt compelled to grant it. As the days dragged on, B slowly became convinced that there was no where left in the world that was safe to live -- and from within the protection of their suit, they were the last person left alive who hadn’t succumbed to radiation.
iv. plot
When B stumbles upon the valley, they are shocked to find a world somehow spared the radiation and horror of the outside world. They quickly begin to explore the valley, unaware of the fact that they are being followed by a curious -- and unbelieving -- A.
A struggles to believe that another person has made their way into the valley. Despite feeling an overwhelming sense of relief -- to know that they were no longer alone -- A feels apprehension as well. They struggle with whether or not to reveal themselves to B, and are only pushed into doing it after finding B swimming in the contaminated river. Frightened with the prospect of being alone again, A reveals themselves, and brings B inside their home just as they begin to become sick from radiation. With B’s guidance, A nurses B back to health -- and the two form a tentative alliance as it becomes clear that B isn’t going anywhere.
B’s engineering talent is invaluable in bringing the farm back to life, and A’s ability to live off the land helps to keep them hale and hearty as they settle into life together. As their relationship forms, seeds of doubt and untrustworthiness flare up between them -- evidenced by A’s refusal to allow B to come out into the woods with them to hunt (lest they come upon the grave of the man they murdered), or B’s refusal to discuss the outside world beyond the most basic of conversations. Their differences are also shown clearly in their attitudes about the valley itself: B looks at it as a scientific miracle that they are desperate to understand, whereas A accepts it as a miracle period. Furthermore, the two find that they are argue-prone where the future of the valley is concerned: A begins to daydream about using the radiation suit to go out and find other survivors to bring back -- fulfilling their father’s original mission -- whereas B believes that the outside world should be forgotten entirely, and life should be contained to the two of them alone.
v. ending notes & comments.
whew. first plot written in a while, so bear with me.
not unlike the source material, this basically boils down to Logic and Faith locked in a battle for survival. which i think makes for a super interesting storyline! i imagine a lot of them trying to make it work, struggling to respect one another’s views, feeling suspicious of each other at times, not wanting to let each other go b/c they believe they’re the last survivors of the world...etc!
i tried to leave personality outside of the characters, so that outside of their essential background notes/general alignment to logic or faith, they can be designed into whatever you want.
as always, all ages may inquire about writing, 18+ if you’re looking to write anything sexual. fading to black is always cool.
send me an IM if interested!
if you LIKE this post, i will IM YOU!

Inspired by A Knight’s Tale
MUSE A might have been a commoner by birth, that was certain, but when he and his commrades found their master dead and being called to tournament? Well, they thought fast and MUSE A pulled on the armour on and impersonated him, going on to win the tournament and the prize to keep the small group fed. In a time where nobles were the only ones that were allowed to compete, MUSE A was now in a bind where they were having to find a way to forge a patent of nobility to continue the illusion and keep them all fed.
After forging the papers and finding a few more companions along the way, MUSE A bumps into MUSE B, the betrothed of his competitor MUSE C (NPC), during a joust things got all the more complicated along the way. Determined to beat MUSE C in the joust and having a chance at MUSE B in his life with the impression of his nobility, the idea is shot to hell when MUSE C is summoned to fight in a war while MUSE A continues win the jousts and eventually the heart of MUSE B. However, it doesn’t change the fact that she is betrothed to MUSE C, or that everything could come crashing down if someone finds out that MUSE A is over no such nobility at all.
Super anxious to have a plot like this -- feel free to like this or message me if you’re interested! Personally I would like to play MUSE B, but I’m open to anything!

—we’re not meant to save the world,                    we’re meant to leave it
PLOT ONE: INTERSTELLAR
After a nuclear war left much of the earth uninhabitable, muse a and muse b were carefully selected as co-captains on a colonization mission. With a crew of twelve and over 900 human embryos in tow, the Orion set out into space.
They were all pioneers, looking for a place to survive.
No amount of training could’ve prepared for what they would find in search of their new home.
Barren, diseased planets with no room for mankind. After several failed attempts and a six year stretch in stasis, the crew are desperate for a place to call home.
Time will only tell. Will humans find their place, or are they done existing?
POTENTIAL PLOT ARCS:
- Muse A and Muse B both absolutely loath each other. They each think that they know what is best for their crew, often butting heads. What the other crew members don’t see is that, late at night, they find comfort in each other.
- After being awoken from stasis, Muse A and B find that the Orion is malfunctioning. As a result, a majority of the crew is lost, as well as many of the human embryos. Together, they must survive this colonization mission on their own.
- One night, Muse A or Muse B are made aware of a transmission from a nearby planet. Much closer than their final destination, they decide to head towards it. As they land on the planet, the remains of a civilization can be found. They soon come face to face with a hostile, almost invincible species.
- After exploring a seemingly perfect planet for colonization, Muse A and/or Muse B realize that they’ve inhaled something toxic. As they weaken over the course of a few hours, they must find an antidote or die.
OTHER NOTES:
I’ve wanted to do a plot like this for a long time. I already have some plots similar to this, but I can’t get enough. This genre is so fun and the possibilities are endless. As you can tell, I’ve been inspired by films like Alien, Interstellar, and Life.
I didn’t give too much background on either muse because I want them to fit our writing style best. I am open to doing this plot with several people.
I would love to play a female (preferably f x f), but I also have muse for a male character, as well. I’m open to m/f, m/m, or f/f.
Just as a general warning, I’m sure there will be mature content in this. Not necessarily NSFW (although I am open to writing smut), but violence, cursing, potential horror, and other things like that.
I’m pretty open minded about FCs. We can discuss that together!
EXTRAS:
Since I’m extra as hell, I made a playlist for this. Enjoy it here.
If you’re interested in writing this, please like this post, and I’ll message you!

Plots?? Never heard of ‘em.
after a month of getting some personal things sorted, i’m back and hoping to find a couple  long-term writing partners. here’s a few plots that might be fun, although i’d like to hear your own ideas as well! most themes/genres are good with me so don’t hold back.
001.) dark souls/mmorpg/fantasy theme**
It’s been three days since Muse A has been locked in this dungeon by its beastly inhabitants. Awaiting to be eaten, A hears the wail of one of the beasts and the squelching sound of a weapon sinking into flesh. Muse B, a seasoned adventurer, was lured here by the promise of treasure, but instead found a live captive. B rescues A as long as he promises to be his sword. The two become a party and go forth to find treasure and other precarious situations.
002.) sci-fi/firefly/voltron theme
Muse A and B are two members on a run-down spaceship that always seems to find trouble. Then again, when it comes to pillaging abandoned crafts and exploring menacing planets . . . you tend to find your fair share of danger. A and B are always ready to jump into the fray. Whether it be to find a new signature firearm for A pose with, or uncovering technologies of forgotten civilization for B to decode, the possibilities are endless. Of course, getting into bar fights is just as common.
003.) supernatural/magic/crime theme**
Muse A is a demon-for-hire that “ promises to solve your case, or your soul back 100% guaranteed ! “ Muse B is a satisfied client that just died in a car collision.
Variations of these plots are welcomed, and I’m open to playing either A or B. Asterisks indicate more interest, but all are welcomed.

THERE IS NO LAW... NO RESTRAINT... IN THIS SEETHING CAULDRON OF VICE AND DEPRAVITY.
i. map
genre: historical, romance, violence, based off the tv show “godless”  setting/time period: 1880s American West  pairing: f/f type: 1x1 status: OPEN
ii. setting/backdrop
In the Wild West, a sort of anarchy reigns supreme. People abandon the comfort of home for a perilous journey out west with thoughts of gold and ore spurring them on, and are often met on the road with violence and disorder. The few sheriffs, marshals, and vigilantes who seek to keep the peace are unable to keep up with the violence and debauchery that marks this new and exciting territory of America. Lawlessness runs rampant, and people from all walks of life turn to criminality in their pursuits of fame and riches. For those who do make it out west, hardship and opportunity awaits in equal measure. Towns are built up from tent-cities, and as homes and churches are created so too are saloons and brothels.     Copperton is a small development in the heart of Arizona. The town name was shortened from the original name “Copper-town,” and was so-called because of the massive amounts of valuable copper available to be mined. The city swelled with life in the past fifteen years, and was thriving until recently, when the incident occurred. In a freak accident, the copper mine partially collapsed -- and as a result, nearly all the men were killed. Left behind are sons who were too young to work, men who were too old or sick, the town’s drunken sheriff, and all the women. With no aid from the outside world, the women of Copperton have been left to lead the town, and to protect it from the gangs that roam the land.
iii. character descriptions
Character: “A” Age: 30+ Status: Open.
Originally from Missouri, A came out west with her family and friends fifteen years ago. She was a part of the first group to help settle Copperton, and helped to lay down the very foundation of some of the town’s original buildings, which she takes a great deal of pride in. While the men began the mining, A was responsible for much of the town’s overall development, and was very proactive in helping to establish the businesses that helped the town to thrive. As one of the most well-regarded women in town, A married a similarly well-liked man, and settled into life in Copperton. Though she could not profess to love her husband, she did consider him to be a friend. Their marriage worked, and the two were looked on with high esteem in town -- they were sometimes jokingly looked on as the mayor and the first lady. Life in Copperton was hard work, but for A it was worth it to have something that was her own -- something that was made with her blood, sweat, and tears.     After the mine shaft collapsed, A’s husband was lost along with most of the town’s men. Despite having never loved the man, the tragedy struck A hard, and she was distraught to find that most of the newly-made widows of Copperton looked to her for guidance. Since the incident, A has become the de facto leader of the town, though it was never her intention to seek explicit power. She has been doing her best in the position, but finds it to be filled with immense stress and strife.
Character: “B” Age: 20+ Status: Open.
Born and raised in New York City to immigrants, B was the middle child of seven children, and lived in poverty. Her earliest memories were colored by sleeplessness and hunger, and she began working in a factory to support her family alongside her elder siblings at the age of 9. She toiled unhappily in this work for several years, and eventually ran away from home when she was thirteen years old. Since that time, she’s floated from place to place, and carried various odd-jobs in order to support herself. B was seventeen when she fell in with sex work -- a choice she made on her own, and one she did shamelessly. The job brought her more money than she’d been able to make before, and with the money came opportunities she’d not had before. Specifically, B was able to hire tutors and to recover the education that had been lost to her as a child. Eventually, B’s line of work earned her a place on a caravan of prostitutes traveling out west. B found herself working in Long Locks, a brothel in the town of Copperton. Her line of work allowed her to become privately well-off in the town, but she continued to live a humble life in order to amass her wealth.    Things changed after the mine shaft collapsed, taking most of the town’s men with it. The lack of a customer base led to her employer abandoning the brothel, and most of her employees left with the madam. B remained behind, and opted to take the empty brothel and convert it into a schoolhouse for the children of Copperton. Unlike the other women of the town, B does not necessarily see the death of the men as a tragedy that cannot be moved on from -- she believes Copperton could have a future, just as it is.
iv. plot
Without the men of Copperton, the town has been thrown into a frenzy. What will we do for money? What will we do if bandits come? How will we survive? For all of these questions, they look desperately to A. In an effort to steer the town safely through this process, A has been looking for the answers to their questions. What few men remain seem either incapable or utterly unwilling to provide help: the elderly can only do so much, and their town sheriff is getting on in age and is often too deep in his drinks to do little more than stumble about with a gun in his belt. She is aware that the utter lack of men in the town makes them painfully vulnerable to attacks from gangs.    One viable resource has presented itself: the Smith Ventures Company, a mining company that has expressed an interest in buying the mine out from the women of Copperton. In exchange for the purchase, delegates from the company have offered to send a trainload of men to the town, and to alleviate the economic burden that has been placed onto the ladies. After the transaction, the town would hold onto five percent of the mine -- with the other ninety-five belonging to the company. Although it is the best -- and frankly, only -- option that A has been presented with, she hesitates to make the sale. After years of effort in building up Copperton and making it their own, it seems wrong to throw it all away in the face of strife.     B, who considers Copperton to be home just as it is, befriends A and offers an alternative: rather than bring in men to save them, they simply save themselves. She suggests that they learn what they need to about the mine, hire outside labor where needed to extract the copper, and run the economy of the town on their own. In regards to gang violence, B’s suggestion is simple: they ought to buy guns, and learn how to shoot them.
v. ending notes & comments.
i liked the show godless, but i felt like it really did the whole bait and switch on the concept -- i wanted it to be about the women of la belle, and i felt like it failed a little in bringing forth that story. thus, this plot!! a story that i would like to be about the LADIES, and their choice to stand up for themselves and prove that they don’t need men to run the town. i think it would also be really interesting to involve the concept of outside threats, like bandits and gangs.
all ages may inquire about writing, 18+ if you’re looking to write anything sexual. fading to black is always cool.
love headcanons! love talking to partners! hope you do too!

lucky for you, that’s what i like;
muse a and muse b used to date in high school—a pair of sweethearts who everybody thought were going to make it someday. but muse a was always trying to make it big in hollywood and despite muse b’s insistence that they shouldn’t push it too hard, especially since college was something they would have to bee looking into soon, muse a made every attempt to get their career off the ground and struck gold with an agent. though both muse a and muse b were ecstatic, it didn’t last long when muse a broke up with muse b, saying they didn’t want fame to be the reason they ended their relationship and they wanted to focus on making it big so they could provide for them one day. and so they ended their relationship on good terms, years passing as muse b watched muse a soar into fame on tv and occasionally talked to them, but losing contact after about one year, meanwhile struggling to keep up with college and a job and stay stable financially. until one day, when they’re leaving classes to head to their night job and find muse a waiting for them—ready to finally deliver on the promise they made when they parted ways: that they would take care of muse b. it’s all vacations, shopping, staying in hotels, and falling in love again for them.
