OKAY SO

i was going to be angsty and feral about this in the gc way fucking early this morning, but my internet quit working for a few hours so i put my nonsense into a notepad so i wouldn't forget

and now that i'm back home, and the internet is working: here it is - copied & pasted, exactly how my 2 AM brain typed it

Idk how you feel about the genre of music but like.. the SECOND my brain put the lyrics together with Bucky (as they do when it's approaching 2 AM and a bitch is up listening to their favorite band) I was like GOTTA GET COLE ON THIS. Hello and thank you so much! I myself don't know much D'ni either and have definitely not taken any lessons. I used this Dictionary of D'ni words/phrases to piece the message together. I actually got a question similar to this earlier, so here's my answer to that one. Since then I've received some very helpful advice on writing in D'ni (Which you can see in the replies under the post) And I will be updating the reblog banners.

Your Mystposting made me check if I'd bought the game yet or if I should wishlist it; I already own realMyst: Masterpiece Edition and I bought Myst: MasterPiece Edition because it was $2. The latter says it's 'as close to the original as possible', and the former has free movement, a bonus epilogue age, and 'minor additions to better fit the larger story line of the series'. Which would you suggest I play? I like pretty graphics but I'm iffy on doing a retconned version first.

oh of those 2 i'd definitely recommend Myst: MasterPiece edition. i'm really not keen on RealMyst, I actually think the graphics are a downgrade aesthetically speaking. i did a side by side a while back here. RealMyst looks so. dingy? compared to the original. don't love it!

the package arrived pretty badly damaged BUT EVERYTHING INSIDE SURVIVED!!!!! Not sure how the universe managed that but i'm so thankful for it because oh my GOD the full bundle i ordered sometime ago from @steddiezines finally arrived and i !!!!!!!!!!!

one of the best things about the letter Myst games is that the creatives said "okay how many little symbols can we come up with" and the answer was a lot
