The concept of esmp s2 Joel almost dying in battle with an old familiar face.

While he fights for his life, the other emperors are none the wiser. It's only until the fountain in Critter City starts desperately spitting out wine, turning the water a deep crimson, that Lizzie realises something is off.

And It's only until Scott of Chromia hears a rumble and when looking up he sees the Eye of Stratos tumble out of the sky, distroying a gigantic part of Lower Stratos and taking many citizen down with it, that he realises something is deeply wrong.

And when the stalactites fall from the cave ceiling in Gobland and Head of Gobland hastily escorts his companions outside, that he notices the dust rising up from the neighboring kingdom.

There's no one in Sanctuary. Except for Joel. The protector of this place has long been banished from the realm, and only a shadow of him remains.

Joel watched as the shadow dissapears, axe abandoned deeply inside the (former) God's chest.

Perhaps, with the last power he had, he'd crawl towards the ocean. Maybe he'd stare into the deep blue and smile has he realises he might finally go home.

The emperors would be none the wiser, because when they evantually got there, there was no God to be found.

I know the CCs have said there will be all new characters for Empires SMP S2 but wouldn't there be just a /little/ temptation for Sausage to still be the King of Mythland, with the whole cross-dimension travel thing?

(Of course I would also love to see him create a whole new character as well. But, you know, that plotline is just begging to be continued. Everyone else is different but he keeps thinking he recognizes them. Give me more Mythland royal bloodline mystical abilities lore)

I would love to have the empires ending spoiled for me

throughout the entire season, there's been three things that have been happening that are important to state.

two empires, the grimlands (led by fwhip) and the codlands (led by jimmy solidarity) have been on opposite sides of an old war. fwhip is a dick to jimmy, jimmy is too much of a wimp to stop him. that's how it was for the whole time

there was a demon called xornoth who had been terrorizing the server, possessing people, etc etc. at some it was revealed that they were scott smajor's sibling. they'd been sealed in a crystal, and were considered handled. also joey graceffa was in love with him

lizzie ldshadowlady found a book of prophecies. i don't remember any of them but they were all really vague and prophecy-y

the first event happened when fwhip and jimmy finally made a truce. jimmy had lost his mask that he wore everywhere, so fwhip volunteered to make him a new one as a gesture of good faith. they do that by mixing cod and salmon, basically two magics.

that caused a huge explosion that completely destroyed the grimlands and the neighboring kingdoms. everyone blamed jimmy, and yelled at him for it.

now to my favorite part of the explanation: (trying to explain each of the ruler's fates)

jimmy ran away, unable to deal with the guilt of destroying everything

fwhip and gem run away on the back of a dragon

shrub left to look for the other gnomes (he was the only one left that she knew of)

mythicalsausage killed himself in some huge religious sacrifice to save his empire from evil blood sheep

scott killed himself in an attempt to kill xornoth, who escaped the crystal

joey graceffa died on accident by falling into the crater of his empire

pearlescentmoon died because her soul was connected to the land

lizzie lost all of her memories and logged out (literally just. logged out. that was it.)

joel went mad with grief and loneliness and died after the end of the episode

pixlriffs was on a hiatus irl and didn't. log on. his character was just not online

katherine also left. i don't remember why.

Hi it's 6am, I've just woken up, but I'm still feeling really sappy.

So I'm gonna do some loveposting for one of my favorite artists cuz god!!! I can't!! get over!!! how good their art is!!!!!

Of you haven't seen @floweroflaurelin and their art, you have to check it out. If you're a fan of Empires SMP, you probably already know who I'm talking about. They've worked with MythicalSausage, Scott Smajor, and Pixlriffs in creating some wonderful art for their empires (and then some).

Their art is so gorgeous with the colors and the anatomy and the style of painting!!!! Like, I am talking Renaissance-style painting appearance. Or Baroque. Fuck, I know there's differences, I took the art history class in college, but I don't remember anymore.

Their main catalogue, of what I've seen, is mcyt, especially of Empires. Every time I see one of their art pieces, whether it's a sketch or a full on painting or a doodle, I just wanna reach inside the computer and shove it into my mouth. I wanna hang them up everywhere, I wanna share their art so bad, like I wanna cry about it.

Their art is just. so fucking good.
