anw i am just so emotionally exhausted rn and i think i have been for a while now. i cannot be the sole bearer of the “cancer sucks” burden i just cant. and to be screamed at because i’m not operating at 100% rn esp after being told my grandpa is basically on his deathbed and my dad is two steps away from having leg amputated (which all comes after a year of both my parents getting cancer and being the only person taking care of my mother while she goes through chemo) is um. frankly kind of mean.

The future and goals are deceptive.

They appear as final solutions to life’s struggles. But they’re mere junctions in the long, complex journey we’re into on earth.

Life is in phases…. but struggle is constant. No matter the money, passport or location, everyone is battling pains per time.

Nothing will take away all struggles. You can only get NEW struggles. Our wish and prayers is that the new struggle should be less brutal than the former, but we must have some discomfort.

Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, has revealed that his estranged wife, Sheila, returned just N1,000 to him as a bride price refund despite spending over N2 million on their wedding. He stated this while reacting to his ex-wife’s claims that she had returned the bride price. In an Instagram live video with popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, Israel DMW said his ex-wife sent the N1,000 via bank transfer. He argued that the bride price was supposed to be returned to his family because he didn’t make the payment personally. Meanwhile, Israel DMW had urged his ex-wife to return his bride price in a “proper way.” He insisted that only a Federal High Court could dissolve their marriage. It will be recalled that since LSPPA released the procurement records of the Sanwo-Olu's administration in the state, the governor has come under serious criticisms from many Nigerians on social media. But despite the criticisms, the governor said the State will continue to publish its spending and keep it open for public scrutiny. Speaking at the Commissioning of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) Building, PWD Ikeja, recently, the governor assured that his administration would continue to deliver impactful governance to the state and will also not be critical of public scrutiny in its bid to improve the state.
