Man i binged watched Grimm, and damn!!! I remembered how much I love Nadalind!!!! I needed more scenes of them together, like hugs, kisses, pretty much just them being a couple, and also with Kelly, and also Diana💕😩 Just them being cute 🥰

You know I would have loved to see Bud with Kelly, like he took care of Adalind when she was pregnant, he was very nice and asked no questions, he understood that it was complicated and then he wasn’t judgy, and he actually looked excited(I loved when he asked Rosalee what they were going to name him) so I would like to think that he actually had some kind of friendship with Adalind. And he clearly loves kids, he loves Nick, so he’s one of the few that would gladly accept Adalind if she made Nick happy, just like that. I mean at the end rosalee and Monroe were friends with her too, but they were kinda judgy when she became a henxenbiest again. But tbh Rosalee was amazing with her at the end of s4(after she got over the shock) and the beginning of s5; and Monroe was great with Nick, he tried not to be too nosy but still gave Nick openings to talk about how he felt abou her, and never did they say something like “how can you?” or anything like that. Sorry for ranting btw 🥴 but I don’t have anyone to talk about Grimm or Nadalind 😔

Okay, okay, specific things here... (This got long so I’m putting it under the cut.)

Nadalind was an interesting ship for me, because I knew people who watched Grimm before me. I knew going into it that they’d get together, and after the Season 3 finale, I just went... “No. Nope. Nope noope nope. No way.” Then Season Four happened. Nick went through So Much Pain, and he lost So Much. Then Season Five happened, and Kelly and Adalind were the ones making him smile.

After the little time jump in Season Five, I was completely sold. All it took was... Maybe two scenes of them being Soft together before I went, “... Sure. At this point, why not? Just Let Him Be Happy.”

And honestly, they were were soft and adorable after that. And I loved them.

You know I would have loved to see Bud with Kelly-

1. For some reason, I thought this meant Nick’s mother for SO LONG, and I was slightly thrown, but also completely here for the mental picture of Bud and Phoebe meeting Kelly and being intimidated by her but also kind of going, “Okay, you’re Nick’s mom? You’re our family now. Want some pie?” And her being... Baffled at first, and guarded, but they’re persistent, and somehow she finds herself relaxing around them, having tea... Maybe Phoebe actually teaches the poor woman how to cook. Anyway, I want that friendship now.

2. About the Kelly you Actually Meant... Yesss, I would have loved to see Bud babysitting Kelly and possibly Diana. And everyone expects him to be freaked out by Diana, because he’s kind of freaked out by everything (but he still does the Brave Thing, and I love him for it), but he just rolls with her, because one thing he is comfortable with is taking care of kids.

... This got off topic again, didn’t it?

YES, Bud watching Kelly would have been lovely.

Fair, although to me that felt less judgmental and more... “We’ve had good experiences with Juliette as a non-Hexenbiest and bad experiences with her as a Hexenbiest. We’ve had bad experiences with you as a Hexenbiest and good experiences now that you’re not. Are we about to go through This Again?”

Thissss. I talk a lot about how much I love that Rosalee and Monroe became the stability/support of the group, and this fits into that really well. Even after their bad experiences with Adalind, they trusted Nick, and when Adalind showed that she really had changed, they were willing to walk that road and trust her too.

Anyway, this is a long, roundabout way of saying please talk to me about Grimm, Anon. XD
