BAD MEDICINE ~Infectious teachers~ [PC GAME] Kashu Remu (Chemistry) Route Translations (Part 11)
MC’s name is retained as the original MC name Kawana Hina.
* Words within ‘   ‘ are spoken in English – *Spoiler free : Translations under cut! *T/N: So... its been 7 years since I started this? Wow. This project is old, this blog is old, I am old-
Prologue / Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9 / Part 10 / Part 11
Hina: I’m done preparing for tomorrow’s classes, and all my homework’s done too. I didn’t forget anything, did I?
Hina: Hmm… That should be all. I should turn in early so that I’m ready to face all the challenges ahead tomorrow.
Hina: (Haa… I wouldn’t be surprised if Kashu-sensei came up with something weird again tomorrow…)
Hina: (Or maybe it’s even odder if nothing strange were to happen.)
Hina: …I feel like I’ve gotten used to it, actually. Who knows if that’s actually a good thing though…
Hina: Huh? An Incoming call this late into the night? Wonder who?
Hina: And it’s from an unknown number…
Hina: (It’s not someone I know, but unknown numbers don’t usually call at this hour either.)
Hina: Hello? Um, who is this speaking…?
Kashu: …Yo.
Hina: That voice… K-Kashu-sensei!? Err, why do you have my number?
Kashu: I’m a teacher, you know?
Hina: So I’m aware, but that’s besides the matter. Can I help you with something? You don’t sound too good…
Kashu: Ahaha, really? I see. You can tell, huh…
Hina: Kashu-sensei…? Did something happen?
Kashu: Yeah… guess it doesn’t work out after all. I don’t know why, though.
Hina: Um… sensei? What exactly do you mean by that…?
Kashu: The medicine, of course.
Hina: Oh…
Kashu: Ahaha, do you still remember what I’m talking about?
Hina: Of course I do. There’s no way I could ever forget.
Hina: (But even I know that he can’t possibly make a medicine that’s capable of reviving the dead.)
Hina: (I’m sure he knows that too, but why’s he still persisting till now…?)
Kashu: I’m giving up on it.
Hina: What?
Kashu: I mean, it’s all useless isn’t it? She won’t come back no matter what I do.
Kashu: You must think so too, don’t you?
Hina: Sensei…
Kashu: Thank you, for holding back on my account. I’m sure you must have wanted to say it.
Kashu: And thank you for playing along with me…
Hina: Erm…?
Hina: (He’s acting strangely… and he sounds really sad…)
Kashu: Also, I realized something..
Kashu: If I can’t revive her, then all I have to do is to join her on the other side.
Hina: W-What!? But she’s already…
Kashu: Yup, so all I have to do is to die. Simple, isn’t it?
Hina: What are you talking about!? You can’t do that! That’s stupid!
Kashu: ……
Kashu: Come on now, don’t say that.
Kashu: I mean… that’s the last option I have. It’s so lonely living alone like this…
Hina: Kashu-sensei! Wait… Hang on!
Kashu: For my last hoorah, perhaps the school would be best. I’m thinking of jumping off the roof there.
Kashu: Hehe, this school was pretty fun while it lasted.
Hina: Hey! Listen to me!
Hina: If it really was that fun, then wouldn’t you want to live!? You can still turn around now!
Kashu: It was fun, but also lonely. It is so lonely being all by your lonesome, you know?
Hina: You’re not alone! You know that, don’t you!?
Hina: Please, just consider those around you! Don’t say that you want to die…
Kashu: I’ve already made my decision.
Hina: You can’t do it! Sensei!
Kashu: I’m really happy that you helped me out with all my experiments.
Kashu: I really did feel a little less lonely during those times. I even thought that perhaps I wasn’t that alone in this world.
Kashu: So, thank you.
Hina: !!!
Hina: Sensei? Sensei! Kashu-sensei!? He hung up on me!!!
Hina: (I can’t just sit back and do nothing… I need to get to school and stop him!)
Mother: Eh!? W-Where are you going in the middle of the night!?
Hina: School! I need to get there, now!!!
Mother: Huh? Take care on your way there, you hear me!?
———————————————
Hina: Haa, haa, haah…!
Hina: (Since when was the school this far away!?)
Hina: (I don’t know if I’ll make it at this rate… Please let me be there in time!)
Hina: ……!?
Hina: D-Don’t tell me…
Hina: (I’ve gotta hurry!!!)

Choice B: Peek into the school’s courtyard
Hina: Huh? Wait a second...There’s someone collapsed in the School’s Courtyard! K-Kashu-sensei!?
Kashu: ………...
Hina: Sensei! Kashu-sensei!! Are you alright?
Hina: (He looks a little pallid? Did he overdo-it with the experiments and collapsed in exhaustion!?)
Hina: Sensei! Get it together!
Kashu: …...Ugh...
Hina: Kashu-sensei!?
Kashu: …...Zzz.
Kashu: Zzz…...Zzz…...
Kashu: Mmnghh~...I can’t eat...any...more…
Kashu: ...Zzz...
Hina: Wha…? He’s only sleep-talking...That surprised me.
Hina: Actually...why is he even asleep in the School’s Courtyard?
Hina: Sensei! Please wake up!
Kashu: ...Mnngh...
Hina: Sleep in the Infirmary if you must. Actually, isn’t the Chemistry Preparation Room literally your home?
Hina: Go home and sleep properly at least. You’re going to catch a cold sleeping in a place like this.
Kashu: ...Zzz.
Hina: Hmm...He’s not waking up at all. Haa...Guess I don’t have a choice then.
Hina: I just have to keep an eye on him until some other teacher notices him, right? Well, seeing as how lunch break has only just started...
Kashu: Mumble, mumble...Ehehe...fufu...
Hina: (His sleeping face looks really cute...Is it because he has a baby face? He looks really happy...)
Hina: (...I think he really did continue experiment upon experiment tirelessly to make the medicine to revive that person...)
Kashu: ―—You saw.
Hina: !
Kashu: You saw the face I was making just now, right~?
Kashu: Upsie daisy! Mornin~
Kashu: Haha~ You did see it, didn't you? My sle-ping fa-ce♪
Hina: S-Since when were you awake!? Were you just pretending to be asleep!?
Kashu: I just woke up like any normal person. I guess you could say that I woke up because I felt your eyes on me~?
Hina: There’s no way that’s the case! I wasn’t staring at you so hard that it’d wake you up...or so, I think.
Kashu: See~? So you were watching me after all!
Hina: Of course I’d see you since you were asleep in the School Courtyard! ...I was worried.
Kashu: Yup, Yup, I bet you were. I mean, you were really panicked and all that.
Hina: ...Eh? You knew that I was panicking?
Kashu: Yup! Of course I do! Ehehe!
Hina: Then...that means that you were faking it after all.
Kashu: Oops. Did I just let it slip~? I mean the Courtyard’s huge and the weather’s great, so I thought that it’d be nice to bask in the sun!
Kashu: I didn’t have any classes in fourth period so I was just taking a nap~
Kashu: The experiment failed yet again, so I thought that maybe a break like this was what I needed~
Hina: Sensei...
Kashu: It’s pretty great sleeping under the great sun~ Yes, it actually feels really good~
Kashu: And so, I was just about to consider getting up when you came bounding by all frantic...
Kashu: I was a little happy about that so I tried staying put for a moment more♪
Hina: So you aren’t feeling unwell or anything, right?
Kashu: Nope! I’m not feeling bad at all. I’m as peppy as I come, a whooping 100 percent!
Kashu: I’m getting into an increasingly good mood now that I’ve had an afternoon nap~
Kashu: ...So, were you really staring that intently at my face~?
Hina: N-No I wasn’t. Not till that extent.
Kashu: Eh~ Really~? I think you definitely did though~
Hina: Just a little.
Kashu: Just a little? I’m sure you stared much, much more, didn’t you?
Hina: L-Like I said, it was just for a little bit!
Kashu: Hmm~? There’s no helping it, I guess. Guess I’ll just leave it at that♪
Kashu: You’re pretty stubborn, aren’t you~? But, but~ That also makes for an interesting part of you♪
Kashu: I’m sure we’re really compatible with each other~ ...Aw, come on! Don’t make a face like that~ Please~?
Kashu: Oh, right. Come here, come here. Come on closer; over here~
Hina: (Whoa!?)
Kashu: Yup, yup. Just like that. There we go.
Kashu: Ehehe~ Lap pillow! Good niiiight. Wake me up before your lunch break ends, okay~?
Hina: Sensei! W-What do you think you’re doing!?
Kashu: Huh? I mean, you were already planning to watch after me until your lunch break ended, no~?
Kashu: I heard everything you were mumbling about to yourself just now.
Hina: That might be true, but still! Even so, this situation is a little-
Kashu: I’ve always longed for a lap pillow. So I just wanted to experience it.
Kashu: Don’t worry, it’ll be fine. No one ever comes to the School Courtyard during lunch break.
Kashu: See~? You’re the only one who noticed me sleeping out here, right~?
Kashu: This place is in one of the corners, so it won’t normally fall into your line of sight unless you know where to look.
Kashu: That’s why I was glad that you actually noticed me. Get it~?
Hina: That’s...well, a little, yes.
Kashu: Yup, yup! I’m glad you understand! Good night then! Zzz.
Kashu: Zzz...Zzz...
Hina: ………..
Hina: (I...I really don’t get him at all! Not just one or two little things; it’s him as a whole!)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Hina: What should I do now?
Choice A: Play catch Choice B: Peek into the school’s courtyard

BAD MEDICINE ~Infectious teachers~ [PC GAME] Kashu Remu (Chemistry) Route Translations (Part 9)
MC’s name is retained as the original MC name Kawana Hina.
* Words within ‘   ‘ are spoken in English – *Spoiler free : Translations under cut!
Prologue / Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9
Choice A: Play catch
Kashu: Let’s play catch today~
Kashu: Come on~ What are you spacing out for~? Of course it’s part of the Chemistry Club’s activities~!
Hina: Uh, exactly what does catch have to do with the Chemistry Club…?
Kashu: Well, that’s...
Kashu: Well, don’t worry about the trivial things♪
Hina: ………...
Hina: (I should have already left the Chemistry Club by now; strange. Did he perhaps not accept my club resignation form? I bet that’s the case here…)
Hina: (Besides, considering what happened before, I don’t think that I’m in the position to refuse either…)
Kashu: Hey~ Can’t we? Let’s play catch~
Kashu: The experiment we did before didn’t turn out all so well, you see? So I thought that it would be a good change of pace to take down and record other kinds of data instead~!
Hina: Experiment? You mean...that medicine?
Kashu: Yup, that one! I’m really troubled that it’s been nothing but failures~
Kashu: That’s why, let’s do a new experiment! I’ll be the demon chasing you! Okay?
Kashu: Oh! Did you want to be the demon? I don’t mind being chased if you’re the one doing the chasing~
Kashu: But in exchange, I’ll do my best to set up a strange trap!
Hina: ...I’ll run.
Kashu: Eh~ You sure? Well, both are the same to me anyway. Let’s start!
Hina: Alright...
Kashu: You’ll do it~!? Yay~!! Thank you~!
Kashu: Then, allow me to explain the rules! Ehe~!
Kashu: The field will be the entire school compound. Everywhere’s fair play except for the places where entry is barred~
Kashu: I’ll start chasing after you 10 seconds after you run~
Hina: I get only 10 seconds!?
Kashu: Hm~? Is 10 seconds too short? Of course not! How can that be? You’re just overthinking it~
Kashu: I mean, you’re younger so this time frame should be perfect for you!
Hina: That...might be true, but still!
Kashu: It’s fine, it’s fine~ I’m always cooped up in the labs, you see~?
Kashu: So, I’m sure that my physical capabilities aren’t as strong as yours! I might be on the weaker side~
Kashu: Now then~ Let’s start the countdown! Okay, please do your best to run away, okay~?
Hina: Eh? We’ve already started!? I’ve yet to prepare my heart for this...
Kashu: Oh yes, you can’t run in the hallways. The courtyard’s fair game though~
Kashu: Oh! You can run in the gymnasium and the rooftop too~ Now, let us begin~! Ten, nine, eight...
Hina: (I’ve gotta run, in any case!)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Hina: Haa, haa, haaah…S-Sensei…? What do you mean...you don’t...have the stamina for this!? ...Haa...haa…
Kashu: Eh~? I really don’t~ I mean, it took me this long to finally catch you~!
Kashu: Ahaha~ That was really fun though~! We’ve really chased each other round in circles all over the school~!
Kashu: It’s not bad to have such a thorough work out once in a good while~ It’s really refreshing!
Hina: I’m...definitely going to get muscle aches tomorrow...
Kashu: Eh? Why~? That’s weird; you’ve been taking physical activity classes every week, right~?
Kashu: Ah~ But it was still really fun! I’ve not played catch in such a long time~
Kashu: She’s the only one I’ve ever played together with the same manner I did with you~
Hina: Huh? She…? You mean, that girl?
Kashu: Hm? Ahh…You remembered? Hehe.
Kashu: Yeah, that’s right. She was the only one who was willing to play with me back in that orphanage...
Kashu: We didn’t have much toys to speak of, so we all mostly played catch and hide-and-seek.
Kashu: It was really fun. It’s fun...to not be alone.
Hina: Sensei...
Kashu: ...Now then! I’m amply re-energized right now so let’s end the club activities here for today~☆
Kashu: Oh, but before that! Maybe I’ll give you an after-service for working so hard!
Kashu: Hmmm...would this place do? Yeah, I suppose so. It’s at the right height too~
Kashu: Okay, sit on the step here~ It’s fine, so just do it~
Kashu: Okay, preparations are all done! Here we go then~
Hina: …...!? Sensei...!?
Kashu: You said that your muscles are aching from all the chasing and running we did, so I’m guessing that it must be the muscles on your legs? Your calf, perhaps~?
Hina: (He’s massaging my leg!?)
Kashu: Whoa, whoa!? Don’t start struggling all of a sudden~!
Kashu: I’m not playing a prank on you or anything~ Didn’t I say that this was an after-service?
Kashu: Come on~  Weren’t you the one complaining about how your muscles would definitely be hurting come tomorrow~?
Kashu: You see~ The thing about muscle aches is that the symptoms will become much more manageable if you massage it in advance~
Hina: Um, Kashu-sensei? It’s fine, I can do that myself!
Kashu: It won’t disappear completely, but it’s still much better than having to suffer the full-blow of it, don’t you think?
Hina: (He’s not even listening to me!)
Kashu: So just stay still~ Let’s see...
Hina: Eek!!
Hina: (That tickles!)
Kashu: Around here? How’s it feel? A pleasant pain?
Kashu: It won’t do if it hurts~ Putting too little strength into it won’t cut it either~ This is really hard~
Hina: It’s ticklish…!
Kashu: Eh~? It’s ticklish? Then that’s no good either. Should I put in more strength?
Hina: Uh, ummmm!!
Kashu: Like I said~ Don’t struggle. Do you want your muscle ache to get worse?
Kashu: Yes, now that’s a good girl. Stay still, okay? Oh, but please relax and don’t stiffen up.
Kashu: Hmm, here we go...how does this feel?
Hina: It feels...pleasant.
Kashu: Yup, this is good. Just enough strength to cause a pleasant sort of pain~ I’ll just stick to using this much strength then!
Kashu: Pain, pain, fly away~♪ May the muscle ache disappear somewhere! May it go to Kakeru-kun~!
Kashu: Because there are still many, many more experiments that I wish to carry out with you!
Kashu: So, this muscle ache of yours has to hurry and disappear♪
Kashu: ...Because you’re the only one who knows my secret and I’m the only one who knows yours...
Hina: ………...
Kashu: ...Okay~ I suppose this does it? How do you feel? Better?
Hina: Y-Yes. Um...Thank you.
Kashu: I see, that’s good to hear♪
Kashu: Oh, right! How about I massage your shoulders too since I’m at it?
Kashu: I could add on a special service to the after service if you wish~
Hina: N-No thanks! I’m fine! Thank you for the offer, but I’ll have to refrain!
Kashu: Ehh~ You sure…? How boring~
Kashu: Well, whatever! It’s about time school’s over anyway~
Kashu: Good work today, Kawana-san♪ You’re free to go home now~ See you~!
Kashu: I wonder what I should do~ I’m in really good spirits right now so maybe I’ll continue with my experiment~♪
Hina: (I feel like I don’t ever want to play another round of catch in my entire life, but...)
Hina: (I suppose it’s fine if it served as an ample distraction for him...)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Hina: What should I do now?
Choice A: Play catch  Choice B: Peek into the school’s courtyard

BAD MEDICINE ~Infectious teachers~ [PC GAME] Kashu Remu (Chemistry) Route Translations (Part 8)
MC’s name is retained as the original MC name Kawana Hina.
* Words within ‘   ‘ are spoken in English – *Spoiler free : Translations under cut!
Prologue / Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8
Hina: Kashu-sensei.  It's Kawana.
Kashu: It's open~ Come in, come in!
Hina: Please pardon the intrusion.
Kashu: I've been waiting for you! I've got a lack of manpower here, see.
Kashu: Sorry to be putting you to quick use the moment you arrive here, but could you fetch the beaker and test-tube over there for me?
Hina: Of course. Here.
Hina: Will that be all?
Kashu: Yup.  You can just leave those there.
Hina: Alright, got it.
Hina: (Hmm...  He seems to be using equipment for normal experiments.  Perhaps I'm here to help him with more mundane matters?)
Hina: (Although I honestly can neither fathom nor imagine him conducting any normal experiments. I wonder what experiment he's busy with right now?)
Kashu: Hmm… It ended up in a failure the last time I tried to use this ratio.
Kashu: I wonder which component I should cut down on to increase the chances of success by even a single percent…?
Kashu: It’s subtle, really. Still, should I use this to stabilize the formula? But...
Hina: (I’m curious as to what he’s experimenting with, but I suppose he’d like to be fully-focused on his task on hand given how serious he looks. I’ll leave my questions for later then.)
Hina: (And, well...I think this is actually the first time I’ve ever seen him so serious.)
Hina: ………...
Hina: Kyaa!?
Kashu: Aww~ I did it again, didn’t I. Sorry, did I scare you?
Hina: Is that… a failure?
Kashu: I think the ratio of chemicals I used for this is a little off?
Kashu: How strange… Maybe I made a mistake in my calculations?
Kashu: Mm...
Hina: Um...I can help you, if you let me. That’s why I’m here, right?
Kashu: Eh? Oh, yes.
Kashu: Then, could you help me watch over the contents of this flask here?
Kashu: The one I’m heating up right now.
Hina: Oh, sure! This one, right? What a colour this mixture has...
Kashu: Hehe~ Pretty, isn’t it?
Hina: It is?
Kashu: It’s going to become a much prettier colour afterwards, so do tell me when that happens.
Hina: What colour is this supposed to become?
Kashu: Transparent.
Hina: Eh?
Kashu: Colourless; transparent. It’s the most beautiful colour in this world.
Hina: It’s beautiful?
Kashu: Yup!
Kashu: It’s a colour that doesn’t leave any stains behind. I like that sort of thing, you see.
Hina: (Sensei…)
Hina: (...Huh. So he is capable of holding conversations like this.)
Hina: B-By the way!
Kashu: Hmm~? What~?
Hina: What kind of experiment are you actually doing now?
Kashu: Hehe, you wanna know~? I’m experimenting to make a medicine~
Hina: Medicine? Wha… Don’t tell me it’s another one of those that makes you laugh uncontrollably…?
Kashu: Ahaha, of course not~ I can make that without having to experiment anymore!
Hina: (If so, then what’s all of this for?)
Kashu: ...Well...
Kashu: I don’t mind telling you what it really is.
Kashu: You see...
Kashu: I’ve got someone who’s really important to me. A really, really, important girl.
Hina: (I see. I guess I didn’t really expect that.)
Kashu: Of course, not as an experimental subject, but… Well, I’m sure you know what I’m trying to say.
Hina: (He’s talking about his lover, I’m sure.)
Kashu: But...
Kashu: That person has already passed away.
Hina: Eh…?
Kashu: Strange, isn’t it? They were just within reach not long ago, and now, they’ve gone and disappeared somewhere far away.
Kashu: Right… I did say before that I didn’t know what loneliness or whatnot felt like, didn’t I?
Kashu: Maybe, perhaps...That might have been loneliness that I felt back then.
Kashu: No, I was lonely. That must definitely have been sadness I felt back then; I’m lonely...
Kashu: ………...
Hina: Sensei… S-Sorry for asking.
Hina: I didn’t know that you had gone through something like that and said some pretty unnecessary things...
Kashu: Not at all; it’s fine. You don’t need to apologize for it.
Kashu: ………...
Kashu: But...
Kashu: I never gave up ever since then.
Kashu: I...I will revive her.
Kashu: And so, we’re making that very medicine of revival right now♪
Hina: Wha-
Hina: (C-Can something like that even be made? Actually, is it even okay to be doing something like that? I’m sure that’s not alright no matter what world you’re in...)
Hina: (But…)
Kashu: Heh, it’s almost akin to a dream, right? Even so, that’s a dream that I can’t bear to let go of.
Kashu: Hey, will you believe me? That I can do this and fulfil this dream of mine?
Hina: Err...well...
Hina: (There’s no way in hell you can make something like that. It’s basically impossible!)
Hina: (I’m sure you’re aware of it too. I mean, you did say that this was akin to a dream after all.)
Hina: (But...He might have been keeping this all to himself, all bottled up inside, because he knows that this dream of his is definitely impossible to attain despite how much he’s putting his all into it.)
Hina: (If that’s so, then I have no right to tell him otherwise...)
Hina: ...If...I’m sure that you can do it, if it was you, Kashu-sensei.
Kashu: Really? Do you really think I can?
Hina: Yes.
Kashu: ...I see. Thanks.
Hina: ………...
Kashu: Alright! I should do my best~ Hehehe~ No matter what hurdles come my way, no matter how hard things are; I’ll burn them all down♪
Hina: Sensei...
Hina: (I’ve always thought of him as someone I’d never understand; someone who’d do everything and anything in order to carry out his experiments up till now, but...)
Hina: (I see now, that he’s just a normal person like any of us. He has a lot of emotional baggage, including his sadness.)
Hina: (...Throwing himself into something he knows is impossible and even admitting that it’s as such. I guess he has his own weak points too, huh...)
Kashu: Hey. hey~ How’s the colour going~?
Hina: Huh? Oh, right. It’s still coloured right now though… Wait- Huh? The color is all gone!?
Kashu: Really!? Okay, hurry and pass that over~
Hina: Y-Yes!
Hina: (...Yeah. I’ll do everything in my ability to help him.)
Hina: (Because that’s all I can do.)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Hina: What should I do now?
Choice A: Play catch Choice B: Peek into the school’s courtyard

Prologue / Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7
Hina: Haa...Haa...
Hina: (Why in the world do I always have to run from Kashu-sensei during break time!?
Hina: (I have to make haste but I can’t run. No, I musn’t!)
Kashu: Where-o-where are you~? Run now, run along♪
Hina: Eek! He’s chasing after me!
Hina: (I’ve heard rumours that there’s a locked room down this path…)
Hina: There’s still now way I’d be able to get in there...right?
Hina: Huh? It’s open…
Hina: (There’s nowhere else I can hide so I can’t afford to think too much.)
Hina: ...Phew. Still, what’s this room for?
Hina: It’s rumoured to be locked and non-accessible, but there’s a surprising lack of dust in here,
Hina: (There are also numerous test-tubes and beakers lined up on the shelves… Medicinal bottles too.)
Hina: (Could this be the chemistry preparation room?)
Kashu: Huh~ You were over here? Found you~♪
Hina: Wha- K-Kashu-sensei!?
Kashu: You can’t do that, you know? Humans are beings who are meant to be chased once they start running off~♪
Hina: Still, isn’t it time to cut it out!? Why do you have to tail me around everyday?
Kashu: Eh~? Didn’t I already tell you why?♪
Hina: Yes you did, but still!
Kashu: Hm, you’re so snappy today. Are you tired?
Kashu: Sweet things work wonders when your energy levels are low. Here, I’ll give you a sugarcube♪
Hina: Thank yo- Not!!
Hina: Why are there sugar cubes on the shelves of a supposedly locked room? Actually, is it even okay for us to be eating it like this?
Xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Kashu: This is my house though?
Hina: ...Your...what?
Kashu: So, it’s a given that I know where everything is. And that sugarcube’s mine as well♪
Hina: Your house is in within the school compound…?
Kashu: Why are you so surprised about that? Oh, is it the first time you’ve been to a guy’s house?
Kashu: Why, you must be embarrassed☆ How adorable♪
Hina: No, no, I’m shocked, actually. So there’s no way I’m nervous or embarrassed!
Kashu: Eh~ Really? How boring~
Hina: Plus, this place really looks like a chemistry preparation room even though you claim that it’s your house…
Kashu: Hehe, isn’t it all fine and dandy? I’ve gotten the school’s permission.
Hina: Can you even do that?
Kashu: I have access to mailing here too. The couriers can come all the way up here and look, the residential plate’s over here!
Kashu: It’s also registered under the country. Great, isn’t it? Ehehe.
Hina: R-Right.
Hina: (Is that something to be bragging about…?  Right, he’s as off-point as usual that I still can’t understand him. Nothing new, really.)
Hina: Um, doesn’t this worry your family?
Hina: (I’m sure they must be worried if one of the members of their family’s forever stuck in school, right?)
Hina: (He’s still young too… So I assume that his parents are still alive.)
Kashu: Family~? They’re living together with me. See? Pyonkichi-chan!
Hina: No, not him.
Kashu: You know… Aren’t you getting a little too familiar with my Pyonkichi-chan?
Hina: Huh?
Kashu: You should call him by his name! Isn’t that right, pyonkichi-chan?
Hina: (Oh right, he named the stuffed toy.)
Hina: (Wait, this is no time to be convinced by him to do such a thing!)
Hina: I’m…well aware of that fact and shall be careful to do so from now on.
Hina: So...What about your normal human family?
Kashu: Human?
Kashu: Don’t have any.
Kashu: I grew up in an orphanage so I don’t have anyone like that.
Hina: Oh...
Choice A: When did you end up in an orphanage?
Kashu: Hmm...I wonder when? I was already there before I realized.
Hina: I see...
Kashu: Right, right, listen! The orphanage was actually a really good place!
Choice B: I’m sorry...
Kashu: Why are you apologizing? What kind of reaction’s that supposed to be?
Hina: Huh? I mean...I obviously stepped on some toes I definitely shouldn’t have.
Kashu: Why? The orphanage was a really good place!
Kashu: They didn’t mind even if I spent all year, all 365 days on experiments! It was really comfortable back there.
Kashu: But they did give me the boot once I finished my studies though.
Hina: R-Right. Um...The fact that you live down here means that you’re all alone at night, right?
Kashu: I have pyonkichi-chan with me~
Hina: That’s true and all, but… Uh, there are no other humans here, I gather?
Kashu: Well, I suppose that’s how it is in the end.
Hina: Isn’t it lonely to be all alone in school at night?
Kashu: Lonely?
Hina: Yes.
Kashu: ………...
Kashu: What’s a lonely?
Hina: Wha…?
Kashu: I don’t know. Yeah, I don’t understand what that is.
Hina: I...I see.
Hina: (He was always alone, brought up in an orphanage. He’s been alone all his life and yet he doesn’t know what loneliness means…?)
Hina: (I see. I suppose that’s why he’s fine all by his lonesome. Is this why he’s seemingly uncaring about the others as well?)
Hina: (...But wait, this and that are two totally different can of worms! What am I to do if I’m swayed by his words now!?)
Hina: A-Anyway!
Kashu: Yes~?
Hina: Stop chasing after me all around school.
Kashu: Don’t wanna~♪
Hina: There’s already a rumour floating about the classes that you’re stalking me.
Hina: I dare say you’d be troubled as well if word of this spreads to the higher ups of the school.
Kashu: Hmm? I’m not doing anything wrong so that should be fine.
Choice A: I should give up...
Kashu: Oh, you look as if it’s finally struck your notice.
Hina: I-I didn’t!
Hina: Anyway, please cease this.
Kashu: Eh~ Then...
Choice B: What can I do to make you stop?
Kashu: I see. So you intend to compromise upon terms now.
Kashu: Hmmm, well...
Kashu: Hmm~
Kashu: Will you help me out with my experiments then?
Kashu: I’ll stop monitoring you if you agree to help me.
Hina: I don’t mind helping you out if you have any use for me.
Hina: (It’s good that I can shake him off my tail with that, but… What exactly can I do to help him?)
Kashu: We’ve come to a conclusion then! Nfufu, this is gonna be interesting~♪
Hina: I’ll...be in your care from now on?
Kashu: Yup, of course~♪
Hina: (...I suppose that’s okay for now. Yeah, at least he’d no longer be chasing me around with this.)
Hina: Um, I suppose I’ll take my leave now?
Kashu: Okie dokie♪ See ya~
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hina: Phew...
Kuzuha: Hm? What, aren’t you the transfer student?
Hina: Oh! Kuzuha-sensei!
Kuzuha: I never would have thought that you’d come out of that room… You’re seemingly more liked by Remu than I thought. That’s an amazing feat in and of itself.
Hina: You know what this place really is…?
Kuzuha: You mean, if this place’s Remu’s home?
Hina: Uh, yes.
Hina: (Not just that, but… I can’t really word it well enough.)
Hina: (I can’t exactly ask him if he knows about Kashu-sensei’s past, can I?)
Kuzuha: I’m aware of some things, for starters. Although, not many people know about this.
Kuzuha: The other person who knows about this is the headmaster of course, since he had to give his permission.
Hina: That little people?
Kuzuha: Mmhm.
Hina: (But, why…? I only stumbled upon it by pure accident, but…)
Hina: (There was really no need for him to have informed me that it was really the place he called home…)
Kuzuha: That’s why I’m telling you, it’s an amazing feat.
Hina: I...don’t really know about that.
Kuzuha: Well, I don’t know about that either.  Remu’s also a pretty complex dude despite how he looks.
Hina: I’m well aware of that.
Hina: (Is he complimenting me? Still…)
Hina: (Urk, that punishment he forewarned me about back then by acting out part of it was really spine-chilling.)
Kuzuha: Well, good luck I suppose. See you.
Hina: R-Right. Please excuse me.
Hina: (What do I need that good luck for?)

BAD MEDICINE ~Infectious teachers~ [PC GAME] Kashu Remu (Chemistry) Route Translations (Part 4)
MC’s name is retained as the original MC name Kawana Hina.
* Words within ‘   ‘ are spoken in English – *Spoiler free : Translations under cut!
Prologue / Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4
Choice B: Go treasure hunting.
Kashu: Oh! There you are~ I waited a long, long time for you. Let’s hurry there now that you’re here!
Hina: Okay, where to?
Kashu: Hm? Why, a treasure hunt of course! You’re now a treasure hunter!
Kashu: You’re going to find the treasure hidden within the school compound. It’s one of the chemistry club’s activities, you see~
Kashu: Huh, you don’t believe me? That’s no good~ No can’t do!
Kashu: There’s actually a treasure buried within the school compound!
Hina: I still think that’s highly impossible though...
Kashu: Ehh~ Why? Why would you say something like that? Hey, tell me. Why? Why would you?
Hina: Oh! Did you bury it somewhere beforehand? If so, then...
Kashu: ‘Course not! Won’t I just find it right away if I did that?
Kashu: Come on hurry up, let’s go already! It’s really exciting!
Xxxxxxxxxxxx
Kashu: Now, where-o-where is it~♪
Kashu: My cute, cute treasure♪ Hurry and come on out~♪
Kashu: AHHHH!!
Hina: Wha-!? W-What’s wrong!?
Kashu: Yay, I found it! See? Lookie here!
Kashu: I found a snail~! Ahaha! How adorable~
Hina: Congratulations… I guess?
Kashu: Yes! Thank you for congratulating me~ I really do love snails, you see!
Kashu: Don’t you think it’s utterly adorable how they melt when you sprinkle salt on them? They must be shy!
Hina: ...They’re cute? Shy? Is that so...
Kashu: I suppose the unique-shape of their shells piques my interest as well.
Kashu: I get all giddy with excitement when I can tell the difference between left and right-orientated swirl patterns in their shell! And there are also brightly-coloured ones from the tropical areas to boot!
Hina: I never knew there were others… I thought they were all brown out there.
Kashu: They come in yellow, purple, pink and many more~! Sadly, the snails in japan are all brown and aren’t that interesting.
Kashu: I won’t ever get bored of watching these creatures. The best thing I like about them is how they taste, though.
Hina: How they...taste?
Kashu: Aren’t escargots delicious? I love how the insides of snails taste like!
Kashu: It’s also really interesting when they duck their eyes back inside ♪
Kashu: Have you ever tried poking them?
Hina: No, I haven’t.
Kashu: Eh, you haven’t? How boring~
Kashu: It’s really interesting so you should try it!
Kashu: They’re so cute when they shake and tremble before darting back inside their shell! Well, that’s no matter.
Kashu: Oh, yes! What happens when you’re poked and prodded at!? Ta-da!
Hina: Uh… I’m sorry, but I don’t really get you?
Kashu: I’m curious! Hey, tell me about it. Oh, I suppose I could just show it to you instead.
Kashu: Just like this! Poke, poke, pokity poke~♪
Hina: …………!?
Kashu: Hmm? That’s a pretty slow reaction. Are you not sensitive?
Hina: Hey, wait a minute- Don’t go poking at me!
Xxxxxxxxxxx
Kashu: Ahaha, she ran away~♪ But, but, but! It’s interesting because she’s a little different from the snails.
Kashu: You were slow to react but you do make a quick getaway, don’t you?
Kashu: Yup, that part of you is just like a snail~ I deem this a new discovery!
Kashu: But I still do want to observe you for a little while longer. Hey, hey! Come back~
Kashu: I can’t get the data I need if you’re hiding down there forever~
Hina: I-I don’t want to! You’ll only just poke and prod at me again, won’t you!?
Kashu: ‘Course I will! Eh… You aren’t coming back over here? I suppose there’s no helping it then.
Kashu: Okay, caught you!☆
Hina: Kyaa!?
Kashu: Ehehe, I’ll just have to come over and get you if you aren’t coming! Charge forth~!
Kashu: You ran after I poked insistently at your cheeks so… What should I do next? Should I poke your earlobes next?
Kashu: Or should I pull them instead? Will you cease running if I do that?
Hina: Y-You can’t do that! Neither of them, actually! You’re not allowed to!
Kashu: Ehh~ I can’t do that either? Then what do you suggest?
Kashu: I can neither poke nor pull at it...
Kashu: Oh! Patting’s fine, isn’t it?  What will you do if I pat your head~?
Kashu: Okay! Let’s try it out!
Hina: Wha-!?
Kashu: Ah- Stop running away from me~!
Hina: Forgive me already, Kashu-sensei!
Kashu: Ehh~ You can’t stomach any more? Alright. We’ll end here for the day then Ooh, I got some real good data today♪
Kashu: Alrightie~ The treasure hunt continues! I wonder what we’ll find!?
Hina: (Really! What do you still want from me!?)
xxxxxxxxxxxx
Kashu: Hmm...We didn’t find the treasure yet. What a pity, how sad.
Kashu: But I guess all’s well and good since I did get some data~ Yup, what we did was not all for naught!
Hina: Really? All we ever found was insects, leaves, flowers and the like.
Kashu: Yup! It was all super duper meaningful! I’m satisfied with our work! Time to get back then~!
Hina: (I have no idea if the data he collected earlier will ever be of use. Plus, I don’t really understand much about that treasure he was going on and on about either.)
Hina: (Yeah… I really don’t understand him all that well)
Xxxxxxxxxx
What should I do now?
Choice A: Speed-eating competition! Choice B: Go treasure hunting.
