There so many layers on this I’m really kicking myself 🦵🙇🏻‍♀️ for not taking process pics. This is my cover for @johannaclough #namelessartsjournal series. I started out with thin chipboard and reinforced it with thicker cardboard. I then covered it in fabric and collaged over it with scraps of paper. Then a layer of grey acrylic. Then a layer of fiber paste and stencils. Then a layer of brown paint. Then an layer of gold crackle paint and finally the grey/green/black paint. Whoa. It’s a wonder the cardboard held up.
