May has passed so fast! Here are my goals and intentions for June.

Honestly, I’m already in my 30s, but I’m aspiring to go to university and study creative writing, so I’ve been studying hard lately.

English is not my first language, but I’m trying to write in English and create content as well.

Everything feels crazy, but I can’t stop myself anymore because my heart is beating and filled with hope 🤍

I believe it’s never too late to start learning something new.

Sorry I’ve been absent here lately.

I’ve been roaming through other social media and blog platforms, searching for a new space to share my writing.

But in the end, I realized this is the best place for me to immerse myself deeply.

I love the mood of Tumblr girls, and the creativity of Tumblr users. It feels completely different from other writing platforms like Medium or Substack.

I’m not here to write article tips, how-tos, or toxic headlines.

I just want to share little fragments of my life—like seeing a beautiful dog, eating some strange but wonderful food in Australia, or studying so hard that I collapse into sleep.

I also want to feel connected—with people who are studying, writing, simply living.

The casual, quiet mood of this place speaks to me in a way nowhere else does.

I’ve been here for years, and I still want to stay. I started this blog back in 2020. My English was terrible back then.

But now, my next step is going to university to get a Master of Creative Writing.

This journey has taken me so far.

I’m grateful to live in an era where we can connect with each other across the world.

My English journey is just started.

But I have a lot of problems like a how to improve my listening skills, how to cover wide range of expressions.

And today, BBC news hit me. IT WAS TOO DIFFICULT to understand news for native speakers.

But I need to understand this level to take a creative writing course at uni. So I’m stick of high level English contents.

Honestly, I can’t see my future, where it the exit, when it ends. However I believe myself. I would reach unbelievable place.

I was involved in some work issues today, so even though I had planned a study schedule, I couldn’t get through most of it. I barely managed to do some vocabulary exercises, but I’m still feeling frustrated.

I’m writing this the next morning. Now, I’ve reset my mindset and am ready to enjoy the new day <3

I’m heading to a café to meet my friend, and I’ll also enjoy working from the library.

This Month’s Goal: Balancing Work and Learning

• Study English 1h/day

• Take action by leveraging my strengths

October was a mess. I couldn’t get anything done, and I ended up crying a lot.

Still, there were so many opportunities for self-growth, and I incorporated those into my lifestyle. So, not all bad.

However, I often felt like I was just smoldering, as if I hadn’t accomplished anything.

At the end of October, I was assigned the role of Head of Creative Development and Troubleshooting. I’m really excited about this role.

My company made a major decision to change its business policy, so this position is expected to be temporary. But the timing works well for me, as I already have plans for what I want to do next. Since I’m here in Sydney, I’d like to spend some time working in English as well.

Eventually, I’m back on track! I’ve been dealing with some work issues recently, and it’s been tough to manage my time. However, I’ve resolved most of the problems and feel much less overwhelmed. I’m starting to feel relieved.

I still feel unsatisfied with my study progress, but I think it’s improving day by day.

Long time no see!

I have a lot of updates about myself.

I’m currently living in Sydney and continue to work with Japanese clients while working from home.

However, I want to try working in Sydney as well, so I’m looking for a job now.

On the other hand, I still haven’t given up on my English journey.

I’m starting a new chapter!

New experiences are full of joy every time.

I joined new community recently and there is so comfortable.

The members have passion to learn languages and encourage each other, it looks as if real friend that they frequently meet in person.

I was so impressed with it.

But literally, this era’s friendship is changed. We can keep touch with each other online anytime anywhere. So I can connect wherever worldwide if only I use English.

We need to broad our world , right? 🤍

I’m gonna learn English more enthusiastically than so far.

How was going your 2023?

I haven't reflect yet actually, but I'd like to do until end of the year. I think not bad. So I anticipate thinking about it.

I watched YouTube videos by Yahoo! finance today.

It gives me profits that how to make 2024 personal fibancial plan.

In 2023,I set the goal that increasing salary as much as I can.

But 2024 will be changed. The year will be challenging year, so I`ll invest mself properly,save money for preparing my new goals.

I’m sorry I didn’t show up here for few days. I worked hard recently.

2023, I grew up and increased salary.

I achieved a lot of goals.

But I wasn't satisfy.

I started my English journey by December this year.

It's just begininng. However I realized that it must be tough way.

My goal places so long distance away.

Sometimes I feel dizzy this long way.

But I don't give up.

I will gain my dream next year.

I’m practicing speaking English recently, I realized the thing.

I really enjoy talking with English conversation tutors ever, but how are they?

They are professional teachers, so they can make exciting atmosphere. So I didn’t know I was so boring.

The start was self-education of English speaking. I spoke reflection of 2023 by myself for 10 minutes and recorded it.

After that, I listened to it and corrected my bad pronunciations and some errors of grammar.

It gave me a lot of inspirations. As the same time I understood how I was boring. And also there were many mistakes in my speaking.

I thought “can tutors understand what I talked about?”.

This events changed my mindset of speaking English. I got away my mind like a just studying as a student. I’d like to tell my story, my opinion as me.

Now I decided to face my tutors as me not being just “student”.

• The ugly house owner staying in the kitchen all day long

• Minor bugs wriggling on the tiles when I go to the kitchen at 5:00 a.m.

• Days when I procrastinate too much

• Realizing at 11:00 p.m. that I haven’t done any assignments

• Not accomplishing anything even though I declared I would

Things I Like

• Sunny mornings at 7:00 a.m.

• Summer vibes on a 28°C day

• When the house owner says hello to me — it feels like visiting my family home and seeing my mom

• Finding cute tiles with flower designs

• Spending time intentionally and completing all my study plans

• Chatting with colleagues, whether the topic is meaningful or just casual

Life lately: Reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.

I’ve finally settled on a new direction for my life. I didn’t expect it to happen this way, and I’m not quite ready to share it publicly yet—so please wait for the next announcement ♥

Anyway, my life has been super busy lately because of a short university course. I took a creative writing class for a month. But next week will be the last class. Everything is wrapping up in my working holiday life.

I spent slacking off today. I know I should have done more efficiently. But I wasn’t able to do.

I have anxiety recently because I need to be able to understand English very well to take a course of creative writing.

I don’t have enough ability now.

I’d like to express thoughts in my head in English. This helps me take the course.

Gradually, step by step.

I’m preparing new version of me

Now, new year is coming. I’m a little bit nervous , and so excited to welcome 2024.

It’s must be my challenge year, because I’m gonna go to Australia as a working holiday.

Before 2023, I had a dream that to be a translator. The reason why was I had a thought had held me back that I never become a writer in English. But during this year, it changed. I came up with beacon of hope by what my boyfriend said.

I know, it’s so long hard road to write in not mother-tongue languages even now.

However I would like to challenge, if even it is just a challenge.

So my writing journey will starts next year. It might be wonderful, awful ,sometimes meaningful. I’m so excited.
