I was trying to explain Nangong Pu She’s character to the husband last night, because I adore her so much for no real reason, and all I could say is:

the 5th episode of sword snow stride was way better than the previous ones, it finally delivered me some political drama and intricacies and it was overall quite well done. I still don't get how people get manipulated into killing someone without even knowing the mastermind / who are they doing it for, but I guess I have to watch more episodes to understand it.

like third ranked scholar lin's story doesn't add up at all for me, nor the one of the girl that accompanied him in the journey and was actually a spy following xu xiao's orders but idk, maybe I'm missing something here

so I watched the first 4 episodes of snow sword stride and it's quite enjoyable, it has strong joy of life vibes both in terms of storyline and zhang ruoyun's character. i don't quite get where are we heading towards but I'm not questioning much, also bc i truly started to like and understand jol towards the 10th episode lol, so i'll keep watching it and see if it's of my taste

so far i am in love with nangong pu she's character, she's faaaab!!!!! and I also like the girl squad xu feng nian keeps collecting, love me some amazing female characters surrounding the male lead and being his protection squad <3
