Osira is a Phase 1 Nanotype that was created by Neuronet . She was one of the human volunteers that the nanobots reacted badly to and attempted to destroy her from the inside until a dampening module was attached to her head. Along with Iris, Osira devised a plan on breaking out and bringing who they could with them. She snuck out with Thon, Dr Hallewell , Amedea and Theophilia while Nexus and Cyrus were causing havoc.

Dr Hallewell had previously been working for Neuronet, but she was caught attempting to leak information so the organization instead chose to put her through experimentation.

Christopher is the head scientist that developed the Phase 2 Nanotypes . He is the creator of Amedea and Theophilia . He is killed by Cyrus during the initial breakout of the Phase 1 Nanotypes in 2550nb.

Iris is unable to sleep due to the nanobugs in her body, however that doesn't mean Nexus should be awake when it's so late.

Amedea and Theophilia are the first of the phase 2 Nanotypes and the progenitors for the development of future phases. They had been freed from Neuronet, and are living under the care of Dr Hallewell.

There are very few humans left on M'zeri, and those who aren't in hiding are usually research subjects for the Nanotypes. Despite literally being artificial humans with nanobots, Nanotypes consider themselves to be completely different from humans.

Penelope is the daughter of Wez Cordova and Mallory Sonitus. After a Nanotype attack that killed her parents, Penelope had survived but was taken away by Reuben McCarty.

Lycia is the daughter of Meira Tyrie and Andrew Trevena. She is learning to become a engineer like her father, working with robotics. Due to being part Nanotype, she has inherited the ability to heal severe injuries for others.

Callipso Synnott is the head of Robot Revolution on Beldua, who believes that, like the Nanotypes, the humans have overstayed their welcome and should either be converted or destroyed. She is hardly ever seen, even by her followers, except through recordings and broadcasts. Eventually she is killed by Riley when he found out she was human. She lives on as the robot Callipso.

Ellie Westfall is the head scientist of Project Nanotide, having been the one responsible for the breakthrough in the nanotechnology used for the Nanotypes . After working on Project Nanotide, she also helped work on the Phase 2 and 3 Nanotypes. At somepoint in her research during Project Nanotide, she went under the process herself to become a Nanotype. However with the nanobots she is able to still disguise herself as human.

Travis Loreti is the head scientist that was promoted to work on developing the Phase 3 Nanotypes after the breakdown of Neuronet and the Ibatian branch of Omicron Incorporated. While he's happy to have been promoted, Travis worries that he was only put in the position to be the scapegoat if anything goes wrong.
