Bijapur Museum Gol Gumbaz Archaeological Museum This building is known as Naqqar Khana (house of drum). This was built to offer a royal reception to kingโ€™s visitors by beating drums, which was part of custom for receiving royal guests in Chalukya Dynasty. The place is the right place to keep all the artifact's of Adil Shah's Kingdom. In 1892, this building was converted into Museum, the District Museum of Bijapur. @GujaratHistory: 161 years old photo of Naqqar Khana inner gateway of the palace in Lal Qilla (Red Fort) of Delhi was taken in 1858 AD. On ist floor of Naqqarkhana gate musicians used to play Naqqara/Nagara/Naubat ( kinds of drum) to indicate arrival/departure of ruler or hours of time. https://t.co/RejdV6l5Zx
