Final Thoughts:

This chapter was a bit frustrating, honestly, but overall it was fine. I certainly liked the latter half better than the first. What I mainly didn’t like was page 3 where Manbagi lashes out at Tadano yet again for no reason. He didn’t make her cut her hair so short. And what was she expecting him to say after she told him to call her cute? He just can’t win with her at all. Ugh...

I had a longer rant about her in my first post of the chapter, but I don’t feel like rewording all of it. It basically boils down to the fact that I am currently unable to like her because of how she treats Tadano. It’s not just limited to him, but this side of hers only seems to really come out when he is involved somehow. I don’t care that it’s “tsundere”. She doesn’t pull it off in a likeable way like some others can.

Let’s not dwell on that. Moving on to more positive things. I fucking LOVE the rest of her class. She’s got a ton of fan favorites in there with her.

I’m talking Onemine, Otori, Nakanaka, Yamai (😏)... Not just them either. We’ve also got Sasaki, Katou, Katai, Naruse, Kometani, Ase, Isagi, Fukusuki, Toutoi, Ohai, Fuwa, Yadano, Reika, Bodou, ummm... The mixer girls... Kichou Men... I feel like there’s someone I’m missing, but I can’t put my finger on it.

I really hope we get to see some Katai x Katou ship fuel. I need it, Oda. Throw in the usual Naka x Yama while you’re at it.

Anyways... If this is the class that we get to see when the manga focuses on Manbagi... well, I can accept that.

I may not like Manbagi right now, but I am of course going to give her the chance to grow as a person. Maybe someday I will like her again, I don’t know. I hope so. Either way, I absolutely love her class.

Next chapter is a two-pager. I find that rather strange, but okay.
