First Rumor of an Animaniacs Reboot

On May 30, 2017, an article by Michael Schneider on IndieWire, announced the development of a reboot of Animaniacs, between Steven Spielberg, Amblin Entertainment, and Warner Brothers.

That article was taken notice by lots of different news websites. However, there were no cited sources on the original article.

Lots of the original cast expressed they had no idea of any reboot and/or had no straight yes or no answer of its legitimacy. Nate Ruegger commented on the article asking for sources as well. No sources were ever cited.
