So I basically just reread the entirety of drhdr as research for the risukawa fic that I'm writing and here's a bunch of unconnected random thoughts I had about the manga that are pretty unrelated

under a cut because spoilers

The kid in the motorcycle (?) helmet who goes to school with Risu and Aikawa is such a fun little side character. I want to know more about him

It's actually insane how powerful Tanba/Fukuyama/Kirion are?? They go toe-to-toe with Kai after he's taken En's magic - EN, OF ALL PEOPLE - and they win?? Not even Shin/Noi could beat Kai, nor could En (until the end) and they did. And he was backed up by the Cross-Eyes (not that they did much). Team Tanba supremacy.

Asu is the funniest character in the manga.

Dokuga and Tetsujo are actually fucking idiots. 'Oh someone's been putting sludge in front of the boss' room. Nevermind. We'll mop it up :)' c'mon guys.

The Cross-Eyes story in general makes me so sad. I hate how they were treated by other magic users. I hate how much Kai did not give a shit about them.

Ton's death is the saddest one to me. Those panels of him and Natsuki and then it pans out (if you can pan out in an image) and it's their devil tumours :(

Kinda wish Fujita and Tetsujo had longer to hang out. I liked that Fujita could relate to the Cross-Eyes.

Girl Asu and Boy Nikaido had no right to be that cute!

Once again, my favourite character is whatever character happens to be on the page at the time because I love them all so much (right now it's Asu. Tomorrow it will be Risu. After that it will be Dokuga again. And the cycle will continue).
