Poor Natsume though, he just got out of court and now someone's dead, I guess he might have been right about this lodging being creepy and haunted... Obvious that Natsume would be the guy who was drinking tea with Shamspeare before he died, but dang c'mon Natsume, it doesn't help your case to lie! Even though it is understandable... OMG HAHAHA, I died when Shamspeare started moving😂😂 Why didn't anyone check if he was really dead or not😂 I'm so glad the mystery of how the Garridebs know exactly what time their lodgers go out and sleep etc has been resolved, it's through the gas! Since it's all connected to one main pipe, apparently when someone lights their gas lamp, this makes the other lamps in the other floors dimmer for a moment due to the need for more gas to light it up, and the opposite applies when they put out the lamp. Also, the two floors apparently use different amounts of gas so it's obvious who is who when lighting/putting it out. Well, certainly fascinating for sure, but kinda crazy to think if someone knew my bedtime and everything loll.

LMAO, Shamspeare and Natsume both respectively dressed up as Romeo and Juliet for their literary debate on who was stronger?😂😂😂 I have to agree with the judge, I don't want to imagine that scene omg😂 I feel sorry for van Zieks lol, Ryunosuke spent so much time proving Shakespeare is a liar but it's got nothing to do with the facts lol and he had to sit through that, I'd throw my bottle into the public gallery too lol. I must admit though, the way Shamspeare was stealing gas by making "ice coins" to put into the gas meter and then melting it out was cool! However, I have no idea why and how the gas company could not identify that huge hole under the meter lolll, literally cracked dude! Aww nice! Ryunosuke figured out that Shamspeare was forced to use tea instead of water to make his frozen coins that night since the snowfall made the water pump freeze, now Scotland Yard can properly check if the tea really had poison or not🥲 He's finally beating van Zieks with some logic now hahaahha. Is Shamspeare trying to find the treasure Selden (the previous occupant of Natsume's room who died in prison) stole and is most likely in Natsume's room, so that's why he wants to frame him for the poison to get the contents in the room? And does that mean Shamspeare killed the guy who lived there before Natsume, the art guy? That's so sad if it's true. Wait, is the reason he looks familiar is because he was the guy in Miss Green's photo or something? Omggg poor Olive Green, she and Duncan (the art guy who died) were engaged to be married, and he especially moved to that room to save money for their wedding. That is just so terrible. No wonder why she's always thinking it's like the end of the world, that is absolutely depressing. I honestly didn't expect Olive to actually be the one who poisoned Shamspeare! Like, there was obviously no other choice, but to think she actually discovered so many things surrounding Duncan's death and tried to avenge him in her own way before she unluckily got stabbed into a coma. Shamspeare was annoying and I'm glad we're done with him, but I loved Olive, I feel so bad for her. The gas stuff was pretty interesting too haha. Also, it's kinda funny how most of the case besides the end when they find the "treasure" Selden was hiding was basically irrelevant to why they were reminiscing over the whole thing lol, but who knows maybe it'll become relevant later? Overall, this case was all right. The gas lady in the jury was cool and I loved the idea Shamspeare thought of to scam them lol. His actions were deplorable and I feel bad for Olive though, like dang, this guy was intending to murder everyone blocking him until he could find a way to get this “treasure”.

Banned from representing anyone in court for 6 months or more?! Honestly, I think they've been pretty harsh on Ryunosuke. It's not like he knew McGilded was guilty for his crimes and knowingly aided him to get away with the murder, he merely did his job, and it's not like he was the one who tampered with the evidence! There was literally nothing he could have done besides try to understand the case and his client better, but even then, that wasn't his fault because Lord Stronghart was the one who basically forced him to represent him if Ryunosuke wanted to stay in Britain. It's pretty unfair to be banned for so long imo. Yayy, I'm so happy for Ryunosuke that he can go to court again! Someone attacked Barok van Zieks?! How dare they!! Nice to know he's a great fighter! And lmao at his apprentice looking more like a reaper than him. I admire van Zieks' passion? Tenacity? Towards prosecuting all the "vile wretches of society". To the point that he doesn't mind being called a reaper, and being attacked in revenge by these dodgy underling men whose boss escapes a guilty verdict but still ends up dying because of this reaper "curse". He really wants to get rid of all these people and he'll do anything for that to happen it seems. Now that we know definitively that the bottles and chalices van Zieks throws and breaks in court are made by the finest craftsmen with crystal even, I'm starting to wonder how much money he wastes every trial, and the poor hard work that goes into each and every chalice!! Lmao at van Zieks blaming it on Ryunosuke for saying dumb things and that's why he has to throw them😂 Btw it's hilarious how Ryunosuke and Iris keep getting on van Zieks' nerves by looking around his office and shitting on him for everything😂😂😂 Honestly, a part of me hopes and believes that the apprentice under van Zieks is actually Kazuma and this whole time he just left Ryunosuke alone to grow as a lawyer himself whilst he completes his respective mission🥲🥲

Awww Gina is an apprentice under Gregson now! That's so cool! I'm happy for her. It's so sad that van Zieks' older brother was killed by a serial killer after he graduated, guess bringing victims to justice by being a prosecutor solidified his choice of career. I'm curious about the serial killer though, is he really just infamous because he killed nobility? It seems that van Zieks seems to trust Ryunosuke alot now? And that he definitely regards that Harebrayne scientist a friend more than he shows. The case is an interesting one because the new science Act thing prevents people from inspecting the scientific contraption to protect its confidentiality, but at the same time this can cause problems in understanding whether the victim was "beamed" to the Crystal Tower from the stage or if there was any possible tampering with it etc. Like obviously it's impossible and highly unlikely his experiment worked but since there's no proof of it really being possible or impossible, what they have to rely on will be the evidence they have I guess, and I think it'll be fun to dissect all that and discovering how they can explain that it "did work" or didn't work to prove that Harebrayne either committed murder or it was an accident. Btw it's amazing that van Zieks only took 10 years to be the top prosecutor here, like wow, he's so young!

Okay, lmao at the juror that eats corn like a machine😂 Lmaoo at Harebrayne saying Ryunosuke's contradiction wasn't one at all to prove his hypothesis, he's really not helping his case😂 Too bad it got immediately refuted by Ryunosuke's evidence that indeed metal had been "beamed" to the Crystal Tower, contrary to his hypothesis that metal wouldn't be able to be transported. Tbh when I first found out that piece of evidence was a crossbow, I honestly thought it was the murder weapon hahaha, but to think it was actually what was used to shoot down the hot air balloon no one but the Bohemian Prince noticed! Well, there being a body double on the stage while the real Asman (victim) was somewhere else was expected, but to think Asman was hiding in a hot air balloon and trying to descend to the Crystal Tower through the explosion of it is pretty crazy omg. Honestly, it's pretty crazy how Harebrayne is willing to admit he committed murder rather than believe that his experiment had been tampered with. He did spend a lot of his life and effort on it I guess, but still... On the other hand, I honestly feel bad for Ryunosuke having to make the decision of whether to declare his client's scientific contraption a sham or not because it's such a lose-lose situation. If he declares that the whole experiment was a sham, then Scotland Yard can disregard that scientific act and examine Harebrayne's machine which then means he can't protect the confidentiality of it, and thus it will be contrary to his client's interests. But then if he doesn't declare it's a sham, it would heavily implicate Harebrayne's culpability in this case and that is contrary to his beliefs as a defence lawyer, and he would basically be failing to protect his client. I would still pick the former though, because there's nothing more important than protecting the client especially when it's the truth.

Omgggg Susato is back!! I'm so happy!! And with her Susato takedown as well haha! I love how she worded it to Ryunosuke though, what he should be focusing on isn't what he has to give up on but what he can protect, and what he can protect right now is Harebrayne's innocence and the truth. Anyway, I've been really enjoying how level-headed and knowledgeable the juries are! The silly ones are great of course, but I really like these ones too because they're unafraid to provide their knowledge to help the counsel understand the situation better and what may be possible scientifically or in terms of magic (with the magician guy), and I really like how when they discuss their opinions, it's very logical and I totally relate! Very refreshing imo hahaha, it's about time we got serious juries for once! Van Zieks is probably super happy to see they're not idiots for once😂😂 Also very happy to finally not go through summation examinations just for the heck of it since a lot of the time, I feel like they made us do it just because, like I'm always like uhh why they deciding guilty already lol. Anyway, on the other hand, sad to see Harebrayne painfully have to acknowledge that the engineer who built his machine is also a magician and is well-known for doing stuff like this, sigh.

It was so sweet when Ryunosuke told Susato that having her by his side in court gives him the strength to win. My heart melted, especially because I feel the same way haha, I was so dejected that Susato wasn't here, so when she appeared, I was so elated🥲 I find it so interesting how Lord Stronghart is establishing a forensic science division, and honestly, when he says that he's going to become attorney-general and get rid of these scoundrels who bribe juries etc, I really believe and feel like he can do it. Aww Gina and Toby the police dog are so cute! First police dog in the force!! Trust Susato to be the one to recognise that the apprentice is definitely Kazuma just from his posture and stuff, which is very interesting since he apparently has amnesia🤔 Oh how interesting, so the Asman on the stage and the Asman who reappeared at the Crystal Tower are actually one and the same! How did he get across?🤔 Enoch Drebber (the guy who constructed the "fake" machine for Harebrayne) is certainly much more interesting than I anticipated. I love his mechanical movements. I'm also very curious about him now since he was the one who stole the waxwork head of the Professor (serial killer guy who killed Klint van Zieks), as well as being the sole witness to the Professor crawling out of the grave after he was hung, which caused his hair to go white🤔 Btw lmaooo at him putting a time bomb there expecting people to run away but because Sholmes was telling Ryunosuke and them it was an anti-gravity device, they were just standing there deducing where Drebber was and stuff hahahahaha. I loved Gregson's silent stares and expressions of frustration towards Sholmes for nearly killing everyone😂 I loveeee how much of a softie Gregson is, I like him so much haha. Anyway, not surprised that Drebber ended up blowing up Harebrayne's machine, and now no one will ever know if it was really a proper machine or not.

OMG LMAO at Kazuma(?) slicing the cork or lid or whatever off van Zieks' wine bottle for him in court so he can pour it. I love it omg, it's such a nice touch to the fact that Kazuma is beside van Zieks supporting him as his assistant. Even though I felt like the forensics lady Sithe seemed "evil", but I didn't think she was colluding with Drebber😶 Did they use a corpse or a waxwork as the body double? I guess it was the waxwork. Anyway, I have to agree with van Zieks especially the way he worded it to demonstrate how ridiculous and how terrible of an accusation Ryunosuke made against not only Scotland Yard's forensic coroner but also how it feels as if he's grasping at anything he could to show that his client is not guilty. I feel bad for Ryunosuke because it took a lot of guts (props to Susato for always supporting and encouraging him, I love her) to make such accusations, but I have to agree with van Zieks and the jury that at this point in time, it is pretty ludicrous, so I think the summation examination happening here makes sense. 

LMAO at Ryunosuke calling the police guy on the jury Ottermole (mass murderer guy in the wax museum) because Sholmes said he looked like him before😂😂 It was such a nice funny break from the heavy atmosphere hahaha. Omg, Sithe is the same coroner who wrote the autopsy report for the Professor... Lmao at Madame Tusspells carving the waxwork for Sholmes whilst testifying😂😂 Considering that Lord Stronghart himself forbade Dr Sithe from appearing in court, it must mean that whatever she did write in the report isn't something Sithe personally did by herself and that they're hiding something much bigger than anticipated. Sithe says she's disappointed that van Zieks decided to overrule the missive to call her in, but I agree with van Zieks, even if he wasn't personally linked to the Professor's case, he is a prosecutor who seeks for the truth and that definitely can't be achieved without her right now. Well, nice to know now that the newspaper article apparently states Drebber telling them that when the Professor rose from the dead, Drebber heard a gunshot that killed the Professor "again", and to this Madame Tusspells remembers that Drebber told her the blood splattered over his face. Btw I just wanted to say, lmaoo at Kazuma dodging when van Zieks throws his chalice😂😂

Omg I completely missed the signature and was always wondering who the reporter was, so to think that Asman was the one who drew the picture that Drebber described of the scene back then, and was the one who revealed his name on the paper causing him to be forced into leaving his university and giving up on his dream to become a scientist etc... Did Dr Sithe actually kill Asman???? With that screwdriver??? Did she check if he was really dead?? Because I'm sure there was blood from that wound??? Oh, she's been blackmailed all this time by Asman... I was wondering where those 500 scalpels every month was linked to but I see... No wonder why she killed him. 

On the other hand, I do genuinely feel bad for Drebber, he really did have such a bright future that was cruelly taken away by Asman and others. I didn't really think about it but I guess he did destroy Harebrayne's efforts and dreams through his actions since people may see him as a failure after this. But I think at the core of it, despite Drebber calling Harebrayne talentless and stuff, I think he was just genuinely jealous of people like Harebrayne who could so purely pursue their dream like that and try their best no matter what. I especially loved van Zieks' words of encouragement to Harebrayne when he thought of himself as selfish and useless, Harebrayne working his hardest to realise his dreams is definitely laudable and not laughable. I think that's why I really like Harebrayne even though he's so silly at times. His genuine pursuit of science and his research is something I really admire, he really gives it his all and I really hope his hard work will come to fruition. 

I love how sweet van Zieks is! The moment the trial ended, he already organised everything to escort Harebrayne back to Germany just in case the Reaper gets to him! It was so touching when he called Harebrayne a true friend, my heart melted at how kind he was towards him. Lmao when he said he needed to pack him off to Germany at once😂 Their friendship is such a highlight in this trial because you see the usual “cold” van Zieks in court, but you can also tell that throughout the whole trial, he was probing Ryunosuke into finding out the “truth” of this case because he believed that Harebrayne was innocent. I think it would have been so cuteee to see van Zieks and Harebrayne walking around London on a tour, too bad I guess.

I had an inkling ever since the Professor was introduced that he was probably Japanese and that's why van Zieks hated the Japanese so much, but until van Zieks decided to reveal the Professor's face to everyone, and I wondered why Kazuma was there, then I realised that it was probably Kazuma's father. Honestly, hearing van Zieks talk about the lost of his brother really hurt because you could really feel his pain and the betrayal, because I'm sure he really trusted those Japanese students that came here. No wonder why Mikotoba and everyone refused to say anything. Not only was the killer a friend of theirs but it was also related to the treaty and relations between Great Britain and Japan. It's kinda sad to be reunited with Kazuma but not really at the same time. I'm happy but at the same time I'm not sure how to feel about it all right now. Btw, I loveeee the cutscene revealing the true identity of the Professor! It was so seamlessly done! I was so surprised when it suddenly went into a cutscene and there were voices, but it was so good! Btw, Tsuda Kenjiro voicing van Zieks is so beautiful, he just makes van ZIeks even more perfect than he already is lmao. Anyway!! I was holding my breath the whole time for the reveal because I knew it was going to be related to Kazuma but at the same time, it was still shocking to hear. I think Kazuma’s agonising scream was so well done that I wanted to cry but my emotions were so muddled up. I was so happy that Kazuma was back with us, but at the same time, you could feel that Kazuma was “different”. It felt like I was reuniting with an old friend that I actually didn’t really know again, which I guess is how they want us to feel haha. 

Overall, the third case of Resolve really blew me away! Honestly the first case was boring and the second was kinda...typical AA stuff I guess so I didn’t really expect much for the third but omggg! I loved it so much. Not only was the case itself great because the witnesses were fun and interesting such as the little prince who kept buying balloons (loved the animation for it!), I also really liked seeing both van Zieks and Ryunosuke committing themselves to the truth and being prepared to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of it, even if it meant knowingly going against Stronghart. Oh and we can’t forget Sholmes totally screwing with us when we were looking for Enoch Drebber, because I think at this point, it’s very obvious that Sholmes knew where Drebber was the moment they stepped in but still thought it would be hilarious to make us think there was really something like an anti-gravity device ahahha. I also really liked the juries because I think they all had something to add logically in their own way, and their thoughts and conclusions were very understandable. Corn girl was random, but it is true that some people just go along with the decision of someone they perceive as “smarter” so that was interestingly understandable haha. Anyway, I really enjoyed how Ryunosuke just kept digging and digging and discovering what Sithe had done, and it really felt like the case was never going to end but it was a good thing because I was so invested haha. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the Professor’s Reveal came along! Such a great end to the third case, and I loved the soundtrack! And btw yes, my post became too long so I had to split up the next two cases from this post haha!

There’s also something dehumanizing and horrifying in managing a society like this all to maintain the status quo. so let’s see if I have this straight, the remnants of capitalism made deca-dence and then a bunch of little robot people who are incentivized via a game system to destroy the squishy monsters. the city design makes sense now it wasn’t made with things like safety or efficiency or any regard for the residents in mind, it was made to look cool. Living in a fuel tank is exactly the type of bullshit to expect from a videogame.

3: kurenai has the vibes of that one cool npc that the the main character out grows to show how strong you’ve become. (the trope is rife with misogyny. who was the one that talked about it? ... femfreq?), wonder what the show will do with it. good job deconstructing the instant expert trope. lit. unregulated capitalism. what is corporations replaced government but for little cyborg people. curious about this minato guy. the 175 years until decommission or whatever makes me wonder how long all of this has been going on. on the screen with the eurasia bubble, were other structures, so i wonder whats happening elsewhere in the world.

4. the game trailer style shots.... the juxtaposition of the tankers discussing battle strategy for a life or death situation, with the cyborgs excited for the next raid event and talking about the game’s story is real good. its a revolving door of mood whiplash. oof dramatic irony since the entertainment corp also seems to control gadoll numbers. Why do none of the Power wear armor? oh right aesthetics and game logic, i answered my own question. I was thinking about this for a little while but kaburagi really does have the set up to be an isekai/mmo light novel protag so I’m really glade we have natsume as well. If done improperly her character type can get kind of annoying, the show did a good job of humanizing her which is important since so much of the disconnect between a game world and a lived reality hinges on her. why isn’t altitude sickness a problem for anyone?

5. yikes. saved twice within the first 10 minutes. maybe dont charge in there natsume. and it was the cool lady too! oh shit limit release. now the stakes are up. isnt kaburagi totally going to get his little head chopped off and the his little green battery extracted.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the struggle against the inevitable and unmovable. i was wondering how they were managing the squishies population. just where is this lake? what weird ass hazing system has kaburagi ended up in... is this the slow part of the anime? where they save up frames for the finale?

7. i just realized that kaburagi purposefully chose dog faced characters twice in a row. like he can choose to look like whatever he wants and he good, i feel comfortable looking like this. good for him. How did they punch a hole in the wal anyways, mechanically? with gadoll? We’ve see that they can either change the projection surrounding deca-dence, or actually have full control of all material int he bubble. oh kabu-san you are finally starting to think. but its not the gadoll that are the root of the problem, its the deca-dence system. btw since cyborgs run on the green juice which i think is made from gadolls??? how does kabu plan on fueling everyone. he hasn’t thought about it has he. of course the gadoll have a kill switch. do the tankers have one...?

8. a setup episode. my heart was racing during the avatar retrieval part, so much tension. jill is great. not sure why kaburagi doesnt just tell natsume whats going on. i do think it’d be a shock and a lot to take in just like when the gadoll reset on the mountain, but it’d make coordinating much easier. as is taking her along while not telling her whats going on doesnt feel right. also the green slanty eyed cyborgs given me bad vibes from the start, after all he’s the one that told mikey about removing the limiter. I’m kinda sad we only have 12 episodes so we have to enter the finale already. i would have loved to see the tanker teams, natsume and fei, and minato and kaburagi relationships fleshed out.

9. YEAH YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER EARLIER. so she would have time to process all that world shaking information not in the middle of the operation when it could cost her her life! also doesn’t this mean all the cyborgs still alive are now trapped in the waste disposal place.

10. i totally forgot about that tunnel. that said it looks kinda fragile, how’d it survive the explosion? And how did the robo crew get a hideout?? jill is amazing. she’s like a wizard. Natsume just doesn’t get a break, no ones explained to her the cyborg-avatar thing. I’m too invested in this show to analyze anything.

11. holy shit i wonder what the last few episodes were going to be about. they’re going to black hole the whole place. also we can finally hear pipopi! I thought it a bit funny pruple nose seemed to be taking advice for them but really eh was taking orders? so minato did the tremendously stupid thing of logging out and then hopping on a shuttle to get from orbit to deca-dence so he could talk to kaburagi face to face. even if they take out the gadoll, that doesn’t stop the deca0dence system from having a kill switch on the bubble.

12. POMDOROSA DID THE END SCENE ART. it really is 7 degrees of separation, they have a tumblr here. right as the natsume flashbacks started, I knew what was going to happen. Was it really safe inside the drill thing?? ah whatever. Kaburagi really went all out and busted himself huh. He probably didn’t actually need to use so much force that it’d break decadence. ah I’m rambling. I binged watched this show in 1 day. i started tearing up at the natsume flahsbacks... I dont remember what i just watched it was pure experience. I do wonder whats happening on other continents.. Jill! I can’t believe it took you 3 years to organize your files and find kaburagi’s backup! well i mean its realistic but still.

Deca-Dence is very good, like not even talking about the thematic stuff the execution in both animation and writing are both really good.

Natsume yuujinchou  (a teenage orphan who sees spirits/monsters sets out to free the spirits who were bound in magical contract by his grandmother after he inherits a powerful book, aided primarily by a spirit who appears as an exasperated fat cat (who is just as fun as he sounds). Titular character is like my Fave boy in the whole world, he’s so kind and soft despite all the hardships he’s faced, the series has very gentle pacing/character development, and each episode is a carefully crafted lil story that have often moved me to tears, chuckles, or outright chinhands of fondness as u watch natsume slowly find a home in the world and amongst the humans &spirits around him. big focus on friendships, there’s like no romance with any of the main characters, lots of cool different creatures (most of whom arent all that scary once u get to know them), its just literally everything i could ever dream for in a show and it exists! <3)

Leverage (team of modern day robin hoods ruin rich peoples’ lives via  delightfully crafted spy cons to give back to the regular folks the rich people hurt. Extremely good, strong found family vibes, and v cathartic)

Brooklyn 99 (follows diverse cast of character who make up a NY precinct. Hilarious, immensely wholesome & groundbreaking, & probs the most lighthearted crime show besides like psych tbh)

Blackspot/Zone Blanche (spoopy french/belgium crime series set in a small village way out in the mountains surrounded by misty, mysterious and murdery woods. eerie and atmospheric, but also like one of my fave characters (everyone calls him teddy bear) keeps a pet guinea pig at work, so it’s not entirely grim and bleak)

Longmire (a modern western crime drama centering around the titular sheriff and others in their small town wyoming county, well written and lot of chracter development revealed alongside some really good case mysteries bc i love trying to figure out whodunits apparently based on a book series well adored by dads btw)

who is your favorite character in 2? (leverage) ahhh,,, this is hard... Eliot maybe? like Hardison is baby ofc, but i relate to elliot a ton (i think if i was on a team i would want to be the hitter tbh?) and love the subversion of so many action hero tropes that he is, also endlessly amused by how very put upon he is despite all his rad/random skills

who is your least favorite character in 1? (natsume yuujinchou) oh seiji matoba for sure, he can go eat a mouldy tree stump. absolutely evil nasty dude

what is your favorite episode of 4? (blackspot) the end of the road. great opening, didnt end up too devastating unlike a lot of the cases, Hermann was gr8, cool twist i hadnt super expected in the plot which was neat.

what is your favorite season of 5? (longmire) probs 1, walter reeally started to piss me off being Such A Man in later seasons, also me being extremely anxious about Henry and his life choices later, that creepy stalker storyline starting up with Someone and when Someone else in the main cast got died really suddenly and upsettingly later on as well, also when a weird relationship started between some of the characters that i really aint feeling so. before all that happened was nice (also sorry if this is super vague, im trying to avoid spoilers)

who is your favorite couple in 3? (B99) Besides Jake/Amy and Holt/Kevin (bc oviously theyre gr8) uh.. i know it was a long time ago and didnt last very long, but i thought rosa and marcus were really sweet? it brought another layer out to her character, even when they broke up that helped rosa starting to show emotional vulnerability and all, even tho it ended it was still just, idk, i liked them.

what is your favorite episode of 1? (natsume yujinchou) i have sooo many faves ahhh!!! i dont think i could pick just one on pain of death, every episode is acrefully cosntructed gem all on its own and i have too many that i love and adore to pick jsut one :((

what is your favorite episode of 5? (longmire) Dog soldier!! ive rewatched that one a ton, so so many good bits, really satisfying resolution of the case despite the shitty system that was revealed, and i rmr getting chills by the end the first time i saw it.

what is your favorite season of 2? (leverage) i guess season 1? just, idk, everything being set up and watching all these grumpies/less grumpies who have no plans to stay together start working together as a baby team, and just the joy of seeing their first heist together with the first plot twist, just.. such a delight, but all seasons that ive seen so far were all excellent, it’s a stellar show

how did you become interested in 3? (b99) i think it was just on netflix way back in season 1 and i started watching it, loved it and never stopped? i think that might have even been before it got rlly popular lol

who is your favorite actor in 4? (blackspot) i dont rlly know any of these french peeps? but teddybear’s one of my fave characters, so hopefully the person who plays him is also cool, in which case hubert delattre (if not, Suliane Brahim does a v good job as the lead)

which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5? (natsume yujinchou, leverage or longmire) um... real torn between natsume and leverage here, they’re both such lovely gems that do found family so, so well.. leverage is a team of modern robin hood-esque spies with brilliant writing and exciting heists and multiple delightful plot twists every episode and great character building and so much catharticism in ruining evil rich peoples lives.

but natsume’s title character is one of my very favorite characters ever, hes been through so much but he becomes the most kindest and thoughtful boy ever, and its so, so soft and gentle in its development of characters and their slow build of getting to know each other and becoming friends, and the interactions with the paranormal world are very rarely entirely malicious/scary, and there’s pretty well no romance, at least like no romance for plot/with the main characters anyways, and there’s lots of female characters who have important roles but arent sexualized/killed off for man feels/exist for romo (which sadly cannot be said about a lot of media, especially manga/anime tbh, even leverage does not win entirely on that front).. its defintiely my favorite anime ever (i dont watch loads, but literally no other one can ever come close to topping its perfection),

i guess tho, leverage is over, and natsume is still technically ongoing, so i guess for that then i have to go with natsume?

which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3? (natsume yuujinchou or b99) Natsume for sure, they’re so short its easy to power thru like half a season in an afternoon

if you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? (blackspot) i would probably want to be someone who didnt live in villefranche actually haha uh, it’s a pretty spoopity place.. even some of the characters i do like make some Bad decisions that are v bothersome. Dr. Leila barami seems to have a good head on her shoulders tho, so if i Must be a character here then let’s go with her

would a crossover between 3 and 4 work? (b99 or blackspot) oh god... the cheery upbeat department at the 99 meet up with a grim, misty tiny mountain forest village with bleak day to day life, solving crimes amidst small town paranoia and weird maybe cult-related conspiracies and honestbhly something/s paranormal and menacing going on in the woods?? i just... cant see any of the characters even interacting lol, im just picturing jake’s confused befuddled face when he hears something weird but like x 10000

pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple? (natsume yujinchou) hm... i mean, one of the things i love about Natsume is that there arent really any romo relationships tbh? at least not with any of the main characters in the main storyline (so far), just like the odd one-off of minor characters (and takashi’s adopted parents ofc, but that’s different). so, yeah, i cant really think of one (although i think the big fandom fave ship of takashi and his worst enemy is rlly.. nope, and i dont know what’s going on there? takashi and tanama however, that would make sense, tho it is not unlikely so i cant answer this question with them)

overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5? (b99 or longmire) b99! cos ya know my annoyances with some of the stuff happening later on in longmire lol, b99 just got better n better as it went along, and it’s still going :’)

which has the better theme music, 2 or 4? (leverage or blackspot) blackspot has a real good eerie atmospheric theme which is gr8 and i love it <3 (leverage’s tune is like, elevator music/cheesy jazzy spy tune, which does suit it tho lol)
