The Ultimate Ramadan Dua' List - Shaykh Navaid Aziz
I looked at the greatest needs we have in this day and age and selected 7 dua’s from the Quran and Sunnah that I feel would be in the best interests of every Muslim.
It would be ideal to print this list (or have it on your phone) and keep it handy at the time of iftar. Likewise, please add to your list anything else that you would like, especially that which your heart desires.
For your convenience I have included the Arabic, English transliteration, and English translation.
I pray Allah accepts from us all, and makes us from those who are forgiven and pardoned this Ramadan and entered into alfirdaws in the hereafter. Ameen.
DUA 1:
O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.
DUA 2:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِيالدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ Rubbana aatina fid-dunya hassana,wa fil akhirati hassana, waqina ‘adhab an-nar. Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. {Surat Al Baqarah 2: Verse 201}
DUA 3:
Rubbi j’alnee muqeem as-salati wa mindhuriyyati. airsLLide No. 6709: D-AOAO, Ilyushin 18V, BerLine, Basel-Mulhouse, March 1, 1992.
After the East German flag carrier Interflug ceased operations a mere five months after German unification, utility operator BSF Berliner Spezialflug stepped up to buy five of Interflug's Ilyushin 18 turboprops. It planned to offer them for leisure and ad-hoc charters and formed the BerLine brand for this venture.
D-AOAO, formerly DDR-STF with Interflug, joined the fleet in October 1991 and after an upgrade to Western TCAS and navaid equipment required by German legislation it began flying for BerLine in November 1991. BerLine stayed in business and flew her until the end of March 1994, after having reduced the initial fleet down to just three units in December 1992, in an attempt to save cost.
The hockey team "Dynamo Berlin" - today known as "Berliner Eisbären" - was one of the first adhoc charter customers of BerLine. A premier league match against Freiburg HC brought her to Basel-Mulhouse airport, located some 60 kilometres / 40 miles Southwest of Freiburg in Breisgau, just across the Rhine on its French bank.

Get to Know the Rules for Safe Air Traffic Control
Air traffic control (ATC) plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of air travel. The rules and procedures followed by air traffic controllers are crucial in managing the movement of aircraft both in the sky and on the ground. Understanding these rules can help aspiring aviation professionals, particularly those taking aviation courses in Neemuch, gain a deeper appreciation for the complexity of the field.
Tumblr media
The Basics of Air Traffic Control
Air traffic control involves a network of ground-based controllers who coordinate the movement of aircraft within designated airspace and on airport surfaces. The primary objective of ATC is to prevent collisions, organize and expedite the flow of air traffic, and provide information and other support for pilots. The training provided in top airline courses in Neemuch covers these fundamental aspects, preparing students to handle the responsibilities of air traffic controllers effectively.
Communication and Coordination
One of the core components of air traffic control is communication. Controllers must maintain constant communication with pilots to provide instructions, weather updates, and other essential information. Clear and concise communication is vital, as any misunderstanding can lead to dangerous situations. Those enrolled in aviation courses in Neemuch learn about the standardized phraseology used in ATC communication, which helps reduce the risk of miscommunication.
Coordination between different air traffic control centers is also essential. As aircraft travel across various regions, they are handed off from one controller to another. This process requires precise timing and accurate information exchange to ensure seamless transitions and maintain safety.
Separation Standards
Separation standards are rules that determine the minimum safe distance between aircraft. These standards vary based on factors such as altitude, speed, and the type of aircraft. Horizontal separation ensures that aircraft are not too close laterally, while vertical separation maintains a safe distance between aircraft at different altitudes. The comprehensive training in top airline courses in Neemuch includes detailed instruction on these separation standards and how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
Navigational Aids and Radar Systems
Navigational aids (NAVAIDs) and radar systems are crucial tools for air traffic controllers. NAVAIDs, such as VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Range) and ILS (Instrument Landing System), help pilots determine their position and navigate along predetermined routes. Radar systems allow controllers to monitor the position, speed, and altitude of aircraft in real-time.
During their aviation courses in Neemuch, students learn how to interpret radar displays and use NAVAIDs to guide aircraft safely. These technologies enable controllers to provide accurate instructions and ensure that aircraft follow their intended flight paths.
Handling Emergencies
Air traffic controllers must be prepared to handle emergencies, such as equipment failures, medical issues on board, or severe weather conditions. Training programs, including those offered in top airline courses in Neemuch, emphasize the importance of quick decision-making and effective problem-solving skills. Controllers must remain calm under pressure and provide clear instructions to pilots to manage emergencies safely.
The Role of Technology
Advancements in technology continue to enhance the capabilities of air traffic control systems. Automated tools and decision-support systems help controllers manage increasing air traffic volumes and improve safety. Aspiring controllers taking aviation courses in Neemuch are introduced to these modern technologies and trained on how to integrate them into their daily operations.
Continuous Learning and Adaptation
The field of air traffic control is constantly evolving, with new regulations, procedures, and technologies being introduced regularly. Continuous learning and adaptation are essential for air traffic controllers to stay current and maintain the highest safety standards. The curriculum of top airline courses in Neemuch is designed to instill a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging students to stay informed about industry developments throughout their careers.
In conclusion, air traffic control is a complex and dynamic field that requires extensive knowledge, precise communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. Aspiring aviation professionals can benefit greatly from the comprehensive training provided in aviation courses in Neemuch, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to safe and efficient air traffic management.

Note
do they make you learn fcc frequency allocations as part of the miscellaneous knowledge required to safely operate a plane in society?
All our radios are only capable of using the ones allocated for aviation!
Specific frequencies are used for specific aviation purposes! Like radio navigation, such as Non Directional Beacons, Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range’s, and Instrument Landing Systems!
The frequencies used by air to air or ground to air communication are from 118.00 to 136.995, and the above navaids are from 108.00 to 117.95.
NDB’s actually use AM radio! Same as your car. My dad used to use ndb recievers to listen to the radio in flight.

led obstruction beacon
Obstruction marking and lighting standards are intended to offer a reliable method of alerting pilots to the presence of items that could endanger aviation safety. An aeronautical beacon or aerodrome beacon is another name for an airport beacon light. An example of a visual navigation aid, or NAVAID, is a beacon. Similar to obstacle lights, they emit bursts of different coloured lights to signal the position of an airport, heliport, landmark, or even rugged terrain

While we do not provide always current approach plates, we do regularly update many of them (the ones from the USA in particular are in practice Note that due to the way that app stores work, we will likely conitnue to call the product "SimPLates X", at least for the time being. Or display on screen the approach and other charts of your choice and then fly them in the sim - just like real pilots do. Just a reminder, Simplates does not directly integrate into MSFS2020 or any other fligth sim. What this means that if you're a serious sim pilot, SimPlates will help you get the most out of MSFS2020 by giving you theĪbility to instantly access approach charts, airport diagrsms, and more for MSFS's worldwide coverage. Not been set, it is in our estimation very unlikely that MSFS2020 will include any, much less anywhere near the number of approach plates included While at the time of this writing the final specs of MSFS2020 have That you can now fly more actual IFR approaches than ever before in the sim. In addition to all of its other revolutionary features, MSFS2020 features more realistic airports and aircraft than ever before.

Yes! SimPlates is perfectly compatible with the amazing revolution in PC Flight Simming that is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020! However, they are still more than perfectly valid for simulator flying. This is because actual IFR plates have relatively short life spans, and thus the plates in Remember, SimPlates are ACTUAL IFR PLATES! However, pilots, please avoid all temptation and DO NOT USE THEM FOR REAL WORLD FLIGHT. If you use them on a mobileĭevice such as a tablet, you can use it directly from that just as real pilots do more and more. If you use SimPlates on a PC or Mac, you can print them out. Simplates' friendly interface makes it easy to find exactly the plate or information you are looking for quickly, and have it ready for your virtual flight.

What is an ILS and its different component? Terminal VORs go up to 12,000 feet and 25 nautical miles. Low-altitude VORs service aircraft up to 18,000 feet and up to 40 nautical miles wide. High-altitude VORs can be used up to 60,000 feet and 130 nautical miles wide. airline, McCrobie et al., (1997) found that 73% of pilots used VNAV in climb phase, while only 20% used the function in descent and 5% use the function in approach. In a survey of 203 pilots at a major U.S. Pilots generally use the VNAV function during the climb and cruise phases of flight. The GA guys always have better toys than we do. With most of our equipment, it’s just generally easier and more straightforward to fly an ILS, than to set up for the RNAV. Generally, airline pilots will prefer an ILS over RNAV /GPS. You might be interested: Readers ask: What Is Gnss In Aviation? Is ILS better than RNAV? Standard VOR and NDB approaches are removed at most airports in the US and substituted by RNAV approaches. RNAV approaches are safer and also simpler to use and manage than standard navaids such as VOR’s and ILS’s, which must be checked for flight under such tolerances. VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range ( VOR ), is an aircraft navigation system operating in the VHF band. This ‘ flying away from the needle’ is also required when flying outbound on the front course of the localizer.” What is a cat 3 landing?ĬAT III A DEFINITIONS A category III A approach is a precision instrument approach and landing with no decision height or a decision height lower than 100ft (30m) and a runway visual range not less than 700ft (200m). How do I fly my localizer back course?Īccording to the AIM, “when flying inbound on the back course it is necessary to steer the aircraft in the direction opposite the needle deflection when making corrections from off- course to on- course. Automatic landings probably account for less then 1% of all landings on commercial flights. The pilots can program the auto pilot to carry out the landing automatically whilst the pilots monitor the aircraft. Yes a plane can land by itself using a system that is often referred to as “autoland”. As a student pilot that isn’t IFR trained yet, we always fly visually and don’t use the ILS. ILS is only one out of several approach systems which exist. You might be interested: FAQ: What Does Fl Stand For In Aviation? Do pilots always use ILS?Įven in instrument conditions pilots will often manually fly the ILS approach rather than using autopilot to keep up their skills. The ILS works by sending 2 beams up from the landing runway, one telling the pilots if they or high or low and the other telling them if they are left or right of the runway centreline. How Does an ILS Work? It is used to help provide lateral and vertical guidance to the pilots when landing an aircraft. While you might receive localizer signals outside of the service volume, the localizer is only guaranteed to be accurate up to 10 degrees on either side of the runway to 18NM. Positioned on the far end of the runway, the localizer transmits signals on 108.1 MHz, up to and including 111.95 MHz (odd tenths only). 14 What are the 4 components of an ILS?.7 How do I fly my localizer back course?.3 What is the difference between ILS and localizer?.

In addition, the Localizer.magneticBearingAccuracy is used to provide the corresponding accuracy value. This is the inbound course value, when going towards the Localizer antenna, as normally provided in AIS publications. The magnetic bearing of a Localizer (or Localizer course) is the measured angle between the localizer beam and Magnetic North at the localizer antenna and is coded using the Localizer.magneticBearing attribute. Positionįor more details see topic Navaid Position & Elevation. Localizer and glidepath frequency will be paired according to ICAO Annex 10, Volume I. The glide path equipment shall operate in the band 328.6 MHz to 335.4 MHz. The localizer shall operate in the band 108 MHz to 111.975 MHz. For both Glidepath and Localizer, only the value equal-to ' MHZ' shall be used. The corresponding data type ValFrequencyType contains an uom attribute. However, there is a coding rule that defines a range of acceptable values. This can be any decimal value greater than 0. The equency attribute is used to code the value of the frequency of the glidepath. The equency attribute is used to code the value of the frequency of the localizer. For details about the encoding including rules see the topic Magnetic Variation. Magnetic Variationįor ILS, PANS-AIM Appendix 1 requires the magnetic variation to be provided.
