HOW READING IS AN ESSENTIAL LANGUAGE SKILL?
Reading falls under the four langauge skills namely LSRW , Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Traditionally, reading was narrowly conceptualized as a decoding process, that is, speaking out  written language. In terms of literacy acquisition the dominant perspective (reading readiness) considered learning to read as learning to decode. In terms of material, it meant that the texts were structured around letter-sounds and children were expected to master the letter-sound correspondence and learn about blending to decode words. The assumption behind constructing materials was a ‘bottom-up’ approach to reading, where the whole consisted of parts and by learning parts one could learn the whole. Varnmala , barakhadi in pre- primary and primary classes along with drill based letter writing was the road to langauge teaching.
This view of reading has been challenged in recent years. An alternative perspective, emergent literacy, based on a different and broader conceptualization of reading and development has gained prominence. Literacy is not viewed merely as decoding but rather the whole act of reading, including comprehension (Mason and Sinha, 1993).
Emergent literacy perspective advocates literacy learning by interacting with meaningful texts for genuine purposes including enjoyment as early as to three years depending on age appropriate material. The text when are considerate towards children, better is the process of motivation for them to read. This perspective focuses on all aspects of language (semantic, syntactic, and graphophonic), and not merely on phonics. Also Read About Top 10 Preschool In India
Hence, we must understand that Reading  is a cognitive process involving decoding symbols to arrive at meaning. During this processing of information, the reader uses strategies to understand what they are reading, uses themes to organize ideas, and uses textual clues to find the meanings of new words. It is also not just done in language classrooms, but across curriculum and is a lifelong activity.
The suggestive approach to reading is top-down processing approach which revolutionized the conception of the way students learn to read (Goodman 1967; Smith 1994). In this view, reading is not just extracting meaning from a text but a process of connecting information in the text with the knowledge the reader brings to the act of reading. Reading, in this sense, is “a dialogue between the reader and the text” (Grabe 1988, 56).
It is basically making readers  be at the forefront and is an active cognitive process in which the reader’s background knowledge plays a key role in the creation of meaning (Tierney and Pearson 1994). There are several indicators that enable early and careful development of reading. Like:
1. Importance of Rich reading environment for Children(at home , school, culture , outside world)- The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) -2005 appreciates the importance of a print-rich environment as one of the strongest tools for reading. There should be enough printed material in and around the classroom. Symbols, charts and notices should be placed in the class so that children can learn the sounds of various letters along with their written symbols. NCF-2005 also supports the use of reading material other than textbooks for children. The exposure of children to printed material in their surroundings is essential. Read More :- Best play school in Delhi
Also , at school the School and classroom libraries have a significant role to play in children’s literacy. The research, commissioned by the Great School Libraries campaign, highlights the benefits having a library can have on reading and writing skills, enjoyment of reading and improving general academic achievement.
DEAR programs in preschools and primary schools are a significant step towards the same. Junior Delhi School, leading playschool franchise India is a prime example of it.

BABYSITTING
Tumblr media
NA JAEMIN
Prologue: You think kids are little devils, as they turn out to be with you but Jaemin has got another side to show you.
Genre: Fluff
Wordcount: 1,466
Warnings: Mild Language
Tumblr media
The hands of the clock had barely made it through the daylight hours, but your condition was a disaster. Your room now appeared like some sort of zoo, to put it aptly. The bedcovers were pulled out, drawers and shelves raided, coloring pencils and crayons spread all across the room and to any possible place they could conquer. The screaming sounds mixed with the giggles and laughs now seemed rather evil to you.
Being a big sister and the only teen sister to your five little evil cousins wasn’t something you signed up for, but that’s just how it was. Your humungous family was having a get-together over the long weekend, resulting in all the uncles with a dead sense of humor, the aunts with relentless gossip whom you never liked, and the superficially cute-appearing cousins that carried chaos and trouble inside them gathering at your place. Having your grandparents around too was the only thing that you looked up to.
And it would have been completely fine if only people minded their own businesses, but that was not the case. You did not mind sitting down with everyone and being a part of a lively conversation, reminiscing about the old days, embarrassing stories from the past, bitching about the relatives that weren't present there. That was, after all, the essence of a family. It was only then that the conversations began to turn and hit you, questioning your career decisions, college grades, part-time, uninvitedly interfering in your little social life, talking about your never-before-existing love affairs with the rich boy next door, and what the hell not.
You had to bear it all, and you did. There was this thing about "family" that no one could ever escape, and you were no special exception either.
You reasoned that it would be better this afternoon because all of the adults from the functioning society had left the house. Was it for shopping? Just going around the city? Visiting some more knowns? You couldn’t care less. You were just happy that they were gone.
It had now been three hours since you were babysitting a bunch of toddlers. Ensuring they don’t bump their heads on your mum’s expensive taste furniture. Looking around, and counting their heads and turning the house upside down in case any one of them was not in place. You were now done with listening to their babbles and epics of how their kindergarten teacher awarded them with a star on their wrists. Things went worse when you allowed them in your room, giving them the permission to do just about whatever they wanted.
You placed yourself on your pastel green couch, pulling out your phone from your pocket and excusing yourself from the world. A text message from Jaemin, your college boyfriend, caught your attention before anything else.
"Hey, babe! Wanna hang out today?" he asked. Without even considering his offer, you spammed him with more texts.
"Why are kids so annoying?"
"Why do people get so excited over kids when, in the end, they turn out to be devils?"
"I swear there is something wrong with this generation."
"They won't get into place, so what the hell do I do now?"
"And I’m not even getting paid for it."
"They are now demanding gummy bears to assemble them into battalions like girl, for reals?"
You started off out of context, leaving Jaemin clueless. "Eh? You alright? Are you into babysitting kids, wait a minute, what?"
You realized. "Oh, I’m sorry, but I can’t hang out today, I have to watch over my cousins." You sent him a text back. What would otherwise have been a fun day out with your boyfriend has now turned into a stupid baby daycare session.
"I’m coming over." Jaemin replied. Too tired to respond back, you left him on read, the most recent evolved habit of yours.
Fifteen minutes later, you heard the door knock. You were sure it was Jaemin, but you would have been happier if the adults returned home. Oh, how badly you wish they could come and collect their devil bags. You were done.
"Hi!" Greeted Jaemin with his bunny smile and sparkling eyes. Either it was his caffeine addiction and espresso shots, or this boy just naturally never lacked energy, as cheerful as ever. For a moment you were lost, thinking of how jealous you were of him.
"Hey? Y/N, You alright?" He now clicked his fingers in front of your eyes, trying to grab your attention.
"Oh yeah, Hi Jaem! Come in!" You welcomed him inside and he was astonished to say the least upon viewing your otherwise immaculate house. Cushions on the floor acting as rugs, Legos, deadly little Lego pieces that no one would ever want to step on scattered. Chocolate bar wrappers and unwrapped stationery placed themselves at questionable places and oh, dear, your dad’s broken vinyl record.
Clearing his throat, Jaemin now took a glance at you. Shirt half tucking in, messy hair bun that was too messy to be considered fashionable, and mismatched pair of socks. They eyebags added more to your tired appearance.
"Are the kids bullying you?" Jaemin teased. It was meant to lighten up the atmosphere but Jaemin showcased his sense of humor at the wrong timing. You did not care that he was your boyfriend.
"More like do you want me to bully you?" You raged at him. Jaemin flinched for a second, but he was quick enough to realize it was not you but your sleep ridden, tired and annoyed soul shouting at him. If this boy could handle your PMS, this little incident was not a big game for him.
In a flash, he pulled you into a hug. The arms that could comfort you, anytime. It felt so comfortable that you could sleep in them for a lifetime. Plus his cologne added more to the vibe.
"I’m sorry". He comforted you as he pecked your forehead, squeezing you even tighter. "How about you go take a nap? You really need some rest right now." He offered and you were keen to accept it but you had family obligations.
"But them, these kids, Jaemin there are five of them and they are evil". You ranted out, almost on the verge of tears. "I’ll look after them". He stated, ready to take on the responsibility. You looked up at him, wearing a doubtful expression. "Oh, come on, I really can! If I can look after Jisung, your cousins are no big deal!", He justified.
"Jisung is fucking twenty." You reverted. How could Jaemin compare his two-years younger friend to babysitting. Jaemin was funny indeed and he sure knew how to lift your mood up.
He grinned at your response and headed the two of you into your room. Managing to scrape out some clean and comfy space of your bed that met with the fate of the toddlers. Jaemin planted a kiss on your forehead as you drifted to sleep.
Three and a half hours later you were woken up by more giggles, one of which seemed too gigantic to belong to a kid. You stepped out of your now-in-place room, rubbing your eyes in disbelief.
There sat Jaemin and the five cousins, with cookies in their hands as they watched Frozen on the TV. The aroma of freshly baked gourmets filled the entire living room, which had been restored to its original state.
You were beyond happy. Did Jaemin do all of this? Well, of course he did. There was no Gennie that could otherwise have done those little wonders.
"Hey Guys! Enjoying yourselves?" you inquired. Grins and cheers mixed with "Yep" responses answered you back.
"We baked cookies, do you want some?" commented one of the little devils, who now seemed to appear rather cute.
"We also cleaned up! Don’t this look shiny now?" said the other, who could barely speak with the stuffed food in her mouth.
"Jaemin you really tamed them like woah?! I never knew you were good with kids!" You exclaimed, returning back to your his arms as he rose from his seat. "Oh, I’m just good with so many things, It’s time you start acknowledging." Jaemin started off.
"Hmm, like? what else are you good at? Na Jaemin? Show me!" You whispered ever so sensually. Jaemin’s throat gulped and his gaze grew darker.
"AHEM AHEM!" You looked over to see the eldest of the kids, who was hardly six, covering his eyes. The others mimicked him.
“Mom taught us to cover the eyes and ears in front of adult things.”
"Don’t be a bad influence on your cousins, you know they are hard to tame, just like you". advised your boyfriend, with his cheeky grin taking over his face again.
You loved this boy.

Funny idea.
You ever wonder if after Mr. Compress seems to handle a sad moment fine, he walks away later and we see tears gushing out of the eye holes of his mask similar to how Izuku's mom cries geysers?
or would it be something like this?:

I never wanted to fuck Link before, but now...?
Ncfs underneath
I’d let him breed me like it would be the only way to defeat Ganon.
I wanna be sore in the morning after he’s done with me.
I want him to put his hand on my head, slide his cock down my throat and use me like a fleshlight until he brushes his hair back and cums down my throat.
I want to lick his cock like a popsicle on a hot day, licking up the precum that drips down.
I want to ride him like the stallion he is.
I want to help continue his bloodline by carrying his children.
I would do so much to/with him.

Zimbra desktop replacement software#
Microsoft Outlook is commercial software and comes with Microsoft Office.See this article for more detail on why you should replace it. Microsoft Outlook Express is very outdated, has serious security problems, is no longer supported by Microsoft and is not recommended by NCF.Once it is installed on your computer, you need to configure it so it knows from where to retrieve/send your email.
Zimbra desktop replacement download#
If you do not have a mail reader, you can download one for free.
Zimbra desktop replacement free#
Some common current mail clients, all available for freeload of charge, are: For an overview of the benefits of Zimbra, please visit the Introducing Zimbra page.ÄŻor specific and detailed help on all things Zimbra, visit the Zimbra Help Page. The NCF Webmail system runs the Zimbra mail system. NCF's storage capacity increases regularly as facilities are upgraded. Up to 5GB of email can be accumulated and stored in your WebMail Inbox and folders.
Zimbra desktop replacement install#
There is nothing to install on your computer. You can try WebMail by going to the StartPage and clicking on 'Get your NCF WebMail'. To use it, all you need is a web browser and connection to the Internet. Your mail stays on the NCF's mail server. It is the easiest way to send and receive email while you are away from home. NCF Webmail allows you to compose, send, receive and manage your email using any browser. If you have large distribution lists that will exceed this, please contact the office - we have a solution. A limit of 200 messages over a 4 hour span is in place.
Sending rate - NCF limits the rate at which members can send out email to protect against spamming.
One of those is using the Zimbra Briefcase - see Zimbra: Briefcase. If you have large files that you wish to share, there are a number of other file sharing approaches that may be better than attachments. The actual file size of the attachment is 20-30% less, as special encoding is required to send it via email.
Mail message size - a maximum of of 56MB per message is allowed.
Members must manage their space within that limit. This contains all the mail and briefcase data.
Mail storage size - members are allocated 5GB of storage.
There are several limits you may encounter in your use of Zimbra. In the past personal computer-based mail clients were dominant, but in recent years the trend has been away from mail clients and towards server-based webmail, because of the convenience of being able to access the mail from any browser anywhere, even from phones and hand-held devices, as well as automatic back-ups. A disadvantage is that your mail is only accessible while you are at your own computer.
Zimbra desktop replacement archive#
The size of your mail archive can be as large as your hard drive. Using an email client (on your personal computer) Email client software allows your email to be transferred to your computer and then read there. A disadvantage of using WebMail is that you have to stay connected to the internet while you are reading and composing your email. With WebMail, your email stays on the computers at NCF and is backed up there, too, to protect against loss. You read and send mail from the browser using the Zimbra interface and your mail is stored on an NCF computer. Using NCF WebMail (browser-based) All you need to use WebMail is a web browser connected to the internet (eg., home, office, library, internet cafe, anywhere in the world via internet). Incoming email for you is stored on NCF's computer until you ask for it. NCF needs to be able to reach you about your account. NCF email addresses are simply a member's account ID (eg., 'ab123') followed by for example, you can arrange for an email alias, for example, If you already have an email address and do not plan to use your NCF email address, be sure to tell us, using Change Preferences at the bottom-right of the StartPage. NCF provides every member with a personal email address.
4.2 I can receive email, but I can't send! (Relay Access Denied).

Review: Furutech e-TP80 Passive Power Distributor by MGD
Tumblr media
Furutech e-TP80 Passive Power Distributor
The Audiophile Weekend Warrior (TAWW)
TAWW Rating: 4.5 / 5
A no-compromise power strip to take your system the final mile to greatness.
PROS: Top-to-bottom purity, detail and dynamics; no discernible sins of omission or commission; superb build quality.
CONS: Won't help a mediocre system or transform bad power; look elsewhere if you want fancy features like switching or power factor correction.
It started back in the middle 80s, or so. That’s when I remember the initial stirrings about how changes to AC related components could improve the sound of a stereo system. I recall reading about power cords in Stereophile magazine for the first time. How odd that something, a mere conductor of electricity, could impact the music coming out of speakers. After all, the tiny voltages carrying the musical signal are greatly isolated from the raw energy coming out of a wall. Large transformers, and filter caps measuring many thousands of ”F were there for a reason. Their job, or so I thought, was to take power generated many miles away in a plant burning coal, or plutonium or something, and turn it into my music. And between my house and the power plant there were, and still are, literally, tons of cable suspended from towering utility poles traversing pastures, forests and interstate highways. Next to the street I’m on, there is a wooden pole with a rather large transformer affixed to its top. Wires go in and wires come out; several of those wires go to my house – they power my stereo.
The trek of electrons starting so many miles away ends at my wall. Of course, those electrons also power the microwave, refrigerator, clocks, lightbulbs and any number of things populating a modern home. It’s something I take for granted until for some reason the power goes out. It’s only then that I think of ways to punish the power company for my inconvenience. Otherwise, one electron is as good as another for making sure my clock radio comes on as directed every morning. It’s a 60 Hz sine wave after all, what’s the big deal. Where I live, the voltage hovers around 122 volts with amperage sufficient to fry your eyeballs if you touch it with impunity. And while the voltage is a little high, it’s not enough to cause reliability problems or overcooked appliances. How then, could my stereo be materially and substantially changed sonically by 6 feet of cable and what amounts to a power strip? I don’t really know the answer to my self-imposed question. But I do know, and I don’t care what the uninformed, and delusional naysayers say, I can make a sound system suck or sing with the right combination of power cords and AC line conditioning. Yes, the last six feet does make a difference.
Ironically, the first power cord review I recall reading in Stereophile was negative. The writer heard a difference with the insertion of the cord, but he didn’t like it. I remember, when reading his many complaints, that the entire concept of an aftermarket power cord perplexed him. How could a cord plugged into a preamplifier make any difference good or bad? In retrospect, I’ll bet that the reviewer got a cord wired with the polarity reversed. Otherwise, it should have sounded better with something. During the over twenty years that I spent listening to power cords for Bound for Sound, only once did I come across a cord that sounded bad at everything and with every component I tried it with. I won’t name the manufacturer, he’s gone, the market took care of him, but over the years I’ve auditioned over 200 different cords, and reviewed a goodly number of those, and if I’ve learned anything it’s – never think you’ve got it all figured out
 because, you don’t.
THE HARDWARE
I could cover these components together, but I choose not to. Elite Audio/Video sent me two power cords and an e-TP80 Power Distributor ($1,995), all from Furutech – I like them a lot. For some, the e-TP80 is nothing more than a glorified, and expensive, power strip. Thinking that would be a mistake. The version sent to me is filled with some nice distributor-added options such as the special production AC outlets, all eight of them. These AC outlets (GTX-NCF) are anything but ordinary. The inner workings are Rhodium over pure copper. The Rhodium is super polished for an ultra-smooth contact area for hooking up with high-end AC plugs. Stainless steel springs are used to maintain pressure at the contact points. The iec connector has pure copper tongs. The Furutech even has negative ions inside! It’s a granular material called 3M CG303. I looked up what an ion is and discovered that it’s an atom that has either gained or lost an electron. If it has lost an electron, it’s a positive ion. If the atom has gained an electron, it is a negative ion. The Director has a bunch of negative ions inside it, or so Furutech says. I don’t know where they came up with the extra electrons, and I don’t know how negative ions are good for a sound system. All I know, is that from the overall performance of this device, negative ions are a good thing. The chassis is extremely well made, and to the hand, it feels like it weighs more than it should. It has the feel of something intended to be elite.
Tumblr media
Wiring inside of the e-TP80 is solid core Furutech. What I’ve described for you are the extras added goodies which set this Elite (Scot) modified e-TP80 above the standard Furutech Power Distributor which runs a sweet $799.00. I trust that the standard Furutech Distributor is a great product and excellent value. In my opinion, however, the Elite modified unit is in a class all of its own.
When compared to the price fetched by some things audiophile, the price of the Director at $1,995.00 isn’t that bad. More than mad money, it’s still within range for the serious music lover, plus the eight additional outlets where you need them is priceless. Nothing worse than having a single outlet with two plugs out of reach of even your longest power cords. There are power strip options, everything from cheap plastic strips for sale at Walmart to slightly upscale versions of the same sold at Menards and Lowe’s. EBay has lots of nice looking strips one can basically order direct from China
nice looking pieces that hide their internal workings and offer no domestic support in case of problems. I can assure you that everything coming from Furutech is quality made and that Elite backs it up 100%.
[Editor note: Also beware counterfeits! Apparently there are fake Furutech (and Cardas, and Nordost, etc. etc.) parts being peddled that look all but identical to the real thing. Always buy from a trusted authorized source - if it seems too good to be true, it is. -MIY]
The Power Director has an IEC connector for use with a quality power cord. On top of the Distributor are four duplex electrical outlets. To the left are the outlets for low draw items such as preamps, DACs and the like. The DAC outlets have a simple, but effective, RFI/EMI circuit. To the right are outlets for heavier draw components such as televisions, power amps and subwoofers. Eight outlets in all. It’s not terribly important regarding what outlets you plug things into, but, I wouldn’t plug a large power amp into the DAC outlet, but that’s about it. The finishing touch is unit demagnetization and deep cryo freezing.
A POWER CORD
Tumblr media
As I indicated earlier, I’m not going to cover the power cord section of this evaluation in the here and now. There are good reasons for that. What I can say is that the Furutech power cords sent to me are superb – perfect complements to the Power Distributor. The dynamic range they impart to a system is outstanding – NO compression whatsoever (they will pin your ears back). Persons with knowledge of various AC power conditioning and filtering techniques know that the price to be paid for a sense of tonal purity and imaging is oftentimes dynamic compression or a “softening” of edges. The natural expansion of dynamics with the Distributor and the Furutech power cords is as good as I’ve heard. I can discern no lessening, softening or compression of dynamics, contours or edges. And so as not to give the readers of TAWW the old soft shoe shuffle, I’ll be specific: I am very familiar with the LessLoss Firewall, PS Audio AC regenerators, various isolation transformers, battery powered AC such as the old Mark Brassfield, Tripplite, Audience (early model) and a friend’s Furman – and I like the Furutech the best. The Furutech Power Distributor is my “go to” device when determining what clean AC should sound like. But this is not a review of the Furutech power cords, as I have a conflict of interest regarding power cords: I make my own. It would not be fair to Furutech or myself (especially myself) to evaluate the Furutech power cords when I most certainly am biased in my assessment of power cords. For that reason, as much as I really like the Furutech power cords (and am not ashamed to say so), MIY will be reviewing them. He can say whatever he wants.
BACK TO THE POWER DIRECTOR
Now, that the cat is out of the bag, allow me to tell you what the Furutech AC Distributor does, and doesn’t do, so that you can make a determination if an audition is in order. The finest AC treatment architectures do some things very well. Almost all of the finer units have some very positive strengths. And in almost all AC units, the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. Otherwise there would be no reason to purchase any of them. However, I have yet to hear a single conventional AC treatment unit that didn’t have some form of negative associated with its performance. I hear no negatives with use of the Furutech Power Distributor. Among all of the positives heard with the PS Audio AC regenerators, after a while a heaviness, some call it a darkness, sets in that I wasn’t crazy about. Upon extended use I observed the Firewall to be softening transient information ever so much. In other ways it is exemplary. The Monarchy isolation transformer is a superb device, and I still use one. But use it long enough and one notices a subtle compression of extreme dynamics and a small curtailment of the extreme bass. All livable things made obvious after using the Furutech Power Distributor.
I am hesitant to say, but will anyway, that the greatest strength of the Director is that it does nothing negative to the sound, the absolute glory of the music shines forth. Listening notes confirm it, the Director strips away electronic artifacts by the boatload. The music is laid bare to observation, negative artifacts which ordinarily adorn the music in sometimes subtle ways are eliminated. Bass previously scrubbed away is realistically restored to a clean replica of that recorded. Dynamic contrasts, along with ambient details are again, laid bare. The “air” and natural space around performers is not exaggerated, still, if anything, it’s more recognizable than ever. This is the kind of product that refuses to impart enormous changes upon a sound system that is otherwise in need of a major overhaul, it doesn’t do huge things. Instead it does those small things that are not available elsewhere. Instead, it acts as a finisher. It’s where you go when you think your system is finished and its performance is already the envy of your friends, audiophile and non-audiophile, alike. It will not transform something mediocre into something wonderful. If it’s a miracle you need, then I’d go PS Audio or LessLoss. The Furutech is more of a “closer” than it is a middle relief man.
CONCLUSION
The basic Power Distributor can be purchased for less than $1,995.00. But the lower priced Distributors do not have the Rhodium over copper duplex outlets (all highly polished and so perfectly fitted for your AC plugs), along with a few other refinements that seem to further heighten performance. The top-of-the-line Furutech is a high-end performer that makes no compromises in terms of parts quality and construction. It’s what you give to the audiophile that has everything.

‘Stigmata’ pages 1-5
After Holy Crapola and Booze and Blood, me and my university friends Adam and James started another collaborative comic. Ironically, even though this comic is the most recent one we did, I can’t remember much about doing it. :/
The same ground rules were in place as with the previous collaborative comics: we go in a rotation: me then Adam, then James, then me again. One page minimum per submission. Don’t worry about production value, just enjoy the creative process. Do as little or as much as you want to make your point/advance the plot.
All characters are original and we have not agreed on any plot points at all before or during the run. We use software of our choosing, with all of us having used Photoshop prior until I made the change to Clip Studio Paint during Booze and Blood.
Pages 1-5 by me
I was left to my own devices about how to start this. I may or may not have floated some vague ideas to the guys to gauge interest. I don’t recall. I do remember that I was reading stuff like The Punisher and Nick Fury at the time, Marvel Max comics with quite a high amount of cynicism, gore and bad language. Just my cup of tea lol ;p
Something has happened and the main character is in a dangerous situation as a result of it. It would be left to Adam and/or James to establish what that was. When Agent Lazarus reveals his Albert Wesker eyes, who knows what would happen next? I’m pretty sure neither of my friends are so familiar with Resident Evil that they would notice that, and I didn’t explain.
I enjoyed setting the stage, throwing in references to the past in the dialogue, things Adam and James can reference moving forward, or not.
I wrote Lazarus with a mocking, ironic civility in his tone. I have no idea if that is something the reader can pick up on. It is intended to be subtle.  I tried some stuff with the lighting using airbrush techniques. I also went for at least one extreme perspective shot that, to this day, I doubt I could nail. It’s worth trying to push things. That’s how we grow ;)
I call it ‘stigmata’ for reasons that will shortly become apparent, but we never agreed on a name for this. I labelled the jpegs NCF, but can’t remember why. Oh dear ;p

Reader’s Showcase: Kinderhook-Linderpark
by Peter Huntoon
Shown is a great pair of $2 Original Series counterfeits respectively on The National Union Banks of Kinderhook, NY, and Linderpark, NY. The first is charter 929, the second a fabricated town name. Both are listed in vintage counterfeit detectors, and both are from the same plate.
When the Kinderhook version hit the counterfeit detectors, the counterfeiter simply changed the town name by altering four letters and then continued to spread his joy for as long it would work. He did a poor job altering the script location, but who would notice? Notice also that he didn’t bother to change the serial numbers, which are A445806 blue/1925.
If you enjoy numismatic irony, you will find that the Kinderhook variety is reported three times in the National Currency Foundation census where specimens are listed separately under the Treasury serial alone, once with both serials correct, and the third with a misreported bank serial of 1929, probably because that one is in terrible shape. You can bet that one or more of the reported notes is considered genuine by its eager owner! Sorry about the poor photo of the Kinderhook. I lifted it from the NCF website as the only photo available to me. The Linderpark went by on Ebay in January. Bob Hearn brought it to my attention and Joseph Boling linked it to the Kinderhook version for me.

Description of NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions
The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005, recommends that children’s life at school must be linked to their life outside the school. This principle marks a departure from the legacy of bookish learning which continues to shape our system and causes a gap between the school, home and community. The syllabus and textbooks developed on the basis of NCF signify an attempt to implement this basic idea. They also attempt to discourage rote learning and the maintenance of sharp boundaries between different subject areas. We hope these measures will take us significantly further in the direction of a child-centered system of education outlined in the National Policy on Education (1986). The success of this effort depends on the steps that school principals and teachers will take to encourage children to reflect on their own learning and to pursue imaginative activities and questions. We must recognize that, given space, time and freedom, children generate new knowledge by engaging with the information passed on to them by adults. Treating the prescribed textbook as the sole basis of examination is one of the key reasons why other resources and sites of learning are ignored. Inculcating creativity and initiative is possible if we perceive and treat children as participants in learning, not as receivers of a fixed body of knowledge. These aims imply considerable change in school routines and mode of functioning. Flexibility in the daily time-table is as necessary as rigor in implementing the annual calendar so that the required number of teaching days are actually devoted to teaching. The methods used for teaching and evaluation will also determine how effective NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions textbook proves for making children’s life at school a happy experience, rather than a source of stress or boredom. Syllabus designers have tried to address the problem of curricular burden by restructuring and reorienting knowledge at different stages with greater consideration for child psychology and the time available for teaching. The textbook attempts to enhance this endeavor by giving higher priority and space to opportunities for contemplation and wondering, discussion in small groups, and activities requiring hands-on experience. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) appreciates the hard work done by the textbook development committee responsible for NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions book. We wish to thank the Chairperson of the advisory group in science and mathematics, Professor J.V. Narlikar and the Chief Adviser for NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions book, Professor K. Muralidhar, Department of Zoology, University of Delhi, Delhi for guiding the work of this committee. Several teachers contributed to the development of NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions textbook. We are grateful to their principals for making this possible. We are indebted to the institutions and organisations which have generously permitted us to draw upon their resources, material and personnel. We are especially grateful to the members of the National Monitoring Committee, appointed by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development under the Chairperson-ship of Professor Mrinal Miri and Professor G.P. Deshpande, for their valuable time and contribution. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) gratefully acknowledges the contribution of the individuals and organisations involved in the development of the Biology textbook for Class XI. The Council is grateful to Arvind Gupte, Principal (Retd.), Government Collegiate Education Services, Madhya Pradesh; Shailaja Hittalmani, Associate Professor (Genetics), University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore; K.R. Srivastava, Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Hamdard University, New Delhi and Pramila Shivanna, former Teacher, D.A.V. School, Delhi, for their valuable suggestions. The Council is also thankful to V.K. Bhasin, Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, University of Delhi, Delhi; P.P. Bakre, Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and Savithri Singh, Principal, Acharya Narendra Dev College, New Delhi for their support. The Council is also grateful to B.K. Gupta, Scientist, Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi for providing pictures of zoological parks and Sameer Singh for the pictures on the front and back cover.  All the other photographs used in the book provided by Savithri Singh and taken at either at NCERT, IARI Campus or Acharya Narendra Dev College is gratefully acknowledged. NCERT sincerely acknowledges the contributions of the members who participated in the review of the manuscripts – M.K. Tiwari, PGT (Biology), Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh; Maria Gracias Fernandes, PGT (Biology), G.V.M.S. Higher Secondary, Ponda, Goa; A.K. Pandey, Principal, Ordinance Factory Sr. Sec. School, pehradun. The Council is highly thankful to M. Chandra, Professor and Head, DESM; Hukum Singh, Professor, DESM, NCERT for their valuable support throughout the making of NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions book. The Council also gratefully acknowledges the contribution of Deepak Kapoor, Incharge, Computer Station; Mohd. Khalid Raza and Arvind Sharma, DTP operators; Saswati Banerjee and Hari Darshan Lodhi, Copy Editor; Archana Srivastava, Proof Reader and APC office and administrative staff of DESM, NCERT. The efforts of the Publication Department, NCERT in bringing out this publication are also appreciated. Biology is the science of life. It is the story of life on earth. It is the science of life forms and living processes. Biological systems, often appear to challenge physical laws that govern the behavior of matter and energy in our world. Historically, biological knowledge was ancillary to knowledge of human body and its function. The latter as we know, is the basis of medical practice. However, parts of biological knowledge developed independent of human application. Fundamental questions about origin of life, the origin and growth of biodiversity, the evolution of flora and fauna of different habitats, etc., caught the imagination of biologists. The very description of living organisms, be it from morphological perspective, physiological perspective, taxonomical perspective, etc., engaged scientists to such an extent that for sheer convenience, if not for anything else, the subject matter got artificially divided into the sub-disciplines of botany and zoology and later into even microbiology. Meanwhile, physical sciences made heavy inroads into biology, and established biochemistry and biophysics as new sub- disciplines of biology. Mendel’s work and its rediscovery in the early twentieth century led to the promotion of study of genetics. The discovery of the double-helical structure of DNA and the deciphering of three dimensional structures of many macro-molecules led to the establishment of and phenomenal growth in the dominating area of molecular biology. In a sense, functional disciplines laying emphasis on mechanisms underlying living processes, received more attention, support, intellectual and social recognition. Biology, unfortunately, got divided into classical and modern biology. To the majority of practicing biologists, pursuit of biological research became more empirical rather than a curiosity and hypothesis driven intellectual exercise as is the case with theoretical physics, experimental physics, structural chemistry and material science. Fortunately and quietly, general unifying principles of biology were also being discovered, rediscovered and emphasized. The work of Mayr, Dobhzhansky, Haldane, Perutz, Khorana, Morgan, Darlington, Fisher and many others brought respect and seriousness to both classical and molecular biological disciplines. Ecology and Systems biology got established as unifying biological disciplines. Every area of biology began developing interface with not only other areas of biology but also other disciplines of science and mathematics. Pretty soon, the boundaries became porous. They are now on the verge of disappearing altogether. Progress in human biology, biomedical sciences, especially the structure, functioning and evolution of human brain brought in respect, awe and philosophical insights to biology. Biology even stepped out of laboratories, museums and natural parks and raised social, economic and cultural issues capturing the imagination of general public and hence political attention. Educationists did not lag behind and realised that biology should be taught as an interdisciplinary and integrating science at all stages of educational training especially at school and undergraduate levels. A new synthesis of all areas of basic and applied areas of biology is the need of the hour. Biology has come of age. It has an independent set of concepts which are universal just like physics and chemistry and mathematics. The present volume is the first time presentation of the integrated biology for the school level children. One of the lacunae in biology teaching and study is the absence of integration with other disciplinary knowledge of physics, chemistry etc. Further many processes in plants, animals and microbes are similar when looked from physico-chemical perspective. Cell biology has brought out the unifying common cellular level activities underlying apparently diverse phenomena across plants, animals and microbes. Similarly, molecular science (e.g. biochemistry or molecular biology) has revealed the similar molecular mechanisms in all these apparently diverse organisms like plants, animals and microbes. Phenomena like respiration, metabolism, energy utilization, growth, reproduction and development can be discussed in a unifying manner rather than as separate unrelated processes in plants and animals. An attempt has been made to unify such diverse disciplines in the book. The integration achieved however, is partial and not complete. Hopefully along with changes in the teaching and learning context, to be brought out in the next few years, the next edition of NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions book will reveal more integration of botany, zoology and microbiology and truly reflect the true nature of biology – the future science of man by man and for man. NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions new textbook of Biology for class XI is a completely rewritten book in view of the syllabus revision and restructuring. It is also in accordance with the spirit of the National Curriculum Framework (2005) guidelines. The subject matter is presented under twenty-two chapters which are grouped under five thematic units. Each unit has a brief write up preceding the unit highlighting the essence of the chapters to follow under that unit. Each unit also has a biographical sketch of a prominent scientist in that area. Each chapter has, on the first page, a detailed table of contents giving sub-headings within the chapter. Decimal system using Arabic numerals has been employed to indicate these sub-headings. At the end of each chapter a brief summary is provided. This brings to the notice of the student, what she/he is supposed to have learnt by studying the chapter. A set of questions is also provided at the conclusion of each chapter. These questions are essentially to enable the student to test herself/himself as to how much she/he has understood the subject matter. There are questions which are purely of information recall type; there are questions which need analytical thinking to answer and hence test true understanding; there are questions which are problems to solve and finally there are questions which need analysis and speculation as there is no one to answer to such questions. This tests the critical understanding of the subject matter in the mind of the student. Special emphasis has been given on the narrative style, illustrations, activity exercises, clarity of expression, coverage of topics within the available time in school. A large number of extremely talented and dedicated people including practicing teachers helped in bringing out NCERT Biology Class 11 Solutions book. Our main purpose was to make sure that school level biology is not a burden for students and teachers. We sincerely wish that teaching biology and learning biology would become an enjoyable activity.

Ncfs Chester stuff (also reader is afab):
So we've all heard of the thing about the inside of the anus is hot enough to cook a hard-boiled egg, right?
Imagine Chester wanting to test that theory.
He requests for you to come over and bring a carton of eggs with you. You're not sure why he needed eggs, but you do it anyways.
When you get there, he tells you to strip.
You're really confused, but the way he orders you to do it turns you on, so you do as he says.
Next thing you know, you're upside down, legs bent towards you, feet dangling by your head, ass straight in the air. He also put a gag on your mouth, to keep you quiet.
You felt your face flush and hoped to God he doesn't notice your pussy growing wet.
He walks up to you, looks over your form, and smirks.
As he puts on medical gloves, he says, "Let's begin the experiment."
He places his now gloved hand on your pussy and starts to rub it, his fingers starting to glisten.
A few noises escape your mouth but are halted by the gag. His cold hand felt really good.
"First step is lubrication."
He then plunges two fingers into your pussy and starts to pump, causing you to moan.
His cold digits in your hot cunt are already driving you mad.
After a few pumps, he takes his fingers out, causing a whine to leave your mouth as you move a bit, showing you wanted more.
He takes a small metal rod and gives you a small shock of electricity, causing you to freeze.
"Be still. We're just getting started."
He then rubs the wet fingers on your anus and you feel your anus clench at his touch.
He then slides a finger inside, slowly pumping in and out.
You let out a soft moan, which causes Chester to grow harder than he was before.
He soon slides the second finger in, pumping in two fingers now.
He almost got distracted by seeing your pussy twitch uncontrollably before he grabbed an egg from the carton.
"Now we put the first few eggs in."
He slowly spread your asshole with his fingers, the moans becoming a bit more high pitched as tears started to escape from your eyes.
It hurt a little bit, but it felt so good...
Once the hole was wide enough, he carefully slipped about 3 eggs in and let go of your hole, letting it return to its original shape.
You could feel the eggs inside you and tried your best not to move. They felt so cold inside your ass and they made you feel full.
Chester watched your reactions and then had an idea that would help both pass the time and begin the final step.
He went to his cupboard and looked amongst his collection of beakers, flasks, and test tubes.
He then reached in and collected his choice, a large test tube he found that must've been a mistake during production, because it was just a fully solid glass rod.
It was the perfect size for his plan.
He walked back to you and slowly slid the glass rod into your pussy, moans escaping your mouth.
He pumped and pumped and moved it around, watching as your eyes rolled back in pleasure.
Your slick coating the clear rod, making Chester grin.
It wasn't too much longer til you felt that familiar build-up sensation in your abdomen, and you knew what was gonna happen.
You tried to fight it because you were afraid the eggs would break, but he just kept going and it felt too good.
Then when it hit your spot, it was too late.
You came and felt your juices drip up your stomach and heard three distant soft thuds on the floor.
Turns out the orgasm was powerful enough to push the eggs out.
Chester noticed that they didnt burst open, so he took one to his desk and cut it with a knife.
Fully hard-boiled. The experiment was a success.
"Experiment over."
He walked back to you and undid your binds, letting you lay on a nearby cot.
"Well done, partner. Thank you for your assistance. It was a success."
You deliriously made a happy noise.
Then he started to undress.
"Looks like you deserve a reward."
Hours later, your mind was just gone, nothing but the feeling of his cock ramming into your pussy filled your mind.
Chester bit his lip so hard, it would've bled. The overstimulation was driving him to thrust even harder into you.
"Scheiße.." he groaned out.
He kept you there until he was spent, both your holes just filled to the brim with his ectoplasm (cum).
As you started to black out, you thought about how you looked forward to the next experiment.

Scheiße = Fuck
