Goodbye’s at The Trustee with Katie and Esther

-- Week 0 --

This week - my final week in Perth - was full of final coffee dates, running around to 21st’s, completing preparations for the Law School Ball which I was in charge of organising, and making it to my own goodbye celebrations.

Attending my friend Ashley’s 21st birthday and seeing the NDLSS girls for ball preparations (with wine and platters, of course!) was a lovely way to spend my final Saturday and Sunday evenings in Perth. Between work and packing, I managed to fit in coffee dates with my best friend, Bec, as well a few breakfast date’s with myself. Now, these weren’t lonely breakfast dates and they really allowed me to be mindful of everything the following year is going to bring as well as have some well-needed alone time!

This week ended with a big family dinner on August 10th before my flight to Atlanta - chinese food, of course (and most definitely my first order when back in AUS in July next year!!)

The past 12 weeks have flown by - with one week to settle in and 11 weeks of college classes now completed. There has been every kind of experience, friendship and weather already - and now it is finally sunny, and not humid, and cool enough to open the window, sit beneath it with a cup of tea, feel the warm sun on my back and write.

So, please stand by while i try to remember all the things, and write them down in this very long post (in several parts, for your convenience!).
