please tell me your kim headcanons i'm dying to know

They're just theories, really. It's fun to have an original character who doesn't appear in the novel but might or might not be based on some of the side characters.

Kim might be the series' version of Six, Babe's rival (and old flame? But Kim's definitely nothing of the sort since he and Babe didn't know each other prior to him driving for Red Racing). Six is an alpha and his special abilities help save the day later on (SPOILERS: his powers are mass hallucinations and so strong that he's not allowed to use them - yes there's a special omegaverse police apparently 🤡). But idk, if Kim had these kinds of powers he'd have used them by now to escape his captors, right?

Or maybe he hasn't used them because he and Kenta are plotting. I know, Kenta has chemistry with everyone but the actors promote together so KentaKim will be a thing, right? (Right? 🥺). It's canon that Kenta isn't as loyal as we think but he can't openly oppose Tony so he's scheming behind the scenes. And who better to scheme with than Kim? What if Kim is precisely where he needs to be in order to help bring down Tony's empire? That would explain why he's not keen at all to leave.

That being said, I just love how Kim is actually major main character material. Imagine watching the series entirely from his perspective - it would not only make sense but be insanely good too. Kim is basically the protagonist of the racing BL they baited us with. I was actually so disappointed these past few eps that he didn't have more scenes. I'd have loved to see him investige Tony more, or see his hotel room fight (no way the blood was all his). Hell, I'd read write read fic!

But yeah, then there's also my (now not so) secret headcanon that Kim is an omega because it would be amazing to see an omega kick arse and save the day. But mostly I think it would tick off Winner so bad if he lost against an omega (because he's probably that pathetic and cringe). Pit Babe is already such an unconventional omegaverse story (or idk it's my first omegaverse story lmao) so what's one more trope subverted? 🙏
