When I was younger, instead of sending us to summer camp, my mum used take me and my sisters to the arts and crafts shop, then would spend hours creating with us. I’ve always loved it, for having quality time with my mother and sisters, for being fun and creative. Now that I’ve had a long, unexpected period of time without work and leaving the house, I found that I have more time to do just that, be creative again, make things that I normally wouldn’t have time for. Just for the fun of it. So I took the two recycling bags filled with used Nespresso capsules, which I never got around to actually recycling, and got to working. Once I got into it, I couldn’t stop, I was having so much fun, it was like therapy for my soul. I’ve always loved just finding things you wouldn’t normally see as art, take them apart and create them into something new. • • How about you?
