THE DICE HAS STOPPED ROLLING... BUT NEVER SAY NEVER.

In the garden of bright neon light and the heavy breaths around a glittering table, the secrets of Nevada splatter newspapers and screens in bright red. Las Vegas wasn’t built in a day, and when the seven wonders were brought to the desert so were the seven sins. The downfall of some of the darkest and most powerful forces are a result of no more than their own humanity, and quiet possibly, the last spark of morality. 

Everyone suspects themselves of at least one of those sins in order to claim what they’ve been denied, but in Nevada, the victors are the ones who write anyone’s claim to fame. Each soul that walks the gardens have an opportunity to roll the dice, and they’ve finally come to a stop. It doesn’t matter if you are a snake in the sand, a hidden fox, a wolf lurking in the shadows, or a man of his word. No one can escape the single force of nature even Las Vegas’ deserts can’t burn out— time. And our time is up. You either got busy living, or you got busy dying. 

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure and retirement of Never Nevada HQ. We made it to over a year and fulfilled a total of six full events with over twelve chapters of evolving plot lines between them, a major plot drop, over one hundred characters passed through our doors, at least three character resurrections that made us go sike!, and endless plotting and connections. This group is everything I could have hoped for and more, and I thank all of you for your dedication and your interest. It has only made it this far because of the foundation of every roleplay, which is to write and express creativity above all else. 

The dashboard has slowed down in the last couple of months, and I have decided that the group as a whole has come to a close. Our last event was a great way to end with a bang, revealing one of our crime organizations to the public eye. We end on one final message in-character, and that is that no amount of power deems you invincible against consequence. Every gray moral character will have to color right from wrong, and even those with a black and white concept of the world has to accept that they bleed together at times. 

Once again, thank you all so much for bringing this group together and I hope to write with all of you in the future. Hopefully, Never Nevada HQ can return with a new chapter with dearly loved and new muses. Until then, never say never.

IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION

As of right now, the only organizations with crime roles in play are the Asenas and the Brothers of Ichor. However, there are a few characters affiliated with the White Snakes and Foxes despite the pending formal introduction of both organizations. These characters are aware of who is a fellow affiliate, their crime organization’s roles and hierarchy, and marks. However, other organizations and civilians are not as aware. 

CRIME ORGANIZATIONS: As a whole, all of the crime organizations in Vegas are not known with the exception of the Brothers of Ichor who are very open about their status. They simply try to not advertise their crimes in case the wrong person hears. People have their suspicions about the others, none the less. 

THE ASENAS: It is known that the Bosnak family owns the Asena Bank and their casino, and that a loan gets approved nearly every time at the bank. They know it must come with strings attached but only those desperate enough will find out. Only members know of their mark and their hierarchy.

THE BROTHERS OF ICHOR: This is the only forthright crime organization in Vegas who does not hide their “potential” criminal status. Their territories are known as well as their symbol, a sword set aflame with three crimson droplets.

THE WHITE SNAKES: Regarding the White Snakes, they are the most secretive of all organizations and there presence is relatively unknown. No organization or individual knows of the White Snake Society or their members. The specialize in forgery and their services can be sought out through Vermillion, an antique shop in downtown Vegas, for the right price. Vermillion also specializes in reselling and hiding evidence that comes in the form of furniture and other items from crime scenes that certain patrons would like to not be found or connected to them. These items are cleaned, refurbished, or even rebranded to get into a whole new set of hands. The only organization that is aware of the White Snake Society are Fox members due to a feud from more than a decade ago. White Snakes members recognize each other.

THE FOXES: The Foxes are believed to be no more than another large family in Vegas with too much money. They are known to be desperate to Americanize themselves as the family last name is actually Lysytsyna, which translates to fox from Ukrainian. You can catch a Fox family correcting their name to the English translation. All that is known is that Brothers of Ichor affiliates have buyers for any weapon shipments from interstate robberies, and have also gotten cornered by unknown individuals concerning the interruption of certain shipments. There are suspicions as to how the Foxes came into money so quickly, but many have attributed it to luck. There was a shooting in front of Vicky’s a few months ago where Ollie Fox was killed.

APPLICATIONS & RESERVATIONS

Next week will be the last week that you can apply for two characters seven days prior to your last acceptance.

Face claim and role reservations will be reset starting 11/15 and face claim reservations will only last up to 24 hours upon request. However, if a character application is sent in but is pending a plot drop, connection, etc. it can be kept on reserve. 

If you do not meet activity on activity check day or are coming off a hiatus, you must wait a week to either improve or resume activity before taking on a new character. After meeting activity for a week, you can send in a new character application.

Wow, this is the first really interesting RP i've seen in the tags in a while!! I'm having fun pouring over the lore and pages. I know you have a wanted connections list, but in general, do you have any TYPES of characters you think would be useful to the dash, or from certain organizations? Also, do you have any FCs that in general, the members/admins would really like to see? FCs sort of overwhelm me because there's so many great ones I never know where to start! Male or NB preferred! CRIME ROLE | Kurok: Named after the trigger part of a gun, these are the sales associates of the Foxes who specialize in the arms dealing that funds a large part of the organization. They report directly to the Obshchak. There are five positions, and all must be initiated and marked.

LOCATION | Vedogon & Fire: Known for their array of weaponry and hunting gear, Vedogon & Fire is a lucrative armory store located off the strip. It is next door to their own personal gun range where patrons can test their gear before committing. The staff can be standoffish but many claim it’s a taste of the wild where the weapons are intended for use, because man vs. nature is a lonely tale.
