beyoncé getting shut out of AOTY time and time again and then next year she's going to compete with taylor the queen of the world immediately after an undeserved AOTY win year for her and then in 2025 she is going to finally win with a country album defeating taylor the academy darling who frequently wins AOTY and who came up in country in an ultimate act of irony yes yes im seeing the vision it's all coming together i understand her artpop now

I actually don't expect an album until May-ish 2025. I think he's going to rest on the laurels of getting aoty for three full years and Columbia will be happy to accommodate that, considering their artists Adele and Beyonce took six years to record their most recent albums.

Harry likes to have at least 6 weeks solid in a residential studio with his writing team with no other distractions and there hasn't been space for that yet.

Of course Columbia will let an artist like Harry set his timetable (have we had official confirmation that he's re-signed?). But the question is what timetable will Harry set.

I don't think we know what he likes when recording an album. We also don't know what he finds most negotiable when there's competing pressures.

Like I said there are a huge range of options - I think we could get an album as early as May next year. Or it could be much further away. All we can do is wait.

2025 will be a drought for music help i mean in a way 2023 was very dry for most part lol

I don't agree that 2023 was a dry year for music (especially songs/singles, like it was strong enough that where Taylor usually gets 3 spots in my top 25 but only got 2 last year and one of those was The Alcott which wasn't even her song), but yeah I do actually wonder what 2025 is going to look like music wise, especially for pop acts. It wouldn't surprise me if we get a Taylor/Ariana situation where at least some pop acts release their next project 6 - 12 months after what they're releasing this year in order to be eligible for the 2026 grammys because let's be real, while there may be no sweepers, only one person can win each grammy and with so many pop acts releasing in time for the 2025 ones, it wouldn't surprise me if it split the vote and a non pop act wins AOTY next year, especially if there's a non Beyonce country album nominated and neither Beyonce nor Taylor can rely on those votes. But that's neither here nor there until we see who is actually nominated lmao.

They really just gave her AOTY for one of the most unremarkable projects in her discography they could've at least held out until 2025 because I'm sure the next album can't be worse than this one lmao
