I ran for the entire duration of Cruel Summer btw 🥰
#how the couch to 5k started: was too scared to run for literally 30 seconds so i powerwalked instead#how it’s going: ran for 3 continuous minutes#i know it’s not a lot but i’m the couch potato of couch potatoes AND i have a bad knee#and this was a goal for me tbh. every time i hear cruel summer i want to start sprinting while yelling ‘I’M DRUNK IN THE BACK OF THE CAR’#and now i CAN#next time i want to run at least the second half of ma&thbp and Then cruel summer as well#and after that i want to incorporate the man so i’m running during at least one of the times she sings ‘i’m so sick of running as fast#as i can’ because……. yeah i am actually#but it’s fun! in a weird way. i feel like these ‘long run’ sessions on wednesdays are where i’ll start to see improvement#the interval runs during the week just wipe me out but during the long run i’m purely just trying to see.. well how long i can run#apparently it’s currently 3 minutes. which is really nice! i’m happy with that#tune in next week to see if i manage to up it to 4 or 5. or don’t because honestly i probably won’t mention it#personal
