The project is a collaborative effort between the community and Micro-Projects, a government-owned initiative aimed at supporting community development endeavors.

Community Contribution: As per the agreement, the community’s contribution to the project involves the construction of a toilet facility, representing 10% of the total input. This demonstrates the community’s commitment to the project and its active involvement in its realization.

Progress Update: Babe Shabangu and Sbhera are leading the construction of the community toilets, a crucial component of the project. As of the time of this report, significant progress has been made. Specifically, Babe Shabangu has reported that eight courses have been successfully constructed below ground level. Additionally, construction efforts are currently focused on building and completing courses above ground level.

Next Steps: Moving forward, the construction team will continue to work diligently to advance the project according to the established timeline and quality standards. This includes completing the construction of the community toilets and proceeding with the main construction of the Community Hall.

Held at the esteemed Sibanesami Hotel and expertly facilitated by Dr. Frederic Thomas and Alex Jeffries, this workshop was a beacon of enlightenment for all participants.

First and foremost, I extend my sincerest gratitude to the Eswatini Tourism Authority for orchestrating such a fruitful event. The insights gleaned from the workshop were invaluable, offering a comprehensive understanding of how to elevate tourism businesses through online promotion, monitoring, and sustainable practices. As we delved into discussions and shared experiences, it became evident that this knowledge would serve as a catalyst for growth and innovation within the industry.
