How freaking pretty is @embraceorfail new hair color?! It's like a metallic rainbow 😍 Andrea came in with previously Ion colored hair so I foiled all of her hair with @pulpriothair lightener and 20vol. If you've never tried lifting Ion (color at Sally's, not bashing at all I promise 💕) it's a bit hard to remove and unpredictable, luckily! Andreas hair lightened to a really pretty pastel rainbow! I formulated colors that could tie in with the titanium instead of lightening again. Healthy hair is way more important! You know @olaplex was used 💪🏻I used @joicointensity titanium, light pink, light purple (?) and clear and made several formulas with each. ✨Color Correction!✨ honestly this is the quickest color correction I've ever done, 5 hours! I am so so so happy how this turned out, as always I'll have more pics posted soon. We started with faded @joicointensity probably 2 months old? Maybe more? I then used @joicointensity Color Eraser with 5 VOL ONLY and it removed the color in seconds! I just wanna put out there, when using a color eraser PLEASE start with a lower developer, I see a lot of stylists complain that their clients hair feels fried after using it and it's typically because they used 20vol (it does say to use 20 vol on the packaging which kinda frustrating) but the higher the volume the more the color gets pushed into the hair (fashion colors only) so a lot of the time the color won't budge or your left with color still in the hair. So please please please if you're using the Color Eraser, just start with their 5 vol and judge your next moves after that. The second step was adding baby lights to help with the blending and creating an easier grow out for Brianna. Then it's rinse, shampoo and blow dry. Then I used @framesiofficial to add the chocolate brown and caramel highlights. I had a new client come in today who brought in a early 2000's Christina Aguilera picture for hair inspiration ❤️ when she came in she had 3" of roots, lots of faded red and a lot of random blond highlights all over. SO! 1️⃣ I sectioned off the top, as I only needed to give her a semi Partial on top, added slices of blond and red to create these bold highlights. Lightener is from @framesiofficial with 30vol at the root and @framesiofficial with 10vol for the ends. For the red, I used @framesiofficial Eclectic Care in 5.5 and 6.5. 2 for the rest of her hair, I wanted to get rid of the random blonde underneath, so alternating between the 5.5 and 6.5 I colored her hair root to ends. 3️⃣ for rinsing, I rinsed the red underneath first with cold water to keep the red from bleeding too much on her ends. After rinsing I used @designmehair and @milkshakeusa to style after giving her a trim. 4️⃣ take home product was @framesiofficial cleansing conditioner to keep her hair vibrant longer ✨ it's been a long time since I've done chunky highlights and I'm honestly super stoked!
