Watching these three bond has been an amazing experience. Not that long ago we couldn't leave Nibbler and Oso unsupervised for fear of their fighting but they eventually learned to love each other. When we took in Quokka back in February the boys were tolerant of her crazy baby antics but weren't entirely sure about her. The boys - Oso & Nibbler. We're still on a boil notice which means when they aren't sleeping, the ferrets are often trying to get into the bathroom because they love the bathtub but don't understand they can't drink that water right now. Since we are back to the usual central Texas weather, I've got a mile long list of stuff to fix & prepare for the next once in lifetime crisis that will be coming down the trail probably sooner than later. I'd hope that our state & local officials would get on that at a macro level as welll but I'm not gonna waste my time, I'm gonna make sure we're ready to make it through again & try to be in a position to aid those around us as needed. Don't forget - we had plenty of warning & everything but the temperature was preventable. Took her less than a day to completely take over.
