No joking, they really make this the biggest event in 9 years of Splatoon.

After we save Marina, Order attempts to stop us from reaching the top of the tower.

After we defeat Overlorder, we meet Smollusk, the one who was causing all the troubles. [Then, we proceed to beat this little octopus like 12 times with every weapn class]

Marina Agitando is the First Boss of Side Order [or the Boss of the Tutorial?]

She is actually being controlled by Order, the real final boss.

Fun Fact: With this battle, we have fought 5 of 7 Idols [Callie, Frye, Shiver, Big Man and Marina]. I don't actually want to fight with Marie or Pearl, tho.

Acht "appeared" on the Octo Expansion as Dedf1sh, who composed almost all the songs on the DLC.

During the events of Side Order, Acht appears at the elevator, guiding us for the first levels. It's also the first Sanitized Octoling that doesn't attack us [And the second non-idol musician that receive a model]

Agent 8 and Pearl in Drone Form [Probably to contain her power] If i'm honest, I really like Side Order. I know it's not what we all were expecting... but damn, I'm a sucker for Roguelikes. Speedruning it is my passion [Next to Salmon Run]

Since the Octo Expansion, 3 removed it's limiter and now can use a special without having to charge it.

Chaos won, and we ended up on Splatsville on Splatoon 3 [And an -Order- DLC]

Actually that's the dialogue before fighting Inner Agent 3, but you get the point (?

Agent 3 was not that tough as a story mode boss, but then we have that Secret Super Boss and Nintendo really said: "I'm not gonna sugarcoat it."

Tartar is the villain of the Octo Expansion and... holy carp In case you haven't played it, the Octo Expansion alone is a great reason to get a copy of Splatoon 2

The Octo Expansion was and still is my favorite Campaign because it gave us Playable Octolings, 1112 days after the first game was released. Un saludo para @playableoctolingsnow [Because I manage it, lol]
