okay i didn’t expect to get gut punched as hard as i did by the end of arc 3.

It wasn’t AS much of one as arc 2 was—which i think is mainly a product of how absolutely desperate i was to finish arc 2–

But it was still REALLY GOOD.

Also this???? this fight????? I loved it. I love all the weird experimental half-puzzle half-just-for-aesthetics stuff they were doing with the fights in this arc. Excellent, 1000/10.

I might take a pause here as I want to finish up (or you know, get somewhere close to the realm of finishing up) the arc 3 scion fics before really delving too hard into arc 4, as I made that mistake last time and have had to do a lot of re-reading as a result.

it's so bizarre finally being here--Empyrea's storyline (namely the whole, Raven being absolutely determined to end the spiral thing) was one of the first times I ever saw big story spoilers for wiz, and it was one of the things I remember rattling around my brain for years after first glimpsing it.
