Mythological Masters: Tartarus
Pantheon of Origin: Greek Deity of: The Imprisoning Abyss Design: Massive, wingless black dragon with bright red eyes, resembling a Black Mamba mixed with a Nile Monitor Lizard. Deity Story: Khaos made three deities that shaped the world into its first form; the first to be made was Tartarus, a deity/concept that became the most abysmal of prisons. From what we can assume, the deity part of Tartarus is the warden, keeping those within its dark chambers from escaping. Although, rumors circulate that some prisoners can be released spiritually and influence the modern world. His most noteworthy prisoners are the Titans, their leader Cronus in solitary confinement. However, some Titans have been given a pardon due to their benevolence in spite of Cronus' drastic cruelty. It's unclear as to Tartarus' overall feeling in the conflicts of time, but one thing is made all too apparent: You do NOT want to be stuck in Tartarus! Monster Info: Since Tartarus is both a foreboding place and an entity of darkness, Lora felt it best to make a large, fearsome dragon, whose influence tortures those he comes into contact with. As is the custom with these fearsome entities, Lora saves Tartarus for a last resort, and can usually be found communicating spiritually with the other more dangerous monsters such as Tartarus. His abilities are mysterious, but his most noted power is to instill fear in all who see him, even the strongest of gods!

DO YOU LOVE BEAUTY IN NATURE??? VISIT THE FINIMA NATURE PARK TODAY. The Nile monitor (Varanus niloticus) is a hefty reptile, also known as the water monitor, and Africa’s longest lizard, sometimes reaching lengths of over 2 metres – of which more than half is tail. Seldom wandering far from water, it is a common sight across much of the region, usually seen rummaging around the riverine undergrowth, basking on a rock or swimming through the shallows. A versatile predator, able to swim, run and climb with equal ease, it will take prey from insects to small mammals, using its forked, flicking tongue to track down its quarry by scent. Here are some photos taken from the FINIMA NATURE PARK. #nilemonitor #nilemonitorlizard #nilemonitorsofinstagram #nilemonitorpet #biodiversity2020 #animallovers #natureza #naturelovers #natureshot #ncf #fnp #nlng #lng (at Finima Nature Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIfXOZGs_rm/?igshid=1x1t1itze2f1q
