Nip+Fab liquid lipstick, review

When I was make up shopping at Superdrug in London I received a gift: three liquid lipsticks from the brand Nip+Fab. I didn’t know the brand and I’ve never tried liquid lipsticks. Let’s see if I like it!

First a bit background of the brand and the product.

Nip+Fab is a British brand that not only sells make up, but also skin care products. The make up is not tested on animals and some products are also vegan friendly. In the case of these liquid lipsticks they aren’t suitable of vegan make up lovers. The liquid lipsticks contains seabutter and vitamine E. Which means your lips don’t only get colours, but also being taking care off while wearing it. According to the website the lipsticks have a creamy formula and a matte finish. It’s non-drying when it’s on your lips. They all are named after candy and yummy pasteries.

As gift I’ve received three liquid lipsticks in the colours Marsmellow, Toffee and Red Velet. But is it as creamy and matte as they claime to be?

The colour Toffee (20) is a brown nude, Marsmellow (35) is a pink nude and Red Velvet (70) is a dark  red/bourdeaux. When you applay it, it’s indeed creamy, but it doesn’t try up as I expected. It keeps a bit glossy/sticky. Also I don’t find the finish matte, only Velvet Red has a matte like finish. After putting it on my lips and eating and drinking, the lipstick disappeared. Only leaving a bit behind by my lipline. Even after using a lipprimer before. My conclusion: these liquid lipstick aren’t for me! I expected a drying formula that gives you a matte finish. If you like lipgloss I think you would like these liquid lipsticks a lot!

The nip+fab glycolic fix night pad extreme is waaaay better than the Paula’s choice 2% bha liquid!! Don’t know if it’s cheaper though but the nip+fab one has been clearing up my acne & blackheads while Paula’s choice just kinda… kept my skin from getting worse?? If that makes sense? I’m gonna try the dragon blood serum thing next lol ☺️
