that time i got grifted out of 200 bucks
#playing p3p and it was only after id given tanaka 40k that i thought 'wait was i supposed to do that or was there another way'#and then i was like yeah you would just give someone money without questioning it further wouldnt you huh @me#ughgh its embarrassing thinking about it..... you have to understand that at 19 i still had high social anxiety and low social awareness#so my first thought when some rando started talking to me wasnt 'hm this guys probably trying to get me to do something'#it was 'normal people have conversations and i have to be normal at all costs'#and then by the time he starts trying to sell me something im already in the conversation. i cant just leave thatd be rude#and also i would do anything just to make this interaction end and im already panicking bc i dont want to be here#so sure here is 200 bucks for your magazine subscription or whatever goodbye *days later* wait..... was that a scam#the thing is. i did get some magazines in the mail months later. so like??#nnnnmggh cringe fail human moments. its ok though now i know my rights (the ability to just walk away)
