i've just realized that every time someone asks me how I write so fast, I always answer as if they've asked how fast i TYPE. because to me, writing is a no-thoughts process. somehow. a first draft is always just me blacking out and coming to 5 hours later with 75 pages written. like I dunno!!!! the characters just take over!!!!!! I don't think it all just HAPPENS and I'm just recording it like a court scribe or some shit like these bitches are volleyballing back and forth and i'm desperately trying to keep up. of COURSE i type fast these bitches in my head are playing goddamn ping pong they're playing tennis and I'm just desperately trying to keep my eye on the goddamn ball.

#does this make any sense #do you understand me #writing #I don't understand how to write any other way #like words just Come To Me shit just Happens and I'm not controlling it half the time #the characters just Do Stuff and I write it down you know.#if I think too hard about my stories they stop making sense #this is so strange i feel like i'm a weirdo freak #is this a skill or a flaw in my design who even knows #i learned how to type because i would roleplay on anonymous chatrooms at 3 AM with all my lights off in my room #no backlit keyboard bc i had a shitty little chromebook #i had to either almost-close my laptop or learn how to tell where the letters were without looking #now my favorite party trick is to turn and look all the way to the side while typing #because people are always taken by surprise when they realize i don't have to look at the keyboard in order to type #it's soooooo fun i feel very powerful when i do it #oh my god i'm rambling i'm so tired
