Sometimes I see content from an old fandom i was in and think “wtf happened? When did this happen? Since when did this new character arrive?” As if the fandom stopped growing and didn’t get new content after I left

Like prime example is Warrior cats, a series i dedicated 5 years to and always thought I would be a nerd about, only to see new content and be like “who the hell is this? How did this conflict end? LEAFPOOL IS SHIPPED WITH ANOTHER FEMALE CHARACTER AND ITS EVIL YURI NOW??” I feel like I’m losing out
