#no hate to yukeru shippers

Have some more Fruits Basket memes using the same template (because I'm unoriginal it's so versatile).

(I'm only refering to the toxic ones but that wouldn't fit unfortunately)

I felt so alone as a Yukeru shipper during the third episode... like everyone was like "OMG Yuki and Machi are so cuteee!!" and I was internally freaking out bc YUKI PUT HIS HEAD ON KAKERU'S SHOULDER–

(don't get me wrong, I think Yuki x Machi is a cute ship and I love both of their characters so much, no hate)

Komaki is so underappreciated in this fandom, I really hope she gets the recognition that she deserves once the anime-only's catch up in S3. Kakeru's struggle to realize that loving someone deeply doesn't mean that you can speak for them or that you always know what is going on their head is so human and real. And even though she doesn't get the most screentime, we can tell that they have one of the most mature, caring relationships in the whole series.

No hate to Yukeru shippers, but I also highly recommend that people make sure they aren't ignoring important, meaningful parts of the story for not matching up with their non-canon ships.

It's so funny to see yu//chi shippers on twitter saying that yukeru shippers dislike Machi when all this time I have never once seen Machi hate from all the people I follow lmao. Disliking a ship is never equal to disliking the characters themselves.

Not hating or anything but shipping yuki and tohru is quite gross considering what yuki really thinks of her and I do not get the point of shipping three people kyo tohru and yuki when it is obvious in the manga that kyo tohru and yuki machi are meant for each other. Wow. Okay. Hey. I gotta admit, the ‘gross’ part quite hurts. but here’s my two cents

First of all, I really don’t see anything wrong in shipping them. It’s not that I ship them romantically coz I ship her romantically with kyo and yuki romantically with machi. I post about yuki and tohru coz they’re my favorite non-romantic relationship and kyoru’s my otp

Even if people ship them romantically, I really don't see anything taboo about it. I mean if you are saying that you are quite disturbed by the “mother” figure part then that’s on you. I just don’t see the point of really taking the “mother figure” part too seriously to the point of making tohru an actual mother to yuki. What’s makes this manga so great is that Takaya-sensei opens more different kinds of love and not just stick with the romantic aspect of it. They’re not in love with each other but they do love each other it’s just not on the romantic side (which is great since yuki himself really reflected on this). Also, you really can’t blame people for shipping yuki and tohru since they do have moments that are swoon-worthy. so as kyo and tohru’s and yuki and machi’s that are yet to be animated.

As for shipping them three, I, myself am an ot3 trash for them (and no not the sexual kind cause my friends always tease me of this) I always love their scenes with the three of them together cause I’m a sucker for trios in animes like noragami etc. In addition, it combines two of my favorite relationships.

As for disregarding their significant others, I don’t think that’s the case. I do understand ur upset on dismissing machi cause I get it too. Like she’s sometimes getting unnecessary hate coz she’s butting in yukeru or just a replacement girl which saddens me but like you, I ship yuchi cause they are just meant for each other. And you really think a lot are dismissing kyo as tohru’s s/o? Boiii, they’re the most famous ship in the fandom so don’t get too affected on it. These 2 pairings have great fandoms and I rarely see any shipping wars in furuba tbh so it's quite refreshing. (which is great!)

Tho you have to accept that people do have their own personal ships whether you like the pairing or not, that’s just how it is. I, myself am a multi-shipper so I kinda love it when people ships (as long as it's legal for me). I am sure that there's a majority of fandoms inclined to ur fave ships (which is good coz ur ships are one of the main ships) so ur like part of the 70 percent of the shipping community in furuba. Go spread the love there and respect and support other ships. Good dayyy ❤❤❤❤❤

I'm scared. I don't want people to start hating on Machi because she is "the replacement of Tohru" or "Yuki works better with Tohru/Kakeru" as people used to time ago. I'm excited about next episode but scared =(

tbh, i'm not super concerned about it! i don't think there are a ton of yukiru shippers out there, and from what i can tell they're not a super aggressive bunch. and most of the yukeru shippers i've encountered (myself included) absolutely love machi.

so i'm cautiously optimistic that people aren't going to hate on machi (at least not for that reason specifically) and if that's not the case with the people you follow, then you should work on curating your fandom experience! it should be something that brings you joy, not stress! 💜

Mai & Zuko Coming Out to Each Other Headcannon

- So I feel like Mai and Zuko weren't really that close as kids

- Like Mai always hung out with Azula and stuff, and Zuko just found them all weird and annoying

- Until one day Zuko goes to the gay section of the library, where he sneaks sometimes in the middle of the night

- He accidentally finds Mai and they both nearly have a heart attack and think "that's it, I've been found out"

- Until Zuko figures out "hmmm, what's she doing here anyway?"

- So they come out to each other and make a pact behind the library shelves that neither would tell the other's secret

- They become really close friends after that

- People start telling them stuff like "you should get together" and "you guys clearly have crushes on each other"

- So they start basically fake dating

- And then Zuko leaves and Mai is heartbroken not as a lover but as a really close friend

A lot of people are hating on Kagura for punching Tohru in ep. 6 but to me, that was probably one of my favourite Kagura scenes of all time. Kagura isn't mad at Tohru because she's jealous that she and Kyo are in love with each other. She's punching Tohru because Tohru is basically confessing that she's in love with Kyo, and Kagura KNOWS that's what Kazuma and Kyo are most insecure about (Tohru only pitying Kyo not actually caring for HIM). This scene also shows that Kagura cares so much about Kyo, and wants him to be happy so much, that she's basically telling Tohru to confess her love to Kyo because she knows it will make him happy. She's not a spiteful, jealous bitch she's a caring person.

Another thing we know about Kagura is that punching people is kind of her love language (as we know from her and Kyo). In this scene it felt like she was displaying affection for Tohru.

I hope they wouldn't trash yumachi once it's revealed that they are canon. I can see a lot of yukeru shippers might hate her for ruining their ship.

well, if we're talking about shipping in a fandom, it's quite inevitable (sadly). there's always gonna be haters though the majority of the fandom (manga readers in particular), love both yukeru and yuchi (myself included) so we get the best of both worlds and I rarely find a yukeru stan hating yuchi and in vice versa, both are very supportive so I think u shouldn't worry too much about it ❤
