The Shield probably wasn’t aware of how big of a guy he was and would always applied too much force whenever he clapped the prince on the back.  Noctis stumbled a little forward and returned his friend the same grin. “All right. Saturday it is, then! Don’t be late.”

Gladio offered a snort. He wasn’t worried about being late, but he was mildly suspicious of the sleepy Prince being fashionably late. He’d probably set multiple alarms just to prove a point. “Don’t forget t’ wear your big boy boots.” he teased.

Come Saturday the prodigious shield had purchased a fishing rod all for himself. He was certain Noct’s was better quality but the last thing he wanted to do was accidentally break it. “Hope y’ got a few extra lures?”

Noctis came back to his apartment from school to find a pair of shoes which unquestionably belonged to his caretaker and advisor at the door.  After taking off his own and setting down his school bag, he nonchalantly walked into the dining room that was connected to the open kitchen where he found Ignis cooking for him as expected.

It’d fallen into a routine that Ignis would visit and check up on him several times a week, so Noctis didn’t feel the need to greet the other man at all.  Pancing to the side of his advisor, the prince could now see that Ignis was icing a cake with whipped cream.  Noctis was appreciative of everything that the other did for him, but he was never good at expressing himself and had never voiced his feelings out.  When the other paused to take a little break, Noctis took the chance to take the other’s wrist to press a light kiss there.  “You’ve got cream on your wrist.”

He didn’t get a greeting, but he had long grown accustomed to it, it didn’t offend him, the other didn’t need to greet him before any interaction; they were beyond that, closer. 

Ignis grins as he notices Noct kiss his wrist of the cream. “... Brazen Prince.” he deems softly and kisses the shell of his ear. “How does it look- No fingers on it just yet- the cream needs to set” He quickly adds.

“How was school, Noct? Mind telling me why you demanded I not pick you up today?” he urges an answer, wondering if perhaps he has a ‘friend’ at school that he doesn’t want Ignis to meet just yet.

character in general: I’m not sure what else I can say about Noctis. I’ve already sung his praises quite a bit, haha.how they play them: With gentle humour and sweetness. Their Noctis is a joy to interact with.the mun: Aahhh, the mun is lovely - one of the first to befriend me in the fandom and I’m really grateful for that. They send me all kinds of weird and funny things (I will never get the image of smiling Iggy out of my head) and I’m very glad to have them as a friend.

200+ Followers - Shout outs and thank yous~

I can’t believe it’s happened, but here I am, sitting at 200 followers and scratching my head as to HOW in the WORLD I got so many wonderful people following me and Iggy’s antics.

Anyway, there are people I really appreciate and I want to take some time to let them, and everyone else, know how much they mean to me. I didn’t manage to throw together anything pretty to post with this, so here it is, plain text and caps lock to show my love.

FIRST - The reasons I’m here + My favorite blogs!

@gvntk / @catalystiic -- My lovely friend from the ST fandom! You dragged me into making Iggy alongside your Prompto. I’m so glad we did it because this fandom has revived my writing better than anything else in so long. You’re awesome and so sweet to me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Plus you’re also the Noct for our OT4, and that pleases me so much. @chocobutthair -- My dear sweet Prompto. I think I’ve written more angsty things between your Prom and my Iggy than anywhere else. You grasp of Prompto is beautiful and true and hurts me as well as makes me warm and fuzzy inside. You pulled me into the OT4, too, and I’m so happy for that, we need to do more with them.  @eldestamicitiason -- GLADIO. My OT4 Gladio! We’ve not done NEARLY enough stuff together with Gladio, but that will change, I just know it. You have a flavor to Gladio that I haven’t seen anywhere else, and I feel like I’ve only just seen the beginning of it. You write wonderfully, and I enjoy it when we do stuff. (Not to mention you’re the Simon to my Jayne <3) @chocophotographer -- You may not know this but you were my THIRD follower! We haven’t done a whole lot together yet, but we’ve got things in the works! I enjoy your blog a lot, and read through some of your threads when I have the time. Thank you so much for being around, and I hope you continue to enjoy my blog. @midnightprince-archive -- You’ve left tumblr, but I still need to take a moment to gush. You have so much versatility with your Noct, and I loved the stuff you wrote with me! You were my 2nd Noct to interact with and you’ll always have a place on my list of favorite people. Hopefully we’ll keep doing stuff in other places, and you’ll continue to be awesome in everything you do! @greatswordgladio -- You. I have so much feeling about you and your blog, I can’t even find the proper words! Specifically since(now you know why I asked) my Ignis was the reason you decided to go ahead and join our fandom and write Gladio! I’m so happy that you did, I really enjoy the stuff we do, even though I’m slow as balls all the time. You’re nice to me, too, and I’m glad we talk a lot. <3 @ofnoconsxquence / @heterochromiairiidum -- Let me start by saying I followed you for several months before I started up my Iggy blog. You were the first Ardyn blog I enjoyed following, and then I discovered your Ravus, and both blogs are on my list of favorites! We mostly talk OOC shenanigans, with some RP on the side with Ravus. You are a marvelous person!  @culinarystrategist -- OMG MY TWIN!!! <3 We have some great plots in the works, and I’m super happy for it! When I started my Iggy blog I was scared that other Iggys would stay away and I wouldn’t have the opportunity to write some twin fun/angst/stuff. But there you are! And I DO enjoy your Ignis very much! You write him wonderfully and I like how you get his ‘voice’ down just so, if that makes sense? @wordlilies / @kissthecook -- You, my dear friend! You were the first Ignis to write some twin stuff with me! And now you have a delightful Gladio, too! Great and smutty minds think alike, and we have some devious and fun stuff in the works. I hope things are going well for you! @codeprint -- OH. MY. LORD. Soooo I only became of aware of your blog just a week ago or so and I’m already in love with the stuff your write and the ideas you have! Your canon divergent history is super cool and I really love it and look forward to all the stuff you do with it.

There’s a meeting they’ve just finished, it’s long and arduous but its finally over, they’ve been making small bits of eye contact all night and Noct is having a hard time ignoring it. His heart is pounding in his chest, it feels like his shirt is rattling from it even. He’s dreaming of hiding under his puffy vest jacket, perhaps even fishing this feeling away. Ignis doesn’t give him that respite, though, he pulls Noct into the hall and they’re sprinting. He has no idea where they are going but his heart is shattering his ribcage, fighting with his lungs and his stomach is flipping. Ignis is ahead of him, less than a foot or so ahead. There’s more footsteps ahead and Noct furrows his brow. “Where are we going?!” He whispers until Ignis disappears around ANOTHER hall. He turns on his heel and follows down the darker -- He’s pulled aside and is surprised;  Ignis is fast- real fast. He pushes the other against a wall and pins the prince against himself and the wall, his hands pressed on either sides of him to almost trap him there as he leans in to kiss him.It’s soft at first, but it isn’t long before Ignis is nudging him for more, his lips parting just enough to hint to the other. Noct opens his mouth but he’s the prince; and this is HIS show. He bites Ignis’ lip and grips his collar tugging him down and closer, roughly to deepen the kiss, reminding Ignis he’s the one that’s the prince around here and he does the demanding. It’s heated for a moment but it’s short as Ignis pulls back and Noct drops his hands in time to notice Cor rounding the corner into their hall. “....? What the- What are you doing down here? Every one is already moving outside for the send off... Your father is asking for you.” he sighed heavily, these two never seemed to grow out of their games.

@noctxgar Prompto looked at him, smiling. "Not once!" He was definitely a little nervous about smoking. "Just one try okay?" He didn't want to get an addiction. "Have you tried vaping yet?" Prompto had tried to be healthy for years but here he was about to smoke a cigarette with the prince.
