What nonbinary means to me?

Apparently, some people still haven't moved from the whole "nonbinary means you're 14 and wanna feel special uwu" because "no one tells them what nonbinary means" so here's my answer.

Being nonbinary is feeling disphoric about my chest, but not underneath that area.

Being nonbinary is hating to be call feminine things (girl, daughter), but also feeling weird being called masculine things (boy, son).

Being nonbinary is never identifying to someone just because they're a dude or a gal. It's reading books and seeing movies, but the "I" is always a character, never "me".

Being nonbinary is seeing both dudes and gals as them and neither of them as we.

Being nonbinary is feeling safe around an all- female/male group, while said group still feel safe around you.

Being nonbinary is your friends, classmates, family of your childhood, mixing your gender and pronouns (I was "a boy that goes by she").

But every nonbinary had a different journey. I'm just a slightly male-aligned nonbinary person.
