logically they asked some adults if they knew what happened to spader. right. and logically dr c and the others had SOME kind of fucking handwave to feed them. right. and, well. if blaine seems to be doing JUST peachy, but when you ask, it turns out theyre having a rough time, well. maybe spader was too.

dr c: it's not unusual for wizard children to suddenly disappear like that. they get easily overwhelmed or excited by magic, and they leave of their own-- blaine: no, he wouldn't have, though

dr c: how was he adjusting? blaine: h dr c: the two of you-- blaine: three dr c: three of you. were free spirits before, were you not?
