Thinking about that set of posts wherein we were dead but 'came back' as a small moth of sorts. As a consequence, thinking about 3k+ moths swarming Legacy, landing all over him.

We love him, hehe <3

(hehe thank youuu) oh oh i remember those posts!! they were so cute but also broke my heart ;-;;

at first it was just one moth following him to the ends of Teyvat, perching on his horns and nestling in his fluff. then one turned into two, another little friend showing up like it had always been there, and again into three, and so on and so forth. the moths don't stick around him all the time- usually he has five or six fluttering around him at most- but he knows the rest exist, because they all look unique. it's comforting, in a way, knowing that the tiny creatures aren't frightened of him- helps alleviate his loneliness at times

still, he really wasn't expecting every single moth he's ever met to cluster around and perch on him, flitting around and snuggling into his soft hair. it feels like getting hundreds of little kisses, and his heart aches with familiarity. eventually the moths flutter away, back to their own mothy errands, leaving only one behind- the first moth, the one that started it all. it flies up to him and brushes its wings against his mask before settling on one of his claws, ready to travel wherever Legacy goes

OH MY GODDDDDD YOUR GIYUSHINO LUNCH DATE FIC?!?!?!? ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY AMAZINGGGGGGG. THANK YOU. so i just fell headfirst into this ship a few days ago (i saw the headlock clip & shinobu about to stab giyuu in the fucking FACE first and simply had to learn more abt them) and ive been trying to find content when lo and behold...i stumbled upon your magnificent fic. Every beat was perfect, the mostly contained confusion of giyuu's pov at shinobu's poking and his hidden but undeniable interest/care. The tightness of her smile at the sister mention, shinobu nerding out about insects & delivering poignant facts at the same time?!?!? I love love loved the other characters popping up & that giyuu, on shinobus encouragement, went to the canteen and was naturally absorbed into the fold like an amoeba (setting aside 2 grumpy bois ofc lolol). And then the fact that giyuu was the one who suggested the ramen shop, noticing that shinobu had a rough day....bruh my eyes are sweatingggg. God you do such a masterful job of showing us the emotions here, showing us how tho shinobu is more externally vocal with her interest/affection, giyuu reciprocates in his characteristic way. They feel fully formed and on equal footing, i ADORE your take on them. God i could rave on and on about this (giyuus understandable bafflement at workplace relationships! shinobu finding him on the rooftop! Her blue vs purple hair!!), but I'm worried abt tumblr word limit lolol. If you happen to create any giyushino in the future, rest assured i will be on it like a freaking rat up a kilt (lol sorry this is a random uk taskmaster reference). And if you don't feel inclined to do so, that is perfectly valid as well! I am just grateful for having the chance to read this delighful fic at all. My serotonin levels went out the fucking roof, all thanks to ur lovely work. 😆😆Thank you so so much for sharing your wonderful talents with us and have an AWESOME DAY!!❤❤

thank you so MUCH!!! this means the world to me!! this was my first hurrah into giyushino, and that would obv make anyone really nervous, so your message really made me so happy!!!!

i only fell for giyushino myself just a few months ago. something about them just suddenly CLICKED for me. their dynamic has always been really fun, but finding out that giyuu likes the different hashira based on whether they talk to him (😭) + that he & shinobu genuinely respect e/o and like talking to e/o (!!!) just made me go, "oh, i see. so that was all some weird form of flirting, wasn't it." HAHA. and then OFC i had to try writing it, too!! it was really fun!

i think giyuu is really adorable C: and, also, more inclined to making friends than people think. which impacted how i wrote him. not exactly gloomy, but just...confused about social cues, like you said. though shinobu really stole all the scenes, HAHA.
