hi there! is there a common source where people get the reaction images they put in their douyins? especially the recent one with digging in the sand for his phone? i know you posted some others, but that's all i could find besides the 你好fashion哇哦 one
Mmm I don't know where people get them nowadays exactly; I kind of assume people just collect them, but the images are also just built into some apps as searchable stickers/packs.
For example, if I search "hahaha" on WeChat, it shows up a bunch of these reaction images:

They're called 表情包/biaoqingbao/emoji packs (so like stickers, basically).
Probably one of the most popular ones is the panda head/panda man variations. It originates from a gamer forum and it originally took the panda head outline from the Panda Cheese logo (due to the viral "Never Say No To Panda" videos for the 2010s) and combined it with facial expressions of Choi Sung-kook (Mister KIMs).

The panda heads also include a number of other people's faces nowadays, including Elijah Burke and Jacky Cheung:

Biaoqingbaos basically started out as the Chinese version of rage comics except that they're still really popular and being made. I know they used to be posted/shared across baozou.com.
TL;DR: the images are made/collected over time since they are really just memes/reaction images. Some of them are included in sticker packs/search functions built into apps such as Wechat.
