Oh yeah now I understand

Like I would love to see him get a chance to change and work through his trauma and anger issues and heal his inner self

But the only thing I really hate about him is racism, like the way he acted towards Lucas and how he told Max to stay away from him that was purely racist (which I mean it's set in the 80's so I guess it's not that uncommon but it still rubs me off in a wrong way)

Hmm mh favourite character is probably Max or Robin or Steve, it's between those 3

I relate to Max because she just wants to fit in and have friends and have fun and have normal childhood but also I relate to her isolating herself and being distant from family and friends and having to take care of herself at such a young age

And I just simply love Robin, I think she's autistic and we know she's gay and like I just relate to her, to how she acts and what is she going through (also she's hot and lovable and I love her okay)

And I love Steve for character development!!! I just wish he could notice he doesn't need a girlfriend to be happy!!! And I hate what they're doing with him and Nancy, I hate this ship, she hurt him and he still probably loves her and ugh no please stop!!! But yeah I love how Steve went from pretending to be a jerk because he wanted to be cool to showing his actual side of a very brave softie who just wants to be loved and accepted

Also I have soft spot for Will because he used to be my favourite character back in season 1&2 but I was like 13/14 then, but I still love him and want justice for him and to know more about him as a character

Like I really don't know how the Duffer Brothers created a show when we know more about "side" characters' personalities than the main cast (Mike, El and Will)

Oh I also love Dustin of course!!! He is so sweet but also cool and smart!

And Eddie is gender envy (so is Steve tbh)

oh no absolutely hes written with major racist undertones (idk how to properly Word that but you get what I mean I hope) and again, his behaviour is far from okay. but yeah he is just a fictional character.

and omg mac Robin and steve are probably my favs too!! like I like billy as a character that you can form and interpret as you like but those three I really vibe with as like people, you know?

max is my girl I would protect her with my fucking life, Robin being neurodivergent and a lesbian makes her so relatable she feels almost like a self-insert character sjfbskfbe shes my bestie and steve is just genuinely so much fun to watch, he has some of the best dialogue and I love his character development.

and I agree 100%, if steve and Nancy get back together i will actually Riot that'd be the absolute worst decision jesus fucking christ.

I love Will for being possibly autistic and gay I really hope they actually follow through with that and make it a Thing in the story, especially after hinting at it for so long. he's an absolut sweetheart i just want him to be happy :(

dude lowkey i hate the way the writers have written this story. one day during another rewatch I'll start making a list of things that annoy me abt the writing but it's just,,, so inconsistent and I'm afraid they'll pull a marvel and start catering to fanservice instead of developing the story more.
