Wir haben den Canal des Ardennes hinter uns. Über das Wasser hätte man laufen können, Algen, Schlingpflanzen überall. Das dieser Kanal nicht gesperrt wurde, bleibt uns ein Rätsel. Zweimal musste ich tauchen, um den Propeller von Kraut zu befreien. Der dritte Tauchgang galt wieder dem Kühlwassereinlass. Binnen 20 Sekunden kletterte die Kühlwassertemperatur von 32 auf 80 Grad. Warnsignal ertönte, sofort bei voller Fahrt Notstop und per Hand Wasser in den völlig leeren Filter gegossen. Wieder hatte sich ein dicker Proppen vor den Einlass gesetzt, was normalerweise eigenlich nicht passieren kann. Das hätte böse enden können. Von diesem Tag durch eine ansonsten tolle Landschaft haben wir die Nase voll, und zwar gestrichen.
