Power Rangers Eltar Chapter 3

Power Rangers: Eltar Episode 3: Recovery Time, Planning, and a Discovery: By @autumn-clearwater

Daito Continent, Wisdom Lake Medical Center

Blue, Pink, and Green walk into the ER of the medical center, Green walks up to the counter, “Ma’am have you seen a man in a yellow suit similar to mine walk in?” The nurse looks up and nods, “Yes I have. He just now took a girl into the operation room. You friends?” Green says, “More like co-workers although we have some questions for the young lady… How long is the operation supposed to be?” The nurse looks down at her viewing globe, “Says here that it’ll be roughly five hours before she comes out of the operation and another ten before she wakes up. During this time, visiting hours will be over. We’re letting your yellow friend…” Green shifts, “Co-worker.” The nurse stutters, “Eh… Oh yes… fr-co-worker stay because the young lady has no parents on Eltar. Otherwise, we would make him leave but she was determined to have him stay due to her fears of us.” Green nods and heads back to Pink and Blue, “The girl is in operation and healing for another fifteen hours. We may as well check in with Red, Zoltar, and Zordon.” They both nod and head towards Zordon’s lab. Daito Continent, Zordon’s Lab Red walks into the lab, powering down on the way down the stairs, “Zordon… We need to talk.” Zordon looks up from his work bench where he is working on a black box roughly the size of a fishing tackle box, “Yes, Zoltar?” Zoltar walks up to Zordon and looks him in the eyes, “Where did you get the inspiration for this? This is completely not your style.” Zordon sighs, “I was reading through plans and missions that the Eltarian military did in the Enlightenment Era and saw the Ranger Program and was inspired. I wasn’t planning on using this Grid as a weapon or anything like this… But I decided that was necessary when the Noxturn Empire began invading the galaxy.” Zoltar opens his mouth to say something when the door to the lab opens.

Nickel, Xof, and Yensid walk into view on the stairs. Yensid walks forward and says, “Zordon… What was the original plan for the Grid or these Morphers?” Zordon looks at Sabevy, “Morphers?” Yensid shrugs, “Easier to say than ‘Transformation Devices’.” Zordon nods, “Fair enough. Also there wasn’t any true plans for them, I was just curious and trying to increase my technalchemy knowledge. I also was hoping to use my knowledge from this project to create better medical equipment or help with research.” Yensid sighs, “Well then… Why not call this energy source or whatever the Morphing Grid?” Zordon shrugs, “Ok, better than nothing or the Grid.” Nickel asks, “Has anyone heard of Aennakans?” Zordon looks up, “I had received a message from a Mahluh who claimed to be an Aennakan. But that’s all I got. My viewing globe received it during your battle. Here you want to hear the message?” Every Ranger nods and Zordon presses a button on the table, “Hello? I am Mahluh and I pleading for anyone who receives this message…” An explosion is heard and Mahluh is heard screaming for about a minute or so before a loud thud is heard cutting off the message. Nickel and Xof look worried. While Yensid and Zoltar look determined.Daito Continent, Wisdom Lake Medical CenterA nurse walks into the operating room holding Mahluh, “Doctor… From what we can gather, this girl was tossed around in a spaceship or pod… My personal guess is that her transport was attacked by the Noxturn fleet in orbit. Thanks to her discussion with our technical team we have a list of notes and things that you need to see and repair along with things to avoid.” She hands the doctor a clipboard and her eyes widened, “Holy… Do you have a layout of her species for medical purposes.” The nurse turns the pages to the end of the print outs.Daito Continent, Zordon’s LabNickel and Yensid are sitting at a table discussing Ranger tactics and moves. Zordon and Zoltar are sitting at the workbench where Zordon is still working on the box, “So, brother I am sure that you were at the very least paying attention to the battle via statistics that you more than likely placed in the Power Suits. What are the results for me?” Zordon sighs, “Simple, you broke the limits on the equipment.” Zoltar looks at the workbench and asks, “What’s with the blueprints?” Zordon blushes and quickly hids the paper, “Nothing important. Just random ideas that popped into my head shortly after the ‘Morphing’ for lack of better names to fit the new names of ‘Morphers’ and ‘Morphing Grid’.” Zoltar nods, “Fair enough.” Over with Nickel and Yensid, Nickel is writing down notes on a notepad while Yensid is talking, “That’s why I think you should work to increase your knowledge on those stances that I showed you before we stepped over to this table.” Nickel stopped writing to look up at Yensid, “Why should I do that? Why not just show me now?” Yensid stops his thinking and blushes, “Because I need to do so too…” He chuckles nervously and Nickel just places her face in her hands.Daito Continent, Wisdom Lake Medical Center, 15 hours later, Mahluh’s room Mahluh wakes up to five brightly colored people in skintight Power Suits standing around her room, “Wa… What’s going on? Who are you guys?”

Can you give us more exposure on the lore between WB! Convex? Like what they started as and why Cub retired in the first place? The dynamic seems really interesting.

oh shit I gotta write ogh... [THIS MIGHT NOT BE CANON! I DIDN'T ASK IMP ABOUT THIS BC I WANTED TO ANSWER THIS ASAP, HOPE THIS WORKS ANON!] ok ok so, basically Scar and Cub were the original engineers of Scarland, Scar drew the blueprints and ran them by cub to see if these rides and such were even physically possible/safe, the whole idea came from Scar needing a place to hunt for fresh blood without being seen as suspicious, and the vast woodland surrounding Scarland would be a GREAT cover 4 that! the building/construction of Scarland was in the middle of a dense forest, but Scar assured Cub that the people would really fucking wanna go here, so despite everything, Cub trusted him Cub and Scar made a deal that they can use the woods for their own needs, [Cub for blood/hunts for his spells, Scar for blood that he needs to survive] but Scar eventually got too cocky with it and slowly started hunting on Cub's part of the wood, which made Cub leave, as he had other places and things he could use, Scar didn't and Cub knew that. so they came to a compromise, as long as Cub didn't harvest in the woods anymore Scar wouldn't go after him, however when ever a fatality happens in the woods of Scarland, Scar doesn't think of the local lycans, or the other vampires, he thinks that Cub broke the deal that had survived for decades _____ now the reason Cub retired is rather easy, and it was to practice forbidden types of magic/use magic without limits, he's currently studying the magic harnessed from the deep dark below their town, which needs the best ingredients due to how finicky and how dangerous that glowing mold can be, even studying the effects is said to corrode a warlock's mind, he's already studied the vex and has gained all he could from it, the deep dark seems much more beneficial, and if he can log more than the warlocks before him that'd be amazing, besides, he's seen the patterns in the logs, he knows when he has to stop, he knows when it's too far to go back, and he made a promise to himself not to end up like that

yeah, griande and pearl are his siblings, however griande has gone no-contact due to her beliefs against hunting werewolves, she's a medic :D
