Thinking back to all the FF14 fanfictions I've read starring unnamed Warriors of Light, who are clearly based on the author's character

Playing a fun game of guessing whether they leave them unnamed

as a stylistic choice to let others self-insert their WoLs better into the story (heroes)

as a way to avoid getting found in game and potentially harassed (unfortunate but understandable)

or because a protagonist named "Tanties McFacefister" might make your npcwol drama hard to take seriously (tragic but please consider?)

This is self-indulgent but it’s my sleepover and I get to chose the self-indulgent NPCWoL ship.

How much longer would he have to wait anyway, they had to know he was around by now, and he was going to freeze to the stone by the aetheryte if they too much longer to get out here.

The door opened and Nijoh’ir risked peeking out just long enough to be sure it was the door before ducking back. He hadn’t seen who had come out, but the voices were a giveaway.

“You said he told you he’d be here?”

“Aye. I don’t know where he’s gotten to.” The laugh that followed was warm, fond, “knowing him, he’s gotten roped into rescuing someone’s pet or slaying a monster.”

Haurchefant’s voice was equally warm, “as though you have room to talk.” Nijoh’ir could hear the way his armor shifted, even from his cold perch, “but we should probably look for him.”

“My lord…” Nijoh’it didn’t wait for his position to be betrayed, popping up to hurl a snowball at his boyfriends.

It smacked into Ardbert’s shoulder and exploded, throwing snow all over his face and causing him to yelp. He whirled, hand reaching for his axe before he realized exactly who had attacked him.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS FOR THE MUN - SFW EDITION! — accepting !!

do you prefer to plot a ship, or would you rather “wing it”?

Honestly I've done both before and there's charm in doing both! I think overall though I prefer to plot a dynamic out than wing it, but there is something special about just going with the flow and having a dynamic develop through writing seamlessly. I find with winging it though, the chances of it getting rushed are really high !! so I think overall I prefer to plot!

what do you think about crossover ships? would you play any?

One of my favourite ships I've done was G'raha Tia from FFXIV and Thoma from Genshin Impact so I'm 100% down for cross shipping !!

is there a ship you wanted to play, but couldn’t yet?

Honestly any npcwol ships with my FFXIV oc I'm very interested in... and also maybe roleplaying Xayah/Rakan from League!! Other than that I can't think of any ships I haven't been able to play yet that I want to since I don't assume shipping too hard!!
