i don't know if anyone picked up on this in my short story (i didn't exactly spend a lot of time on it since it wasn't relevant) but nud is actually very close with warden ualraig because of a shared experience..
when i was developing nud as a character, i knew he wasn't that good at controlling his mutations, especially his flaming ray (that's why he keeps his face covered: it helps him feel the building heat)
reading the last line of ualraig's in-game description makes me think he's very conscious of the dangers of such power, and when he sees this kid growing up with something so similar, i imagine he would become very protective, perhaps overly so....
i didn't plan this out, it was just a neat coincidence with how i was developing nud, helped along by the fact that ualraig doesn't have much more going on in the game so i don't feel bad about potentially altering something canonical by putting nud in there lol
#eye guy speaks#ocs#nud cq#what i was thinking is that nud was actually found on the outskirts of the village as a baby#and was raised a little bit by everyone#ualraig of course was busy with his warden duties (the wiki says that he never sleeps)#but he always kept an eye on nud and would help him out. offer advice. etc#also nud is a polite young man but he doesn't address ualraig as 'warden' because of their relationship. he's just ualraig

actually here's some dumb stuff i did just because
found a torture chair a while ago and took the power cell out but then thought. what happens if i sit on it. so i put the cell back in and wouldn't you know, it hurts you
and today i found an iron maiden and thought. what happens if i go in it. these hurt more than the torture chair and also i got stuck in it for a few turns

i simply can't draw every tiny little thing that happens in game with nud. but know that i am greatly enjoying imagining it all
#eye guy speaks#eye guy plays cq#not really related to the sentiment of this post but#i was fighting this trisludge and it suddenly killed me i think bc of how many attacks it got at once?#honestly i couldn't figure it out it looked like my health all dropped at once but the numbers didn't make sense#anyway. game asked me if i really wanted to die and i said no#(this is classic mode but i got attached to nud so i'm playing it more like rp mode bc im having fun)#but that instant i died again. so i said no again. and long story short i was locked like this and had to just force close the game LOL#i think if i click 'yes' to die i can still go back in and play more since i have it set to not delete the saves#but i didn't want to........
