Happy Koshien Update for everyone since we are half way through everyone training arc I’ll start with some big news.

First Congrats to Hibari for being the first ever coach to get to the main Koshien Tournament TWICE in first year. No one has ever done this even once and to do so twice he has gain a huge advantage.

To put in slight contrast, this has allowed him to be the first coach this year to get a player (Uzuki Kou) to a B rank (Catcher B) in FIRST YEAR. The second player to do this is Shiina’s Kuzuha (Pitch B) who only managed to do so in SECOND YEAR keeping in mind Kou got here first.

This has put him at a new advantage we never seen in Koshien yet. Will it be enough to come out on top? Is Hibari our biggest dark horse yet? We’ll just have to see

Now to notable player stuff:

Reincarnated Players take teams by storm both for Nui, Leos, Yashiro, and Hibari. Reincarnated players are strong players in game based on players in real life (ex. Kzh is a reincarnated player, that’s why he’s so strong). Most notably Nui has gained the strongest pitcher in her region giving her another lead.

Catcher A, the best catcher ability has been obtained by Selen Tatsuki, ShizuRin, and Tsukino Mito. With the ever growing rise of strong pitchers, will everyone else be able to have the offensive to keep the game in check? Notable meantion goesto ShizuRin who not only got Catcher A, but both Intimidation and Abehi as well.

As for the pitcher side, ‘Intimidation’ (the strongest pitcher ability) has been attained by Enna, Chaika, ShizuRin, and Sonny, after rigorous training and luck. While they are not the only Intimidation players in the game (few start out with it naturally) this remains a huge advantage due to the debuff it brings to the field.

With that I’ll end this post by saying this year’s player focus on two key things. Strong pitchers and Flexible Characters. Many pitchers you see like Kuzuha, Lauren, and Kou are also all strong batters as well, while players like ShizuRin has developed abilities to make them an all rounder for any situation.

This seems like another year of stamina management as well. Who will come out on top? No one knows, but with the ever growing competition arising players might want to start focusing on their offensive and stamina next.

Kaede is a sophomore high school student living in Virtual Kansai. She's tall and has a great figure. She loved playing the trumpet since she was a child, and is currently a member of a brass and marching band. She likes to be stylish and live with her cat. She wants people to know more about the things she likes, so she became a VTuber.

Personality

Her best features are her silver ponytail, white ribbon, and mole under her right eye. She's known for her "nah-ha-ha" laugh and has a habit of saying "Naande!" (なぁーんで！ Whyyyy!). She tries to speak in standard Japanese, but as she's from the "Kansai region of the virtual world", her Kansai dialect often slips through, which often leads to her own unique vocabulary, such as "Manji no jijou" (卍の二乗 Manji squared), "Warota piipou" (わろたピーポー LOL people), and "Marumaru piiman" (○○ピーマン XYZ bell pepper). Being a member of the High School Girl Gang, she uses the most schoolgirl-like language of the three and is the most youthful, to the point where she's sometimes referred to as "the NIJISANJI Highschool Girl" (にじさんじのJK担当, NIJISANJI no JK tantou).

On 11 January 2018, Ichikara Inc. announced that it was recruiting "Official Virtual Livers" to serve as representatives for its iPhoneX app, NIJISANJI.[1] Higuchi Kaede's YouTube channel was created on 31 January 2018, and her Twitter account was created the same month. Her first tweet was made on 31 January 2018.

On 9 February 2018, Kaede uploaded her first YouTube video. Later that day, she streamed for the first time as part of a relay with the other Virtual Livers on Mirrativ.[2]

When she was in the second grade, the boy she liked was going to change schools on Valentine's Day, so she learned how to make cookies from her mother and gave them to him (uncooked).

I wonder if anyone will deliberately try to get Akn. Ibrahim did last year and Shiina did before so maybe them. I have a feeling Leos, Higuchi, or Hiba might call for him though.

Fuwa is hella popular so I have a gut feeling someone will try getting him first… either Kenmochi or Ibrahim but again I wouldn’t be surprised if Hiba will go for him.

Some viewers are worried for her health as there have been livestreams going on for a large portion of the day or until the early hours of the morning (~3AM Japan).

She had deleted/made private some of her older live videos on YouTube, and seems to sometimes do this for new videos (e.g. most ASMR videos). The reason behind this is unknown; some fans have kept copies, also a 4chan poster on the board /jp/ has kept copies of most on a private mega.nz share.

Since Rin streams constantly and at random times, and YouTube's notification system is notoriously bad, one fan created a Twitter notification system for when she streams.

After Kizuna AI, Rin is the second Virtual YouTuber to appear on one of PewDiePie's videos after he uploaded a snippet of one of her streams, in which she sang a rendition of the Japanese version of the song Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver (a version originally commissioned for the Studio Ghibli's 1995 movie Whisper of the Heart), in which she mistakenly pronounced it as "Concrete Roads" and confesses that she doesn't know the lyrics.
