fun facts about my rewrite and the family trees so far, shadowclan version:

-cloudpelt and ashheart are whitewater's parents. ashheart becomes mates with boulder moons after cloudpelt dies

-oakpaw, who's going to become oakfur, is actually older than wetpaw, who becomes wetfoot, even though in the canon series wetfoot is actually oakfur's mentor. oakpaw was the last apprentice raggedstar appointed and was the last kit to be made an apprentice at the proper age of 6 moons old before brokenstar took over

-boulder and ashheart are oakpaw's parents

-newtspeck and nutwhisker are wetpaw, brownpaw, and littlepaw's parents

-crowtail and archeye are darkflower, tallpoppy, and applefall's parents, tallpoppy and applefall are from a second litter

-applefall is the cat named applefur in tigerclaw's fury, but since later tallpoppy has a kit also named applefur, i changed her name. tallpoppy actually names applefur after her sister!

-whitepaw becomes whitethroat and he and badgerpaw are brothers, their parents are wolfstep and fernshade

-frogtail and tangleburr are snaketail and sparrowfeather's parents

-you know sparrowfeather from the dark forest? yeah that's this sparrowfeather. she ends up in the dark forest because she's one of brokenstar's closest followers. she's also madly in love with him. brokenstar is not madly in love with her lol
