So. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. I need to sing this show’s praises (no plot spoilers!) and if you’re a Trek fan, you need to watch it ASAP.
LISTEN. This show is on another fucking level. I know a lot of trekkies have been complaining about “New Trek” (even though a lot of their complaints are curiously similar to the complaints about VOY and DS9 back in the day), but SNW is genuinely one of the best Trek shows PERIOD. Say whatever you wanna say about the missteps of early Discovery or the massive stumbles of ALL of Picard, but SNW came out the gate FINE-TUNED and honed in on the show’s message, identity, and place within the canon. And it SHINES. No weak pilot or cumbersome first seasons; SNW knows what it is and goes for it without hesitation. Love the irony that a show about the captain from the TOS pilot (which had very strange circumstances) and yet his own show knocks it out of the park. Delicious. At last, justice for Jeffery Hunter’s Pike!
They absolutely perfected the episodic-mini-serialized-arc style that DS9 pioneered. Pike is hands down the best all-around captain in the entire series, with the friendliness and openness of Archer, the daring and charisma of Kirk, and the principles and empathy of Sisko all rolled into one. There’s even a little bit of our beloved Janeway’s questionable decision-making and stalwart loyalty in his character!
The way they’ve highlighted each crew member with barely a single character arc fumbled is supremely impressive. Special mentions to the character arcs so far for M’Benga, Chapel, Uhura, and La’An. Ethan Peck’s Spock goes places that truly delight and shock me. The fan service has been subtle and tasteful (e.g. incorporating young Jim Kirk, references to future TOS show/movie villains, etc.). The deep lore cuts have had me shouting incoherently at the TV in excitement. Watching Lower Decks crew nerding out over TOS-era characters while SNW crew geek out about Archer, Hoshi, and Travis from Enterprise NX-01. These moments are so skillfully handled and feel so natural. It reminded me fondly of the incredible DS9 episode where Dax and Sisko end up on Kirk’s Enterprise.
Side note, I have to specifically mention episode “Subspace Rhapsody”…man, THIS is how a musical episode is DONE. Fucking BRAVO.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m truly impressed with the topics they’ve been unabashedly tackling with true Star Trek earnestness, optimism, and reverence. The challenging ethics of prejudice, eugenics, racism, sexism, fascism, war crimes. It’s all here, man. Yes, it’s not perfect and SNW of course has some issues, but this show hits the bullseye overall. Its flaws are completely overshadowed by its triumphs.
TL;DR: STRANGE NEW WORLDS IS STAR TREK AT ITS BEST.

So G.E.M Dukemon Crimson Mode figur by Megahouse is now under the Omegamon Merciful Mode figur also in my vitrine. I have the feeling now after the years the metallic paint is now on some parts like the crimson & gold building fissures…. Or an play with the light.
I got no sleep it‘s already 3 : 00 AM.
Then i considered to putting out GEM Beelzebumon riding on the Behemoth bike- heavy amazing ass looking expansive figure- the level under GEM UlforceVeedramon which is a lot taller in the vitrine.
I can switching the Ulforce with Omegamon MM but Ulforce is a lot heavier on thin glass.
Beelze is now playing with the Tamers & Partners smaller figures on the same base 😅
between the only two Next Edge mini figures of NX Dukemon & NX Alphamon Oryuuken in my collection.

Great Star Trek Rewatch - Enterprise S4
Originally posted on Twitter 31 January 2020 - 7 July 2020
Enterprise Season 4 is up next in my Great Star Trek Rewatch. As in Seasons 1-3, mini-reviews will document my progress.
Storm Front: Nazis in New York, aliens up to no good, a time-ravaged Daniels, and the unforgettable sight of P-51 Mustangs firing on a shuttlepod = a slam-bang season premiere. Alicia Travers is a strong guest character. 9/10
Storm Front, Part II: The Temporal Cold War comes to an end, and so does Silik. The NX-01 shooting down Stukas over Manhattan is a highlight, as well as the final shootout in the temporal conduit complex. 10/10
Home: Archer and Erika Hernandez reconnect and recover, and Trip’s unrequited feelings for T’Pol are thrown in his face by her marriage to Koss, THE most insufferable Vulcan in a series full of them. But it’s Phlox’s encounter with casual racism that hits home. 10/10
Borderland: The Augments trilogy kicks off in style. Brent Spiner is a perfect foil for Archer. Malik makes for a complex proto-Khan, while Persis is almost too clever for her own good. 8/10
Cold Station 12: Malik and Soong start to drift apart here. Too bad we couldn't see more of Udar. Alas. The torture scene with the Symbalene blood burn is insane body horror, right up there with "Conspiracy". The pieces have moved into place for the trilogy's climax. 8/10
The Augments: Interesting debate on nature vs. nurture. Persis deserved better, both from Malik and the arc. I think the ending would have had more impact if we saw Soong write something about positronic brains, rather than have him explicitly mention cybernetics. 8/10
The Forge: RIP Adm. Forrest. Deep, deep Vulcan lore is introduced, things only mentioned off-hand or hinted at in the franchise’s previous forty years (including IDIC). Loved seeing T’Pau and Surak again. 8/10
Awakening: Pieces are moved into place as Archer falls further under Surak’s spell (err, katra). V’Las is veering dangerously close to mustache twirling, but Robert Foxworth is too damn charismatic. The Kir’Shara is found, but it may be too late. 9/10
Kir’Shara: The first steps toward the Federation are taken as V’Las’ assault on Andoria is foiled by Enterprise and Shran. The Vulcans begin a re-evolution here. Meanwhile, a certain raptorial species makes a shocking appearance in the tag. 10/10
Daedalus: This one does nothing for me; ergo, I nothing it. What should be a tragic story in the vein of the vastly superior DS9 “The Visitor” is wasted on a paint-by-numbers “ghost story.” Archer’s relationship with the Erickson’s comes out of nowhere. A rare S4 misfire. 4/10
Observer Effect: Non-corporeal aliens possessing our heroes? Check. Lethal infection? Check. Deus ex machina? Check. But the last-minute reveal that the Organians from the sublime TOS “Errand of Mercy” are the culprits is a great twist that wasn’t telegraphed. 7/10
Babel One: The Tellarites attack and destroy Shran’s ship…or did they? The Andorians attack Enterprise…or did they? Some amazing groundwork is being laid here for not only the rest of S4 but the entire Star Trek universe. The reveal at the end of the episode is 👌. 8/10
United: Pour one out for poor Talas. Tucker and Reed disable the drone, while Archer disables Shran. The reveal at the end of the episode tops the Romulan intrigue from “Babel One”. The Andorians get some great development here, and Jeffrey Combs is sublime per usual. 9/10
The Aenar: The Romulans’ plans are foiled by a rag-tag Vulcan-Human-Andorian-Tellarite alliance, and the ethereal Aenar add much depth to the story. Trip’s feelings for T’Pol lead to a shocking ready room scene. I love these little throughlines connecting distinct stories. 10/10
Affliction: We learn why the Klingons from TOS looked different compared to their later brethren. This was a completely unnecessary “reveal” that IMO has influenced some of the unfair criticism DSC and PIC has endured. But it’s still a mostly thrilling espionage thriller. 6/10
Divergence: The opening sequence is incredible, breathless; something Star Trek rarely indulged in. Phlox’s solution at the end is clever and in character. I’m giving this episode a high score just for that chill-inducing setpiece, but my criticism from “Affliction” stands. 8/10
Bound: I can kinda, sorta see what they were going for in giving the Orion “slave girls” agency…but the execution is still not great. We saw this story already with Duras in S2. 4/10
In a Mirror, Darkly: Star Trek’s first episode set entirely in the Mirror Universe is a doozy: clever reframing of First Contact, a new opening title sequence, and our “heroes” really digging into their Terran Empire selves. The ties to TOS “The Tholian Web” are ingenious. 9/10
In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II: Archer’s mental state unravels as he plots and schemes. But it’s Hoshi (Augustus Iaponius) who gets the last laugh. 9/10
Demons: Another all-too-prescient episode tackling racism through the sci-fi lens of xenophobia. Peter Weller is perfectly cast as the hateful Paxton. Nice to see Mayweather get something to do in this third-to-last episode of the series. 8/10
Terra Prime: ENT’s main story ends on the highest of high notes. It was a great choice to end the Terra Prime story in the third act and give Archer’s speech and Trip & T’Pol’s final scene room to breathe. 10/10
These Are the Voyages…: Didn't like this one 15 years ago, still don't like it today. An absolutely sad way for Star Trek to leave television after 18 consecutive years. This episode gets 1 point for the cameos in the final scene. 1/10
And with that, Season 4 of ENT, and the series itself, comes to an end in my Great Star Trek Rewatch. Final score: 7.86/10. Highest score(s): "Storm Front, Part II," "Home," "Kir'Shara," "The Aenar," "Terra Prime." . Lowest score(s): "These Are the Voyages…"
ENT overall score across 4 seasons and 97 episodes: 6.99/10

2024 Honda NX500
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honda’s A2-compatible mini-adventurer gets a new name – and even more rugged style – for 24YM. Power and torque remain the same for the 471cc engine – at 35kW and 43Nm – while an ECU update improves acceleration feel and Honda Selectable Torque Control is now standard. New wheels save 1.5kg of unsprung weight, adding to an overall weight loss of 3kg, and are matched by revised settings for the 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks and rear shock. Dual discs up front are worked by two piston calipers. A brand-new LED headlight opens up better visibility at night while a new 5-inch TFT screen offers Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, operated by a simplified and backlit 4-way toggle switch.
Tumblr media
- Introduction The CB500X, originally launched in 2013 alongside the naked CB500F (now CB500 Hornet) and fully faired CBR500R, injected crossover adventure style to Honda’s fun-focussed twin-cylinder ‘light middleweight’ trio. Right from the start it was a motorcycle that, without fanfare, quietly got on with the job of being supremely competent and adaptable for a wide variety of owners. The usefulness was down to a straightforward equation – a perky, well-regarded twin-cylinder engine which produced real torque and drive from low rpm while revving hard up top – plus a chassis that gave a supremely comfortable ride both around town and out on the open highway, all wrapped up in distinctive adventure styling. It slipped between the role of short-hop commuter to weekend tourer effortlessly. Long travel suspension ironed out irregular road surfaces, wide handlebars provided leverage, and the upright riding position offered both comfort and a wide field of view for the rider. In 2016 a first upgrade brought with it a larger fuel tank, more wind protection and taller screen, as well as LED lighting, spring preload-adjustable front forks and adjustable brake lever. The 19YM evolution delivered more sophisticated adventure style, more engine performance and a number of chassis upgrades. 22YM saw the addition of high-quality Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD forks, dual front discs, lightweight swingarm and redesigned front wheel. For 24YM Honda’s equation for this bike is improving, but not changing in its essence. The name is new, however. The NX500 is carving out its own identity, with aggressively redesigned styling, premium technology and a variety of detail upgrades that are sure to continue its journey into the hearts and minds of European riders.
Tumblr media
- Model Overview The letters NX have quite a history with Honda and the single-cylinder NX650 Dominator – which debuted in the late 1980s with unique mix of road and off-road style – is fondly remembered across Europe. NX means ‘New X-over’ which is exactly what the new NX500 is. Fun on a winding road, fun on a gravel trail and ready to go the distance, its all-round credentials are reinforced with an impressive update to its adventure styling. The wheels too are lighter, and the suspension settings front and rear have been upgraded to improve ride quality. The A2-compliant, slipper clutch-equipped twin-cylinder engine benefits from the addition of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) as well as ECU updates to improve acceleration. The 24YM NX500 will be available in the following colour options: Grand Prix Red Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic Pearl Horizon White
Tumblr media
- Key Features 3.1 Styling & Equipment - Sharp new adventure style incorporates aerodynamics to improve stability at speed - New LED headlight and taillight - New 5-inch full colour TFT screen includes Honda RoadSync connectivity for on-screen turn-by-turn navigation and access to other smartphone functions - New, simplified left hand switchgear easy to use and backlit for night-time Directed by the design theme of ‘Daily Crossover’, wherever it goes – city block, winding road, highway or gravel trail – the NX500 looks the part, wearing new style that mixes compact adventure-style usability with an imposing silhouette and solidity of form A new LED headlight design maintains beam penetration but throws out wider light distribution for increased visibility when riding – and cornering – at night. It’s matched to a new LED taillight. All other lighting is also LED. Premium technology – in the form of a brand new, 5-inch full colour TFT screen inherited from the XL750 Transalp – uses optical bonding to improve visibility in bright sunlight, a first for a Honda motorcycle. By sealing the gap between the cover glass and TFT screen with resin glare is reduced, and backlight transmittance improved. It’s customisable between Bar, Circle and Simple display patterns and also offers the IOS/Android smartphone connectivity of Honda RoadSync. This new feature – alongside a simplified, easy-to-use, backlit 4-way toggle-switch on the left handlebar – allows straightforward, on-screen turn-by-turn navigation as well as the option (via a Bluetooth helmet headset) for the rider to make calls or listen to music. All an owner has to do is download the Honda RoadSync app from the Play Store or the App Store, connect to the NX500, and go. A slim seat profile allows for free movement around the machine and aids easy ground reach and, to help manoeuvrability, the steering angle is 38° from centred to full lock. Gunmetal grey tapered steel handlebar elevate control further still. Seat height is 830mm and the upright riding position is very accommodating, while providing excellent visibility. Overall dimensions are 2,165mm x 830mm x 1,415mm, with 180mm ground clearance. The fuel tank holds 17.5L including reserve, and, combined with the engine’s excellent fuel economy of 3.6L/100km (27.8km/l) (WMTC mode), gives a range of over 480km.
Tumblr media
3.2 Chassis - 41mm Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks and rear shock feature fine-tuned settings - New, lighter weight wheels - Dual 296mm discs, Nissin axial mount two piston calipers Light, strong and unchanged for 24YM, the 35mm diameter steel diamond-tube mainframe has a tuned degree of yield that gives plenty of feedback to the rider as road surfaces change. The shape and position of the engine mounts, plus the frame’s rigidity balance, keep vibration to a minimum. Wheelbase is 1,445mm with rake and trail of 27.5°/108mm and front/rear bias percentage of 48.7/51.3. Kerb weight is 196kg – 3kg lighter than the CB500X. Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks divide the functions – Big Piston pressure separation damper in one leg, spring mechanism in the other – and reaction and ride quality are top draw. They feature 135mm axle travel (150mm cushion stroke) and have new spring rate and damping settings to improve reaction and feel for both road and off-road riding. The single-tube shock absorber, with 135mm axle travel (60mm cushion stroke) has new settings to match the front and its large-diameter piston ensures excellent temperature management; it offers 5-stage preload adjustment. Constructed from 2mm steel, the swingarm employs a hollow cross member – it is stiff rotationally and flexible laterally to improve handling. Completely new are the cast aluminium wheels. Going from a conventional Y-shaped 7-spoke design to Y-shaped 5-spokes saves 800g front and 700g rear. This reduction of unsprung weight works with the revised suspension settings to improve handling and feel in all situations. The 19-inch front is matched to a 17-inch rear; trail-pattern tyres are sized 110/80-R19 and 160/60-R17. Dual 296mm front discs are worked by Nissin axial mount, two-piston calipers; the rear 240mm disc a single-piston caliper.
Tumblr media
3.3 Engine - Lively twin-cylinder powerplant now equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) - New PGM-FI settings improve low-rpm acceleration and power delivery across the rev-range - Assist/slipper clutch eases upshifts and manages rear wheel through downshifts The A2-licence friendly 471cc, 8-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder layout offers a well-proportioned balance of physical size and willing, enjoyable power output, with an energetic, high-revving character and zappy top end. And it's very much an engine whose overall performance and character belie its relatively small capacity; peak power of 35kW arrives at 8,600rpm, with 43Nm torque delivered at 6,500rpm. A 24YM addition is HSTC to manage rear wheel traction for increased peace of mind and a real boost for rider confidence. The system compares front and rear wheel speeds to detect rear slip and controls the fuel injection to smoothly reduce torque. HSTC can also be turned off completely if the rider wishes. Feeding the PGM-FI fuel injection is a more-or-less straight shot of airflow through the airbox and throttle bodies. Optimisation of ignition timing and air/fuel ratio equals more powerful acceleration feel from low rpm, with linear power delivery and throttle feel. The exhaust muffler features dual exit pipes, giving a sporting edge to each pulse, and a rasping high-rpm howl. Bore and stroke are set at 67mm x 66.8mm and compression ratio is 10.7:1; the crankshaft pins are phased at 180° and a primary couple-balancer sits behind the cylinders, close to the bike’s centre of gravity. The primary and balancer gears use scissor gears, reducing noise. The crank counterweight is specifically shaped for couple-balance and its light weight allows the engine to spin freely, with reduced inertia. Acting as a stressed member, the engine complements the frame’s rigidity with four frame hangers. Internally the cylinder head uses roller rocker arms; shim-type valve adjustment allows them to be light, for lower valve-spring load and reduced friction. A silent (SV Chain) cam chain has the surface of its pins treated with Vanadium, reducing friction with increased protection against wear. Inlet valve diameter is 26.0mm with exhaust valve diameter of 21.5mm. Piston shape is carefully designed to reduce piston ‘noise’ at high rpm. Friction is reduced by striations on the piston skirt (a finish that increases surface area, introducing gaps in which oil can flow for better lubrication). The ‘triangle’ proportion of crankshaft, main shaft and countershaft is efficiently compact and the crankcases employ centrifugally cast thin-walled sleeves; their internal design reduces the ‘pumping’ losses that can occur with a 180° phased firing order. A deep sump reduces oil movement under hard cornering and braking; oil capacity is 3.2L. A slick-changing six-speed gearbox is managed by an assist/slipper clutch, eliminating rear wheel ‘hop’ under hard braking and downshifting.
Tumblr media
- Accessories A range of Genuine Honda Accessories designed in parallel with the motorcycle for perfect cohesion are available for the NX500, as individual innovative parts that complement the unit or grouped in packs, and ready to bolt straight on with an official Honda guarantee: Adventure Pack For the rigours of the open road, the Adventure Pack enhances the off-roader appearance while adding extra comfort and protection. Fog Lights improve visibility in poor weather conditions and are mounted on top of the Front Side Pipes, finished in black, which help to protect the motorcycle. The Knuckle Guards protect the hands from the cold and flying debris, while the Smoked Screen and Wheel Stripes add style. A Tank Pad shields paint from zip damage. Travel Pack A set of dual 16.5L semi-rigid plastic panniers with an easy attachment system combine with a Rear Seat Bag with up to 22L of capacity make traveling easier. Urban Pack For daily riding in and out of town this is the perfect setup; a 38L Top Box offers plenty of storage space and comes complete with Pillion Backrest and handy Inner Bag. The Main Stand allows easy chain maintenance and convenient parking on uneven surfaces. Comfort Pack For added comfort and practicality, the Heated Grips take the cold out of winter days, with up to 5 heat levels and memory function while being displayed on the TFT. The Wind Deflectors help keep turbulent traveling air away from the rider’s lower body. An ACC Socket offers a charging point under the seat and the 3L Tank Bag allows convenient carrying with a see-through pocket for smartphones and a rain cover. All the accessories featured in packs can also be purchased individually.

Great Star Trek Rewatch - Enterprise S1
Originally posted on Twitter 20 August 2019 - 6 September 2019
Enterprise Season 1 is up first. Mini-reviews will document my progress.
Broken Bow: a fantastic pilot episode sets up the unfairly-maligned prequel series. This is my ultimate “comfort food” episode. 10/10
Fight or Flight: the first scene on the Axanar spaceship is creepy. I’m glad Hoshi gets a focus episode so early in the series, but it leans way too heavily on the fear of flight trope. The armory set is cool. 7/10
Strange New World: ENT’s first planetary away mission. The sinister flowers are a nice call back to TOS. The breakdown scenes are nicely acted. Well-executed body horror with the transporter mishap. 7/10
Unexpected: Yeah, it’s the “Trip gets pregnant” episode. The pregnancy jokes are tone-deaf, but the truly alien Xyrillians and their ship are an interesting addition to the franchise. T’Pol’s gambit to broker détente is very Spock-like. 6/10
Terra Nova: I love that ENT is filling in its own history while filling in the history between STFC and TOS. Kids surviving disaster is shades of “Miri”. The “alien” makeup is on point, and the guest cast (incl. the great Erick Avari) is excellent. 7/10
The Andorian Incident: ENT’s first truly excellent episode after “Broken Bow”. I wish they had focused on the Vulcan-Andorian conflict the first two seasons instead of the Temporal Cold War. Jeffrey Combs’ best character, Shran, makes an immediate impression. 10/10
Breaking the Ice: A rogue comet leads to an encounter with a stuffy, arrogant Vulcan. Capt Vannik is, I think, supposed to come off as arrogant, but to me comes off as a caricature. The effects are good and the Vulcan snowman is good fun. 8/10
Civilization: ENT’s first alien disguise mission. Riaan is a charming, determined local who impresses the audience and Phlox with her detective skills. We get to meet the Malurians before their off-screen extinction in TOS. Otherwise a cromulent episode. 6/10
Fortunate Son: Some folks are born made to haul cargo Ooh, they're slow to go And when the Nausicaans say “Give up your cargo” Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord It ain't for me, it ain't for me, I ain't a fan of Fortunate Son 5/10
Cold Front: Our heroes host a religious event, while Silik and Daniels advance the Temporal Cold War. The temporal observatory is a slick piece of VFX. Otherwise, it’s pretty slow for a high-stakes episode. Phlox continues his campaign for Most Interesting Man in the World. 7/10
Silent Enemy: I can’t put my finger on it, but something about this episode just clicks for me. Maybe it’s our heroes cut off from Earth, the enigmatic aliens, or the crew coming together to upgrade their own ship. Just a fun plot-driven episode. 8/10
Dear Doctor: No Prime Directive? No problem! Epistolary episodes can come off as trite, but I enjoy this one thoroughly. One of ENT’s best hours. Phlox is given great development here. The late Kellie Waymire pops up again as Cutler, and it’s a shame she left us so soon. 9/10
Sleeping Dogs: the Somraw is a cool retro design. T’Pol, Hoshi, and Reed spend most of the episode in a sinking ship. Bu’kaH is slightly overacted, but otherwise fine. Somewhat derivative of DS9’s “Starship Down”. Still, an okay romp. 6/10
Shadows of P’Jem: ENT isn’t serialized like DS9 or DSC, but it’s great to see consequences from the excellent “Andorian Incident”. Another fine call back to TOS. 9/10
Shuttlepod One: Strip away the Trek trappings and the scenes on the NX-01, and you’d still have a damn fine one-room two-actor play. More Reed on the heels of “Silent Enemy” is my only complaint. 9/10
Fusion: Ehh. The v’tosh ka’tur are an interesting concept. T’Pol being repulsed by the idea of a mind meld is interesting, though I wish Tolar suffered more consequences for what he did to T’Pol. 5/10
Rogue Planet: Interesting concept, competently done, but nothing special. Shout out to the late Stephanie Niznik as the Wraith. 6/10
Acquisition: As Ferengi episodes go, this one isn’t awful. A smaller number of Rules exist at this time. The episode bends too far to keep our heroes from finding/figuring out who the invaders are. The guest cast is top-notch, including three Trek vets. 7/10
Oasis: I liked this one better when it was a DS9 episode called “Shadowplay.” 2/10
Detained: An episode that has become somewhat more prescient in today’s world. It’s fun to see Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula share scenes again, but it’s an otherwise paint-by-numbers plot. 6/10
Vox Sola: I like what they were trying to do here, but I still don’t get much out of this one each time I watch it. Invention of the forcefield comes a little too easily (and early). 6/10
Fallen Hero: I’m a sucker for race-against-time episodes. Fionnula Flanagan is a delight as V’Lar. Just a well-executed bottle show. 8/10
Desert Crossing: Another trope I always fall for, the “two characters lost in the wilderness” trope. Clancy Brown steals scenes like none other. Would’ve been fun for Mayweather or Hoshi be trapped with Archer. Still, fun to learn more about Archer & Tucker’s friendship. 8/10
Two Days and Two Nights: Our heroes finally make it to Risa. Unfortunately, the Reed/Tucker subplot is marred by juvenile and transphobic humor. Hoshi’s subplot is charming in its own way. Phlox’s scenes are hilarious. Archer has to deal with the fallout from “Detained”. 7/10
Shockwave: A slam-bang finale that starts with an appropriately somber tragedy. Just when the audience thinks our heroes have saved the day, the rug gets pulled out from under everyone. Stranding Archer in the future is a fun twist on plots like “Time’s Arrow”. 9/10
And with that, Season 1 of Enterprise comes to an end in my Great Star Trek Rewatch. Final score: 7.12/10. Highest score(s): “Broken Bow,” “The Andorian Incident”. Lowest score(s): “Oasis”
