3. favorite character from your favorite anime

My favourite anime is House of Five Leaves and I guess my favourite character from it is Masa. The extent this anime doesn’t fit this blog either in terms of content or aesthetics is astounding... But the character writing is just so good in that series.

Zinon dislikes the smell of roses. He can appreciate the flower aesthetically but the smell of them makes him oddly melancholic and nostalgic… fills him with a painful void of loss and bittersweet longing. When he was younger, the feeling probably made him cry. Nowadays, he’s in better control of his emotions. But not knowing why the smell pulls such a strong and unwanted emotional reaction from him annoys him immensely, to the point where he might say he hates roses to anyone who makes the mistake of gifting him some.

The reason for this that Zinon no longer remembers tho? Roses were one of his mother’s emblems and Astarte (my OC for Ancient Cyp.rus) used to wear rose perfume. It is a smell memory that haunts Zinon to this day.

So my dumb a** got rid of the ask by accident but anyways here’s Genoa x Nyo!Cyprus for @nyotaliafan-pinkmermaid and I hope you like it! It took me a while to figure out their characters but I hope I did them justice!

Cyprus was worried. Her boyfriend hadn’t been taking breaks from his work and barely got any sleep.

She was concerned for his health. Nations don’t get sick easily but it does take some time to recover from an illness, should they catch it. Maybe that was some greater power’s idea for balancing humans and nations.

That’s when she got an idea. A staycation, just the two of them, no work and they didn’t have to leave the house.

Genoa would be able to rest while spending time with her, it was perfect. Now all she had to do was pull him away from his work.

The next day, Genoa woke up in peace. He hadn’t gotten sleep in ages and he was glad to get some.

Then he wondered why his alarm didn’t wake him up. His boss was gonna be so mad when he found out he wasn’t working. That’s when his girlfriend, Cyprus came in with a tray.

She had a big smile on her face, “I managed to get you a day off.”

Genoa had an even bigger smile on his face, “Thank you so much Cy.”

Cyprus gave him the tray, “Your favorite.”

He thanked her again and she climbed into bed with him and cuddled him. He cuddled back and asked, “Movie?”

“Definitely.”

When the movie was finished Genoa gave Cyprus a kiss on the forehead, “Thanks for this. I needed a break.” Cyprus snorted, “Yeah I could tell but you’re welcome.”

The two simply stayed together and fell asleep in each other’s arms getting some much needed rest.

Appearance: She has black hair tied in a lower ponytail, brown eyes, and a tan slim body with a hidden scar on her back. Also, she wears glasses but removes it when she transforms.

Family: She lives with her two brothers, Joseph and Emilio, and her sister, Maria. She also has distant siblings like Vanessa (Visayas), Victor (Nyo! Visayas), Aisha (Nyo! Mindanao), and Majid (Mindanao). The other Luzonese provinces and cities also live with her, like Mahalia and her twin brother.

Soul gem: Her soul gem is a golden sun with eight rays or the Philippine Sun, which locates on her left side of her chest.

Wish: “I wish for an honor to fight for my family, my ancestors, my friends, and my country”

Weapon: She used a revamped ‘Spain M93’, which is similar to the one used in the Philippine Revolution. She is more on a Marksman mode (Sharpshooter).

Outfit: Her outfit is similar to the uniforms during the Philippine Revolution. She wears a blue/white polo shirt, with red belts, white skirt (below the knee), and brown boots.

Witch form: Her witch form is Hukluban named after the Tagalog Goddess of Death. Hukluban is a shapeshifting mangkukulam who can transform herself into any form she desires. She can kill someone by simply raising her hand if you are disgraceful to her words. Her labyrinth is Malacañang Palace in Manila, Philippines.
