Speaking in Tongues is the next work planned for UH3. It’s a RadioApple nonsexual smut fic based on an idea I had to cut from Bloodlust and Butterflies.

*as-seen-on-TV advertiser voice* It’s got kink negotiation, it’s got bloodplay, it’s got masochism that would kill a human! It’s got Alastor being a brat and Lucifer being into that! It’s got me projecting onto Alastor, once again, in more ways than one! And all for 3 easy payments of-

Lucifer was on him in an instant, gripping Alastor’s jaw between his fingers and forcefully tilting his face, angling it downwards so that Alastor’s eyes met his.

The Devil’s voice was like Hell frozen over in its icy calm. “I’ve got half a mind to tear that disobedient tongue right from your mouth,” he said.

“Lucifer,” Alastor purred, his voice slowly filling with static. “Is that a threat or a promise?”

“That depends,” Lucifer replied, releasing his hold on Alastor’s face. The warmth had returned to his words, and his gaze was firm but gentle. “Is it a fantasy or something you actually want?”

“It has its appeal,” Alastor said, coyly. He feigned an interest in his fingers, clicking his claws together as he spoke. “I took yours, once, and I have thought about what it might be like to be on the receiving end of things.”

“Which is to say, it was a fantasy.” Alastor eyed Lucifer from over his hand, eyes surely glowing with the intensity of his gaze. “I’m interested in making it a reality.”

“I heal much faster than you, darling deer,” Lucifer pointed out. “I regrew my tongue not long after you swallowed it. Without my help, yours would be lost for hours, maybe even days.”

Alastor waved off his concerns. “Then heal it at the end of our session. Like you always do with my more serious injuries.”

“Well, that goes without saying,” Lucifer said, marking the second time the supposedly unspoken rule had been mentioned in this conversation, alone. “But what if you need it back before then? What if you need to stop?”

“I have my ‘safe-word,’” Alastor reminded him. The concept of it was still new and somewhat strange, but the word itself, the word he’d chosen, was familiar.

Lucifer rolled his eyes. “Yes, but it’d be rather difficult to use without your tongue, wouldn’t it, my deer?”

Alastor smiled. Without moving a muscle, he pulled the sound of his own voice from the airwaves and projected it through his microphone.

“I don’t need my tongue to speak,” Alastor said, mouth still completely still.

Lucifer’s eyes widened, his pupils dilated, and his mouth fell open as he sucked in a breath. “I didn’t know you could do that.”

Alastor hooked a finger under Lucifer’s chin and drew him closer. “I’ve got to keep you on your toes, Devil dearest.”

Right on cue, Lucifer shifted onto his tip-toes in order to lift himself towards Alastor’s lips.

“You have no idea what you do to me,” Lucifer whispered.

Alastor hummed, voice buzzing with static. “But I know I’m very good at it.”

43. what’s your take on spicy foods?

I love spicy foods, however, I have a pretty low tolerance.

I like both the burn and the taste, but I know where I stand, and where I stand is like… medium salsa if I want a whole meal’s worth, or about 3 super-spicy-ghost pepper/Carolina reaper/etc. chips.

If I order jalapeños on my pizza, I’m only putting them on half because I’m inevitably going to need a break.

Honestly, though, I think that’s part of the fun for me? If I improved my spice tolerance more, then I’d have to keep upping the anti in order to find things that give me that burn, so maybe it’s best not to.

Write about liking spicy food without sounding like a masochist when you are in fact a masochist challenge (Difficulty level: Really fucking hard, dude.)

18. what hair products do you use?

I have to switch shampoo and conditioner because I forgot to check parent companies on my last one, and it turns out they’re owned by fucking Nestle.

But uh, just shampoo and conditioner, really. I used to use leave in conditioner, too, but I really can’t afford it, anymore.

I changed my url on a different blog, once, a long time ago, and it was such a fucking pain that I decided to never do it again. All my links were fucked up. A spam bot stole my old url. It was terrible.

I choose a url long before I decide to start posting, and then I stick with it for better or worse. This has been my strategy ever since that fateful day. (And fuck you, spam bot that stole my url. I’m still bitter.)

Nyx’s is Bex, they/them They’re, lovingly, based off a leech, so they have a mouth full of serrated sand-worm teeth. I gave them fnaf-based sun and moon earrings and Dahlia Hawthorne’s scarf. The scars are from fighting too much with other demons

mine is Chanterel, it/its I really like acid and drippy liquids and was trying to figure out how I could turn that into a poetic demon form and then Nyx wondered if I died by eating a misidentified mushroom. In my heart I’m like “ah, the christians would condemn me for the hedonism and sexuality” but more likely they’d get my Pagan ass for divination.
