Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (449): Fri 9th Jun 2023

Since I live in the attic of my Mam's house and my dog Lucy insists on sleeping in my room this means that every morning I have to carry her down the rickety 20 year old ladder in order to let her out for a shit and to give her breakfast. Sometimes however she's so excited to get fed that she starts jumping around like a kangaroo near the hatch and this morning she jumped backwards and almost fell down the hole. Luckily I lunged for her and managed to stop her in time but it was a close call. I would never forgive myself if she fell down the hole and got seriously hurt or killed. I thought about telling Mam about this near miss but I soon changed my mind because Mam hates Lucy at this stage and can't wait for her to die and the last thing I want to do is give her tips on how to bump her off.

Brendan Schaub has cancelled a UK tour after selling virtually no tickets. This, unlike Schaub, is hilarious and it just goes to show that you can't just jump from one form of entertainment to stand up comedy and expect your fans from your primary area of expertise to follow you and genuinely enjoy your new endeavor. If this prick was serious about being a comedian he would start out by doing shitty little clubs, bombing and working on his act rather than just filling venues with his fans from his octagon days and just hope that they have no frame of reference for what good comedy is. I've sat through as much of Schaub's stand up as I could withstand and I genuinely thing Lembit Obik's set made me chuckle more.
